Apartment Aurora is located directly on the beach of Velilla and can accommodate two people. It is equipped with every comfort so that you can spend relaxing holidays here. And if you do have to do something for work, you can do it quickly: A fiber optic connection for fast internet (300 MB) is installed in the apartment.

On the sheltered, open balcony, you can enjoy the beautiful sunny days and a wonderful view over the sea and mountains - the sea is right at your feet and maybe you also see some dolphins which are hunting here more often. Binoculars are ready for their observation.

If you want to book our apartment, our payment terms are as follows:
When booking, 25% of the total rental price will be charged as a deposit. The remaining amount is only due 14 days before arrival. In the event of cancellation, payments made will not be refunded.

Detailed description:

In apartment “Aurora” two persons can feel absolutely comfortable. It disposes of a romantic bedroom, a modern shower bathroom, a cosy living/dining room with modern kitchenette and an open balcony with stunning views to Sea and mountains.

For your comfort are at your disposal:

In the bedroom there are a Queen-Size-bed with two single mattresses and built-in wardrobes.

The shower bathroom is equipped with washing machine.

The modern kitchenette offers a glass ceramic hob with two cooking zones, fridge/freezer, small oven, microwave oven with Grill and Hot-Air Function, coffee machine, toaster and kettle. It is comfortably equipped with glasses, dishes, cutlery, pans and pots for 2 persons.

The living room invites you to relax with two cosy wing chairs with footstools and a reading lamp and flat screen-TV with German (Astra) and Spanish (TDT) TV programmes. The glass dinner table with two wicker chairs is prepared for having delicious lunches and dinners.

An air conditioning system (cold/warm) provides bedroom and living-room.

A fiber optic connection for fast internet (300 MB) is available and included in the price.

The open balcony offers a terrace table with two high-back chairs with adjustable backrests as well as awning.

Bed linen, towels and beach towels are provided. For the stay at the beach, we offer also two beach chairs and a beach umbrella.

The apartment building disposes also of a communal pool, open in July and August.

We provide our tenants a free parking space in the public underground car park (about 100 meters away).

The beach of Velilla, one of the longest of Almuñécar and beautifully grown with tropical palm trees. Restaurants, cafés, bars and charming chiringuitos are near-by and in walking distance to the apartment. To the old town of Almuñécar with its mourish castle and the famous white houses it only 20 min. by foot, with the car 5 min.

Worth knowing about Almuñécar, its history and its surroundings:

Although Almuñecar is a busy village, it still has the heart of an old Andalucian ‘pueblo’ with its narrow cobbled streets. The old center is full of tapas bars, bodegas, restaurants and interesting shops of all kinds.

On Friday, a street market (Mercadillo) takes place on the Paseo Blas Infante. Here clothing, shoes, cloths, pottery, fashion jewelery, bags and much more are offered.

The attractions of Almuñecar include the Phoenician fish-salt factory, Roman viaducts, the botanical garden Parque Majuelo (here every year in July, an international jazz festival takes place), the bird park Loro Sexi, the old Moorish castle San Miguel, various museums, the large marine aquarium and the water park Aquatropic (on the beach of Velilla).

Beautiful is also a trip into the surrounding of Almuñecar, the Valle Verde. Here tropical fruits (mangoes, avocados and chirimoyas) are cultivated. This road leads up to the mountains to Granada (a former historical goats path). Also worth is a visit to the beautiful lake in Bermejeles and to the old Moorish town of Alhama de Granada with its hot springs.

For golf lovers there is an 18-hole golf course in Motril.

The Sierra Nevada ski area, with more than 100 kilometers of slopes, is easily reached by car in just over an hour. It is open from early December to late April and offers slopes of all levels. Almost half of the slopes can be artificially snowed so that even in low-precipitation winter skiing is almost always possible.
