Very good communication! The property host was very accommodating at stowing our luggage before check and after check out. The location was extremely accessible to all of the markets and easy to find. It was perfect for our group of 7. (4 adults and 3 children). Everyone had their own space with 3 bedrooms. The only suggestion I would leave for improvement is adding a luggage bench or rack since the bedrooms are on the smaller side. Also mirrors! There was a WC (toilet) and then on either side of the WC was a shower. One room was just a shower and the other room was a shower/sink/mirror and washer room. With a group of 7 sharing one mirror was a bit challenging. The property also provided hair dryers which was so nice!

The scents I encounter while walking through a city, the voices of people and the sounds of daily life, the sights that catch my eye, the seasonal air I feel on my skin, and the local cuisine I savor—I feel that it is precisely these experiences, perceived through all five senses, that remain as vivid memories of my travels, even as time passes.

That’s why I want everyone who visits Japan to do more than just “stay in Japan”—I want you to experience Japan through all five senses. It was with this hope in mind that we named our inn “SERENE Osaka.”

Even with your eyes closed, you’ll suddenly sense Japan through the scent of tatami mats and wood, the sounds drifting in from the streets, and the atmosphere of the season. We also place great importance on creating a uniquely Japanese sense of comfort through the lighting, materials, and design of our rooms.

We hope your stay here will be one where, even after your trip is over, you can recall not just the photos, but also the scents, sounds, and very atmosphere of Japan.

We chose the Nipponbashi area because it offers a great balance of convenience, local character, and easy access to many of Osaka’s best-known attractions.

Kuromon Market, Dotonbori, Namba, and Shinsaibashi are all within walking distance, making it easy to enjoy Osaka’s food, shopping, sightseeing, and entertainment without relying heavily on transportation.

At the same time, Nipponbashi is more than just a tourist area. Traditional culture, local shrines, everyday neighborhoods, and long-established streets can still be found nearby.

We wanted our guests to stay somewhere that allows them to enjoy both the excitement of central Osaka and a more authentic sense of the city’s daily life.

That combination of accessibility, culture, and local atmosphere is why we chose Nipponbashi as a home for SERENE Osaka.
