cabin21 riverside - peaceful mountain cabin in Thredbo village

Located on the edge of the the snowy mountains village of Thredbo, just up a short sloped path, cabin 21 Riverside has what you need for bush getaway. Kick back and relax after a day out on the mountain in this welcoming space.
Cabin21 is a cosy welcoming natural wood cabin, with epic views of the Mountains and ski fields.
It is a short walk (5 minutes) to the Village & Kosciuszko Express Chairlift for skiing, hiking and mountain biking.
The cabin is private and fully self-contained. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a stocked Nespresso coffee machine, induction stove top cooking and the new oven has an air fryer mode for easy dinners.
A complimentary bottle of wine will be ready for you on arrival.
Enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon drink on the verandah while using the Weber baby Q to cook your steak. Watch the skiing or mountain-biking from the lounge.
There are plenty of dining out options nearby including the fabulous Piste bar in the Riverside cabin complex, or various eateries 5 minutes walk away in the village centre.
For sleeping options - Upstairs in the loft is a comfy queen bed, and downstairs in the living area there is a handy sofa bed.
When you arrive you can your vehicle in the designated Riverside 15 minute loading zone and then park your car in one of the free Thredbo carparks. We recommend car park 3 for easiest access. A free shuttle bus operates here in winter around the village and to the car parks, and everything in Thredbo is within walking distance. Once in Thredbo there is no need to use your car again.

Guest access:
You will have the whole place to yourself. Amenities include a full kitchen, lounge, balcony, bedroom, bathroom and even a washer and dryer.

Access is by a personalised key code on the smart door lock.

Other things to note:
The cabin is only suitable for a couple or for two single people. Babies and small children are an exception to this. We have a portacot for babies. There are extra towels and bedding available to make up the sofa bed in the chaise storage part of the sofa. The cabin does have a staircase inside to get up to the loft sleeping area.
