Charming Cottage Near Bercé Forest: Fireplace, Billiards, Garden, Close to Hiking & Cycling Trails

Halfway between Le Mans and Tours (10 km from Château-du-Loir), on the A28 motorway, Château-du-Loir exit, Maryse and Philippe Cissé welcome you to their gîte on the edge of the Bercé forest, a designated exceptional forest, in the Loir Valley region. The gîte is situated on a 3,000 m² wooded property.

On the ground floor: a 40 m² living room with a lounge area and a fireplace with an insert, a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, fridge-freezer, oven, microwave), one bedroom with a double bed and an en-suite shower room, and a billiard room. On the first floor: two bedrooms with one double bed each, one bedroom with four single beds, two adjoining bedrooms with four single beds each, a shower room or bathroom, and a toilet. Electric heating. Amenities include a terrace with garden furniture, barbecue, sun loungers, a pétanque court with boules available for adults and children, bicycles, and laundry facilities. Parking and a closed garage are provided. On-site, there is a dairy farm with free tours of a milking robot. Hiking, horseback riding, and mountain biking trails in the Bercé forest start 50 meters from the gîte. Bed linen can be rented (€10/bed) and towels (€8/person). Baby equipment is available (travel cot, high chair, cot, baby bath, changing table). Electricity and firewood are not included and must be paid directly to the owners upon departure. Fiber optic Wi-Fi is available.
Security deposit: €800.

A mandatory cleaning fee of €100 is payable upon booking or arrival. Board games are available. A ground-floor bedroom with an en-suite shower room and toilet is also provided.
