Boat Tie-up
A one-level pier with boat whips for offloading and onloading to rental boats is on property. If you plan to use the whips to dock a boat, please be sure you are knowledgeable and do so at your own risk. The cove often has large waves.

Sandy Shores Marina on Big Chief Drive is the nearest pay-to-enter ramp (15 minute drive - approx $5.) There is a neighborhood boat ramp just a few doors down which past renters have used. However, it will not work for all boats or trailers or at all water levels.

Can we tie the boat to the whips overnight?
In mild weather, renters have used the whips their entire stay. If you choose to use the whips, please do so at your own risk. We receive the highest waves in spring. The house is on open water.

Does your pool get hot in July/August?
Thanks to the lake breeze, the pool is refreshing all summer long.

Can we heat the pool? (New policy of 10/1/25. Pool heat up to 85 to degrees is included, if needed, April 20 - October 10. Spa heat is included year-round. The pool can be heated other months (charged at cost) if nights are above 65 degrees. Cost to heat the pool is approx $100-150/day. Note: In below 40 degree temperature, the freeze-guard prevents hot tub use.

Does your property have…?
Requests are welcome. The ping pong table, two cribs, a larger coffee maker, outside wood grill, volleyball set, and many other items have all been added by request at no charge.

Can we have more than 23 guests?
Exceeding the 23 person guest limit violates the rental agreement. Please ask permission vs forgiveness and be transparent in all requests.

Your policy is non-refundable. What if I need to cancel?
If you need to cancel, I can offer a date switch to an off-peak, non-holiday weekend, such as October or early spring. I would also consider a refund if I am able to rebook the dates relative to the amount I recoup.

The goal is not to make double money but to protect from people blocking dates until fully committed. I am fully committed to your dates when you book and have never cancelled a booking.

There are no words to describe how wonderful this place was for our family vacation. We have 23 people in our family & all had enough space to be comfortable. The swimming pool was perfect for our group, it has a shallow pad the toddlers could play in. All in the proximity of an enclosed patio that can be opened up to have better access to what’s going on in the back yard yet be comfortable with a little AC. We really loved that it was set far enough off the lake that the kids couldn’t wander too close & fall in on accident. The fishing was AMAZING. I bet we caught more than 30 catfish (released every one of them). Jennifer even supplied some fishing poles. All of the adults had their own bed & TV. The master is set back just enough that you can’t hear a thing going on in the rest of the house. It was such a treat sleep in & take a nap in peace & quiet. We had extended family come for one day which brought our count up to 28. We still had room to all be in the kitchen & eat comfortably. My mom is in a wheel chair & we were able to maneuver her wherever the action was.

Annual Lake House

The whole family has been meeting up at a lake house for a week since 2020. It’s become everyone’s favorite week of the year. This year at Casa Palma was one of the best! The house and pool was lovely and the lake was great. Jennifer was wonderful and extremely helpful and responsive. We are looking forward to staying at Casa Palma in the near future

Perfect lake house

This is our second time staying at this lovely property. The home is stunning and perfect for our large family. We have a total of 8 kids of all ages and they are never board. The owner has thought of everything and she is so accommodating if we need anything, The coffee pot broke while we were there this time and within two hours there was a new one delivered. We will definitely be staying here again.

Perfect family house

We loved this house for every minute of our stay. The hostess really thought of everything. Especially fun to have the ping pong table/fooseball/shuffle board for when we needed a break from the sun. Which I should mention, we actually brought a pop up tent for extra outdoor shade since it was so hot. That was nice to have. Such a great property, thank you!

Casa Palma is Incredible

The house is amazing. The pictures tell half the story, you have to stay here to get the full story. So much room both in the main house and in the covered porch. The house is stocked with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Our group of 11 loved the kitchen, the beds were great and the pool was amazing. Jennifer was very communicative from the time we reserved Casa Palma until we checked out. We can’t wait to come back!!!

Excellent family vacation!

We totally enjoyed our stay at Casa Palma. Our group ranged from 9 to 71 and the house proved comfortable for everyone. All the couples had their own room with bathroom and the other rooms also had bathrooms for the kid groups. There was room for everyone to spread out and at the same time great areas for everyone to be together. I have never stayed at a house with a kitchen which was as well stocked and the indoor/outdoor patio was a popular puzzle making area. Jennifer was very responsive to any problems and everything was always cleared up as soon as possible. We had Courtney one day for massages which was also wonderful. She was great. The neighborhood was great for walking in spite of the high summer temperatures. I would say the only thing that could improve this property would be a full-size dock, but in the end we didn't miss it and had a great time. All in all an absolutely great house and I would recommend it 100%.

Dream vacation

This place has it all. The homeowner has really thought of everything. We had 13 people ranging from ages three on up, and this place was perfect for every age with tons of games and entertainment. We were there five days and did not need to leave the house to find entertainment. We rented jet skies from a local place near by they will bring them right to the dock if you need them to. The host was amazing as well She put a birthday banner out for our arrival for my grandson’s birthday, she purchased fishing poles at my request and a helium tank to blow balloons up. She really went beyond what she needed to and we really appreciate her. The home was immaculate!! We will definitely return to this property.

Slice of Heaven

This house is a treasure! It has absolutely everything you could even think of needing for a week stay. The house is pristine, beds are extremely comfortable, and there’s a restroom in every room. It’s extremely spacious and has gorgeous light coming in from all the windows, yet it’s very private. We were able to tie up our boat to the dock and use it all weekend. It’s even more lovely than the pictures and Jennifer is a dream to work with as a host. She is kind, responsive, and upbeat. The pool is warm and the hot tub is hot, the grill is great as well as the smoker! It was like staying in paradise! I fancy myself a bit bougie, and this place is a 12/10! I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a remarkable getaway!

Beautiful property

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful property. Jennifer was amazing. We hired Ruth to do our meals wiggle we were there and we also used Courtney to come in and do massages. Highly recommend this home and the referrals were amazing!!

Amazing property for large families

We had the best time at this home celebrating Christmas on the lake! The views are beautiful of course, but the home is really the gem. With 12 adults and 8 kids, there was plenty of space to play and people to have their own space. The rooms are HUGE and every room basically has a king bed. The home has everything you need to bake, cook, entertain, etc. and made Christmas and New Years a blast. We are already talking about when to come back and hopefully when it’s hot and we can enjoy the lake and beautiful pool!

Nice home to enjoy thanksgiving with family

House and location is great. Perfect for a big family. Owner was so nice and helpful, and very responsive. I would love to come back in the summer when the weather is warmer.

Wonderful property

My family and I stayed at this property as our annual family vacation for my birthday. The weather did not cooperate but the house was everything we needed. My only suggestion is one of the adult bedrooms with a king bed did not have a TV. The property manager was wonderful and very easy to work with.

Heaven on Earth!

We were ready for a break and wanted somewhere close to Dallas with a pool and a lake view….and boy did we hit the jackpot! Jennifer was great front the start, and she made us feel so welcome in her magnificent home. It’s everything you would want….and more! Cook’s kitchen is amazing, and they are set up to handle 2 to 22! Inside and out is feast for the eyes, and the screened area is beyond words! There is a view from every room….whether it’s a courtyard, the pool or the incredible lake view. Everything was just perfect as she had thought of everything you might possibly need! We went the more relaxed mode, but trust me there are plenty of options to keep everybody entertained! It’s the type of property that would be perfect in every season….we will definitely be back!
