Overall the property was exactly what we were looking for to host our party of 6. The rooms/beds were all clean and as specified in the overview. The appliances all worked well, and were in great condition/ We were able to use the back porch and the furniture there was great. The firepit looked great, however we were unable to utilize it due to a burn ban which were not aware of until the day before arrival. The outdoor/uncovered furniture was not in as good of shape as the others, so we chose not to use it. Overall we had a great stay, I would book this property again as it was one of the few large enough to accommodate us and it had the remote location we prefer. The hosts were great, very responsive, and on top of things when we reached out to them.

Great home with a great layout. Lots of room and stocked with condiments and cooking equipment, coffee and coffee maker, shower and soap amenities. The entrance to the property is non-descript—so you may miss it at first. Highly recommend in the wine country! Great communication with Stay Texas and very responsive.

First off, the place was clean and beds comfortable. I like my coffee in the morning, but their coffee maker was supposed to use pods or ground coffee. I never like the ground coffee provided (most use the cheapest stuff) so I brought my own coffee pods. The side of the coffee maker that used the pods, did not work. It would dribble about a tablespoon of coffee in your cup. I pushed that button about 4 times just to get a half a cup of coffee. There were 3 of us staying, so that was not realistic. The kitchen was set up good, except some of the pans need to be replaced. They didn't sit flat on the electric burner, so you had to turn up the temp to get stuff to cook. The center was the hottest since it set on the burner while the rest of the pan didn't. The GFI in the master bedroom and the center bathroom were tripped, so we couldn't use the blow dryer in the bathrooms. We used the mirror that was provided in the master bedroom and sat on the floor. We looked all over the place trying to find the outlet that had the reset button for the GFI but never found it. The outdoor furniture below back deck was falling apart and didn't look safe to even sit on. It would be better not to have any there at all than leave the trashy looking stuff. The big hole in front window should be replaced instead of the patch job. Been nice to have instructions somewhere on how to use the outdoor grill. We improvised to get our steaks cooked. The price I paid was too much.

Pamela, pushing that pod button four times for half a cup is no way to start a morning, and you were right to call it out. The coffee maker is being replaced, the warped pans are going out this week, and the GFI reset locations are being labeled and written into the house guide along with instructions for the grill. The furniture under the back deck is being hauled off rather than left to look the way it does, and the front window is scheduled for proper glass instead of another patch. Thanks for laying it all out so plainly. Come back and let the house work the way it should, steaks on a grill you have directions for and coffee that actually pours. Come back and see us and your next stay is 10% off, as it is for all our returning guests. Sincerely, Morgan, Director of Operations.
