We absolutely loved our quick family getaway! Really wish we could have stayed longer! The outside tub and the fantails in the morning was the highlight! The views are breathtaking! The house was so clean and we had everything we needed! Thanks Resh and Gemma!

Hughly recommended if you want to get away - the location is so beautiful, forest as far as the eye can see, with your own private forest walk. The house itself is amazing too - clean, modern, just like the pictures. The host is very reaponsive, couldn't fault it, 5 stars

We had the most amazing stay here for our anniversary! The hosts went above and beyond with thoughtful extra touches that made our celebration feel so special, and we really appreciated the effort they put in.The place was spotless, beautifully presented, and so easy to access. Everything was exactly as described, making it a completely stress-free getaway.The highlight was definitely the outdoor tub - the view from there is absolutely breathtaking and worth the stay on its own. It was such a peaceful and memorable experience.We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway - we’ll definitely be back!

We had a very relaxing time and loved our stay! Our favourite parts were that we couldn’t hear any traffic, the view outside was beautiful, the tub with bubble bath was great. Even though it rained most of the time we were there, having a bath in the rain was nice. We loved the chocolate treat and marshmallows on arrival. The piwaiwaka (fantails) visiting was very cute! The heater worked well if we got cold and we loved the fact there are bunk beds if we come back again and bring the kids. We recommend this for anyone wanting to get away from the big city as it was only a 40min drive from Auckland so not too far yet it felt like we were further away because of how quiet it was. Thank you so much for having us!

In 2024, we began building our guesthouse with the vision of creating a relaxing retreat where others could disconnect from the busy world and enjoy the beauty of nature just as much as we do.

We genuinely enjoy hosting and creating a warm, welcoming space where guests can unwind and feel at home. One of our favourite features of the guesthouse is the outdoor bath, positioned on the private deck overlooking the surrounding landscape. The deck sits close enough to the native greenery and pine trees to feel immersed in nature, while still offering comfort, openness, and a peaceful sense of escape. It’s the perfect place to soak under the stars, listen to the birds, and enjoy the tranquillity of the countryside. Our haven is designed for rest, relaxation, and reconnecting with nature.

Tucked away in the beautiful countryside of Waimauku, our guesthouse offers guests the chance to truly slow down, relax, and reconnect with nature while still enjoying modern comforts and a beautifully designed space.
Surrounded by native greenery and pine trees, the property has a calming, private atmosphere that feels far removed from the busyness of everyday life.

Guests also have easy access to private short walks directly from the guesthouse, allowing them to explore the peaceful surroundings and enjoy the fresh country air at their own pace.
