THE LOCATION...

The Commodore’s Refuge is located at Mile Marker 17 on Lower Sugarloaf Key. You'll be only a 20-minute drive or Uber ride from Key West, and the commute is beautiful: sapphire blue waters on either side of the road. Best of all, you have restaurant and entertainment options within minutes of your front door. Take a leisurely stroll or bike ride to Keys favorite, South of Seven, for fresh seafood and live music. You’ll also be within a few minutes of the local favorites Square Grouper and Baby’s Coffee.

THE LIVING AREA & KITCHEN...

THE COMMODORE'S REFUGE was made for kicking back after a day on the water. Sink into the comfortable captain’s chairs or plush chairs in the living room, flip on YouTube TV, and let the evening come to you. The open concept design ensures everyone in your group feels connected, whether they are lounging on the couch or preparing a home-cooked meal.

The fully equipped kitchen has everything the group's chef could ask for, including a wine chiller to keep your sunset pours perfectly cold. Whether you're fueling up for a full day of fishing or lingering over a late morning breakfast, this kitchen is ready for whatever you have in mind.

Looking to get out of the sun and relax in the summertime breeze? Look no further than under your private tiki hut, located poolside with a private bar and flat-screen TV.

Serve up some friendly competition on the private pickleball court — a rare find in a Keys vacation rental and one the whole group will love. Pickleball equipment is provided, so just bring your competitive spirit and get ready for a match (or a rematch). It's the perfect way to start the morning before the day's adventures begin.

THE COMMODORE'S REFUGE offers waterfront views and generous dock space — with approximately 40 feet of dockage available to guests (the owner's boats rest on their own boat lift). You'll have everything you need to make the most of the surrounding waters. The expansive driveway also has ample room for boat trailers, an RV, or multiple vehicles, even with the owner's trailers in place.

THE ACCOMMODATIONS...

** Master Bedroom: King bed, large flat-screen TV, direct access to the screened in porch, full closets, and an en-suite bathroom.

** Bedroom 2: King bed, flat-screen TV, access to the hallway bathroom.

** Bedroom 3: Two pairs of twin bunk beds (4 twin beds total) and access to the full bathroom in the hall.

** Bedroom 4: Located Ground Level with a King bed, flat-screen TV, and en-suite bathroom.

** Last Key Realty vacation homes are rented to family groups and responsible adult groups only. Groups who expect they may cause after hours noise will not be a good fit for this home and should be aware they may incur additional penalties when in residence for violations. There will be a $500 charge for after-hours dispatch of our staff in response to calls resulting from verified noise complaints for violations by our guests in residence.
