Amazing holiday house

Absolutely beautiful property with exceptional decor that really does make it feel like a beautiful beach holiday house. Love being on the water and this house is going to be getting a regular visit from us.

Great family home

Love this property! We went as a family of 5 adults and another family of 5 were to join us but unfortunately couldnt at the last minute.So we are going to rebook when they can make it ! Plenty of room with a couple of living areas ,fishing at the back door .Close to Wave Bowl ten pin bowling and Hydro golf .Every thing you need including a Bbq. Looking forward to next time already!

Hibbard Waterfront Escape was perfect for our stay. The renovated home is beautifully styled and the generous sleeping and living areas are extremely comfortable. Generous bedding and amenities provide ample facilities for all. The air conditioning and ceiling fans were welcome relief at the end of some hot days and the access to the canal via the private jetty was met with squeals of delight from our children. Hours spent swimming and playing, chasing and feeding the fish. As well a nice spot for over-seeing mums and dads to sit and enjoy a chilled beverage. Our only recommendation would be a new vacuum cleaner. We had some trouble vacuuming the carpets as the cleaner supplied had very little suction. This home completely suited our needs. We’ll be back again, same time next year.

Neat home. Comfortable stay, some issues

We recently stayed at the property for a family wedding. Mostly everything was lovely and comfortable and clean. It was dirty under beds and lounges with dust, a dead huntsman in wardrobe and dusty in second bedroom, dog poo in back yard and smoke butts, kitchen cupboards are marked and stained from cans of food and food products and the ducted air conditioning didn’t work when we arrived. Real estate was quick to fix this. After our stay I stripped beds Of all linen and towels and left it tidy for cleaners only minus vacuuming, I then received and email stating we left the place in a state with stains on sunroom carpet, chair cushions in dinning room and stains on the lounge. After I replied and looked through my phone where I did a walk through video for the gram and took many photos, the realestate came back that I was infact correct except for lounge that needed steam cleaning. I feel this is over kill especially considering I paid a cleaning fee with my accommodation and it certainly didn’t need professional cleaning on top of that. I did however offer to pay a cleaner to go back in and attend to the lounge marks. I am wary about renting a holiday stay from them again even though the location and house was very nice and comfortable due to being blamed for damage that was obviously there when we first walked in and I have the photos and video to prove it. So to anyone looking at staying here for holidays, take photos of every room when you arrive and any stains or marks on carpets or walls as you’ll probably get blamed for it which is a shame. I would’ve given a better review if it wasn’t for the issues I had.

Great holiday house

We spent a or of time in the house as it rained all weekend. But the house was perfect for our needs. Location was close to many local amenities and would be amazing on sunny days with the beautiful canal outlook.

Perfect spot

Great house, perfect for large family close to everything. Although the house was tidy and well stocked, it really does need a good clean. Basic vacuuming under furniture and cob webs were an issue. Would still recommend.

Needs to have Wi-Fi access. Kayak has holes in it so kids couldn't use it. Had to purchase our own.

Overall a nice property. Beds were comfy. Great position.

Great place to stay

A group of 5 adults stayed in the house. There was plenty of room for all.. It would also be a great place with a family or even 2.. Great location. Very quiet spot. Highly recommended

All about the location

Nice house but lack of maintenance has made it not worth what is charged. Wasp nests all around the outside of house not very safe. Back sunroom stinks unless windows are open 24/7 due to carpet being layed on pavers and getting wet. Then the jetty well I wouldnt even tie my boat to it. It really needs some work. You still need a new vacuum as per previous guests mentioned. Was disappointed about the lack of garage use and add not saying anything about that. Bbq plates were a mess. There was broken window on sunroom and clothes line is terrible. Nice location just needs work if charging high nightly rates.

Comfy and cosy

The property is comfortable and cosy. There is plenty of beds and areas to relax. The location is central and very quiet. The property is well equipped for all your needs. One area of improvement could be all the external doors. They need a bit of TLC and maintenance. Apart from that, overall great place to stay!

Relaxing on the cannal

This is a great large family home. It allows for activity on the water whilst relaxing on the waters edge. It is a perfect solution for a family of mixed ages.

Good property, good location

Nice property, good location and not far from town centre. Would definitely stay here again and remember to bring the kayak or boat next time with the fishing gear

Great holiday house

The house was perfect and clean. We were 3 families and we were all comfortable and happy. Great little yard for our family BBQs. Will definitely recommend to my family and friends. Three small things that could improve visitors comfort would be, the sofa bed needs a better mattress and upgrade the vacuum cleaner as it didn’t clean the carpets very well. Also, more information regarding rubbish pick up days required (yellow lid bin was completely full upon our arrival). No rubbish bins were collected during our stay from what we could see on our street. Apart from that everything was fantastic.
