My wife declared this to be the best VRBO we've stayed at... it is a charming, older adobe home that has been kept in great condition. Clean and welcoming, it is located in easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, and the plaza (comeplete with live music on the weekend). There is some great hiking and historical sites nearby as well.

Great place in a great location

Loved this little place just inside old town. We walked to shops, bars, dinner and just enjoyed the surrounding area. Great place, had a nice little fire, watched a movie at night. It has everything you need. Great place.

Perfect location - wonderful amenities

This special Casa is perfectly located and Denise has thought of everything to make your stay comfy - she even had two waffle weave robes which is super nice when you’re tight on suitcase space! Don’t hesitate to book this - lovely five day stay for us 💗💗💗

Fun stay in Old Town Albuquerque

Had to call the host to help us find the property. Easy walking distance to shops, museums, restaurants. Property was old but was very quiet, comfortable, private, well appointed, and parking was easy. Outdoor patio was great. Appliances were nice and kitchen well stocked. Bed was very comfortable and a fireplace was available but smelled even though it was cleaned. Lighting could have been brighter. We would stay here again.

Quaint and Comfortable!

Casa Azul is very well furnished and located in a safe and convenient area just off the Plaza. The decor is wonderful, it fits into the area perfectly! The bed was so comfortable, I thought I was in my own home. It was very enjoyable and we will definitely return!

Beautiful house in great location

Casa Azul is a beautiful house in a perfect location, just minutes from the Old Town Plaza, yet quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed relaxing in the lovely garden after a busy day. Denise was a very responsive host. A great place to stay!

So peaceful and great location

This little house, with its peaceful, shady, private courtyard is a true gem. It backs up to the historic square so you are literally 30 seconds from shopping, ice cream, coffee, art, and food. The stucco walled courtyard is covered with shade trees and even on the hottest day you can enjoy being outside. We've decided that this will be our official "vacation home" in NM.

Awesome Gem

Casa Azul is a gem !! Awesome small home right in the center of old town!! Beautiful courtyard where you can sit and listen to live music from the gazebo on the plaza! Owner is fantastic and responds promptly! We can’t wait to return!!

What a wonderful place to stay!

We had a two week stay and it was wonderful! The house had everything we needed - to cook and "live". A step outside of the private courtyard has you in the heart of Old Town - we only got in the car once! Our host was a dream - easy to communicate with and an above and beyond host! Totally coming back! Absolutely 5 stars!!

Wonderful Getaway

Comfortable, centrally located casitas with delightful New Mexican design touches, private courtyard, nicely appointed kitchen, and reserved parking. Lots of restaurants, and for us, all our "valley" friends from our prior Albuquerque "life," were close at hand. Our hostess was most accommodating, takes great pride in her property, and will make you glad you chose to stay at Casa Azul. 5 stars.

Wonderful Casita With Private Courtyard

We loved everything. It was easy to communicate with owner, to pay our bill and the casita was stocked with everything you could possibly need. We were very comfortable staying there. We loved the courtyard and my favorite thing was the porch swing. The location is awesome because you can walk to the shops and restaurants on the old Albuquerque historic square. No complaints at all. We would definitely come back.

Come, come and get away

Come, come and get away. This property is located dead center of old town. You don’t have neighbors except for a lot of the vendors and restaurants. You can walk to almost everything. The property is quiet, clean, relaxing, and has all the amenities that you need and is very well stocked. People walking by the beautiful front gate with P or inside the courtyard as though it were a secret Garden. Come, come and get away

Charming, clean and thoughtfully detailed

We were looking for a quaint and relaxing 3-4 day stop to wind down after our son’s Vegas wedding on our way back to Texas, and Casita Azul was so perfect!! Not only because of the fantastic location right on Old Town Albuquerque Square, but more so due to Denise’s spot-on attention to every detail. Towels and toiletries at the ready, coffee for our first morning, everything you may need for your stay was thoughtfully set up for our arrival. We let her know we’d be arriving late, and Denise even stopped by to make sure the lights were on so we wouldn’t be bumbling in the dark. Our two little dogs were welcome and completely at home, they really loved the courtyard! And so did we! HIGHLY recommend!

Best spot in town!!

My husband and I both absolutely fell in love with this home! The private courtyard outside is a great place to sit and talk and have morning coffee. The way the Casita is styled inside is beautiful, the ease of getting in and out of the property was probably the easiest in all of the homes we visited, the property manager was incredibly helpful, the fireplace was magnificent and the list goes on and on! Every time we left the home, we both just looked at each other and started giggling and how awesome our location is! Recommendations: -Lowe's has great firewood if you run out of what they have at the home and it smells fabulous! -Antiquity is a great restaurant right in old town. Be sure to make reservations. -The Breaking bad tour was absolutely awesome exclamation point and the pickup spot, is a one minute walk from this house! -There is a flamenco dancing experience that's about a seven minute walk from here. I can't recall the name of the place but if you look up flamenco dancing, it will pop up. Best Casita in ABQ!!!

The place was immaculate, very cozy and perfectly situated for wandering around Old Town. The fireplace was wonderful for relaxing at night and the patio was peaceful for coffee in the morning. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
