Overall, a great option in Damascus. It’s a tiny cabin on a great and quiet street. Walkable to cute shops and food. It’s in a little group of other cabin rentals that back up to the river and have a nice central fire pit. My kids enjoyed watching the ducks in the river, riding their bikes out front and my husband could fly fish in the back yard. We used it mainly as a launch point for the VA Creeper trail and some hiking/fishing (so we didn’t spend much time inside). It was felt fairly clean (not immaculate but fine). No dishwasher or laundry, but that wasn’t an issue. They allowed us to have a late check out which was kind. At the time we stayed here, the picture in VRBO showed that the cabin was cream colored but it has actually been painted grey. And maps lead us a little past the cabins but we could tell where they were so it wasn’t an issue. Hopefully they will update the arrival information to include the cabin # (not just the address). If not, just verify that before coming. It’s a nice, simple, lodging option as long as you don’t need much space. We would stay here again.
