This remodeled 3 bedroom, 2 bath home with private pool is located in a gated beachfront community. Less than a one minute walk to the beach, you will find yourself in paradise. Air conditioning throughout the entire house, fully equipped kitchen, WiFi, cable tv, and BBQ. Located 45 minutes from the international airport in San Juan, and within a short driving distance from El Yunque Rainforest, Luquillo Beach, ferry to Culebra and Vieques and many more attractions.

Rick's house is beautiful, clean, up to date, and the same as the description. He is very thoughtful in taking care of his guests. His swimming pool is nice and clean, providing some pool toys, a cooler, and a BBQ in the pool shed. Sufficient beach and bath towels are A plus. Washing machines and dryers are great for travelers during their stays.We had a rental car, loved the Location, which is 50 minutes away from the city and the airport. It takes only 30 mins to the rainforest, 20 minutes coffee tour Hacienda Munos, and an additional 15-20 minutes to reach the pork highway. The gate community is safe, clean, and quiet. 5-10 minutes you can reach to stores and restaurants. We can enjoy the nature and activities near the Rick's house.

Returning Mission Team

This house was beautiful. We are a returning Mission Team and brought 62 people to serve in Humacao. We rented several houses in the neighborhood. Rick was super helpful and kind. He checked in and made sure we had all that we needed.

Beautiful home

Had an amazing time. Not crazy about the beach near the house however we took a couple boat trips and was taken to the most beautiful clear water beaches!! Been to PR 4 times and this has been my best trip. Pool was an additional bonus! Thank you!!

Humacao at Christmas

The place is immaculately clean. I know there were some reviews that didn't like the beach but we loved it, good waves to crash and play in for older kids. The host was very responsive to any questions. I appreciated that there were lots of beach towels and things like shampoo and laundry detergent and trashbags. We had a great stay and will definitely be back again.

Lovely little vacay home

The house is exactly as pictured. Very clean, spacious and great pool. The beach is good for a stroll but not best for swimming. A rental car is a must as it was pretty out of the way of most activities, however it was lovely to come home to a beautiful clean home at the end of a hot day. Very family friendly. We loved our stay.

Didn’t want to leave!

We had a fantastic stay! The check in process is easy, the drive from San Juan airport is beautiful and also simple. We really enjoyed being in a quieter part of the island and had a chance to see the East coast and eastern mountainous areas. Getting into El Yunque from here was an easy drive as well! We loved the quiet beach just steps from the front door, and venturing out to some of the coastal island beaches as well. We would stay here again, and plan for a longer stay any time!

Nice retreat

We enjoyed our recent week staying at this property. Our first trip to Puerto Rico, we decided to stay on the eastern side of the island to visit the main highlights - a few trips to San Juan, eastern beaches, rain forest and the bioluminescence bay. Pros - pool, well appointed, roomy, gated community, nearby city has all necessities and air conditioning for all rooms. Cons - none really for the property, just be prepared for nature sounds to come through the windows in the morning as soon as the sun comes up Note. The beach was not a swimming beach

Spring Break 2024

Rick was awesome!! He responded quickly and provided great instructions and recommendations. The house is fully equipped, peaceful, and exactly as the photos depicted. The beach is steps away from the front door and it’s absolutely beautiful.

Amazing House

This was an awesome house in a great neighborhood. Rick was really responsive and supported any needs we had. There was an outage with the wifi and he help troubleshoot, and a planned power outage extended he shared updates as he received them. Overall 10/10!

Lovely, well appointed home away from the hustle and bustle

My husband and two daughters (21 and 17) had a wonderful stay in this home. Everything was very clean and well stocked. The community is a mix of very well kept homes and some that appear to be abandoned, possibly from past hurricanes? But this home was very nice, updated and had a beautiful pool. It is 5 minutes from a Walmart and several fast food chains and even closer to several local restaurants. We picked this location to be away from the crowds and it was perfect for that purpose. Most of our trips were between 30-60 minutes away with activities including touring a coffee plantation, snorkeling on Icacos, a rain forest adventure in El Yunque and a bio bay tour in Fajardo. We really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and didn’t mind the drive each day for our adventures. It is noteworthy to mention that the beach here is beautiful, but not a white sandy beach for lounging or swimming. We didn’t plan to spend lots of time on the beach so that was not an issue for us. I highly recommend this home if you have similar interests in your vacation time.

Family vacation

My kids and I enjoyed our first family vacation in Puerto Rico and staying here was awesome. The house was beautiful and we enjoyed the quiet and safe neighborhood….we’d start and end the day in the fabulous pool and felt right at home. The host was amazing! Not only did he provide his gorgeous house, he also gave us restaurant recommendations and was available for any questions or concerns we had during our stay. We can’t wait to visit again!

Nice and comfortable place to stay for the most part.

The house was clean and comfortable. Communication with the owner was good. The only complaint I have is that the airconditioners may need to be serviced or replaced. It just didn't stay cool consistently in the house. We made sure the blinds were down and doors were always closed to prevent all areas of house from warming up. Other than that issue, everything else worked out fine.

Amazing stay, beautiful property, quiet neighborhood

We had a wonderful family vacation here! The house was beautiful and clean, had all the basic necessities and more. The neighborhood was quiet, and beach only steps away. As others have said, beach was not ideal for swimming but the beautiful pool made up for that. Rick was great to work with, we'd highly recommend his property!

Beautiful home and amazing vacation!

We had the fortunate benefit of Rick providing us an upgrade to his beachfront property located in the same subdivision. This house was more spacious and located right in front of the water. This beach is not for swimming or strolling along as it has large amounts of seaweed and other debris from the recent storms. But the view is incomparable. To hear the ocean sounds out the master bedroom porch all day was wonderful. The pool at the home was perfect and refreshing. Rick had provided all necessary items for days at the beach. This included water toys, chairs, towels, umbrella and coolers. We took advantage of the beautiful beaches located within a 40 minute drive. It was easy to fill up the cooler with ice and there were nearby grocery stores, Walmart and Ralph’s, as well as Walgreens. Just a short distance from the property going in either direction were wonderful local restaurants that we took advantage of for dinner. All of these restaurants were very casual in nature which allowed us to make a stop on our way home from our days out. Having a washer and dryer to wash the towels and suits at night was an added benefit. I would highly recommend this property, Rick was very responsive to any questions we had regarding recommendations. Puerto Rico is a beautiful area and there is so much to explore. We will be back.

An Awesome Vacation…

My family of 5 stayed at this vacation home. It’s a quiet, small gated community near the beach. You are a unable to swim or relax at the beach; however, the view is amazing. Some of the homes in the community were impacted by the hurricane a few year ago but this house is AMAZING!! This home is very clean and has everything you need. The pool and patio are very nice too. My kids enjoyed swimming and my mom enjoyed doing her yoga outside every morning (just don’t leave your shoes outside…the neighbors friendly dog enjoyed playing with them, lol). Rick, the owner, was very responsive and gave us suggestions for restaurants to visit during our stay. The location of the home is about 30-45 minutes away from beaches and attractions. There are a few restaurants in walking distance and a Walmart about 10 minutes away. My family and I would definitely stay here again.

Family vacation

The home is beautiful and the pictures of the home are accurate. There was clear thought put into ensuring renters have what they need to enjoy their stay (beach towels/chairs/rafts available). The rental unit is probably the nicest house in the neighborhood that has mixed-maintained homes. The owner was very responsive and had good restaurant recommendations.

Great stay!

This is a great property to stay at. It's a bit out of town which we liked but for someone who wants to be more "in the action" this would not be the property for you. It is located in a gated community, some of the houses are a bit run down but remember, this is PR and they have been through a lot and are still trying to recoup. The beach is not a swimming beach, you can somewhat walk on it but it should not be a main contender for why you are choosing this property. Rick was very helpful with any information we needed and also gave some suggestions and advice of what to see and where to go. The property is a little over an hour from the San Juan airport. This property is close to the rain forest, we had rain almost everyday we were there however the further we got from the property the nicer the weather seem to get. We did go during rain season (August). The pool and patio area are very nice and relaxing. It could use a few more lounge chairs around the pool. There are 2 lounge chairs and a large dinning table that has 8 chairs. Plenty of pool towels also. Overall, I would highly recommend Rick's property. We had a lovely time while there.

Great stay!

My family of 5 stayed here and the house was the cleanest house I have ever rented through VRBO. The pool was a hit with my kids and is bigger than it appeared in pics. The beach did have seaweed, but we were still able to swim in the ocean. It is a bit rough for younger children. There are several very nice beaches 15-20 minutes away. Conveniently located to stores and Rick was very helpful and quick to respond.

Great house but bad location

House and pool were fantastic. Gated community has mixture of other nice and mostly run down houses so it took away from the atmosphere. The main reason I chose this house was the closeness to the beach but the beach is not swim able. There was seaweed and trash all along the entire beach. Maybe it was the time of year we were there because I saw one review where they said they swam everyday at this beach. Finally, Rick was very welcoming and answered my questions promptly but were shocked and had no warning when the pool man walked into the yard while we were out there. We did enjoy our time at the house but the beach and “gated community” was a disappointment.

Lovely stay and an amazing host!

My family and I had an absolutely wonderful stay in Purto Rico thanks to Rick and his amazing hospitality. To say he thought of everything is an understatement. The house is just as perfect in real life as it is in the pictures. We were pleasantly surprised that master bedroom was very spacious and even bigger than what we expected. The pool was such a treat after a long day out exploring. Rick was very quick to respond to any questions we had and is very knowledgeable on the area. He gave great recommendations on places to eat etc. We will be back and would highly recommend Ricks home to anyone visiting Purto Rico. Thanks for a perfect vacation, Rick!

Nice place to relax

Overall this house is the perfect out of the way spot to have a nice time! When I go away for a vacation I want to see few people and hear less noise. Along with those things, this place will give you a comfortable environment to relax.
