Very private villa just 4 miles away from La Fortuna downtown La Fortuna, Tropical Villa is the perfect place to discover the beautiful sceneries/attractions of Arenal Volcano/La Fortuna area. It features a 3 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, A/C units in each bedroom, fully equipped kitchen, private pool, high speed WiFi (200 Megabytes - excellent for work and travel), 3 smart TV, hammocks, BBQ area, green areas, beautiful views and gardens. Gated property which make it very private and secure.

On October 2022 we add a third room, another full bathroom, remodeled the pool and add a BBQ area, the idea was making Villa Tropical more comfortable for our guests, we really are in love of this property because it is very private, it is located far enough from downtown to relax but very close to all main attractions in La Fortuna/Arenal Volcano area.

The property is close to La Fortuna downtown, very private and quiet. Relax by the pool with a glass of wine or just a beer listening your favorite music, reading a book or just having a nice time with your love ones.

If you want to walk around just 15 minutes walk you will get to La Fortuna river where you can plan a picnic, swim in the river and even try some fishing, you will see plenty of fishes in the water.

***We have a sofa bed in the living room for 1 adult or 2 kids (No A/C in the living room, we provide a fan)

Fully equipped kitchen will be ready to prepare the best meals, our WiFi (200 Megabytes - Fiber optic service) excellent for working purposes and stream your favorites movies or TV shows.

Every day you will wake up with the sound of birds around the house, it is the paradise just 10 minutes drive from La Fortuna.

We offer FREE PLANNING SERVICE for your transportation and tours in La Fortuna/Arenal Volcano area, just let us know what you would like to do and we will help you to organize your vacations in our country with excellent rates and service. Once you book our property we will send you a detailed document with information about activities, transportation and more things about La Fortuna/Arenal Volcano area.
We have a small Tour Office named The House of Tours, which can organize any transportation from/to La Fortuna and any place in Costa Rica with bilingual drivers, comfortable units with A/C (Toyota Hi-Ace or Hyundai H1 2017/2018/2019 models) and excellent customer service. Also we can help you plan your tours in La Fortuna with the best rates, just let us know what you have on your mind and we will help you creating an itinerary during your stay.

My husband and I had a wonderful time with friends and our daughter during our stay at Villa Tropical! Our hosts were easy to reach and accommodating even during a power outage that affected the area. The house was clean and cozy and the gardens and pool were amazing! We couldn't get enough of the beautiful birds flitting in and out, enjoying the gorgeous flowers and watching the monkeys from the front yard. Thank you for a perfect refuge!!

The house was great and we would love to go back! We liked that it wasn't directly in La Fortuna, but was only a short drive to everything. The backyard was stunning and the host was very communicative. We booked horseback riding, ziplining and the mistico hanging bridges through him directly. It was very convenient!

Perfect location for Family stay in La Fortuna

Had an amazing time here. Kids loved the pool. Back patio was amazing. The place is super clean and the most comfy sheets in all the places we stayed in Costa Rica. Outdoor bathroom and outdoor shower was awesome. Can't say anything bad about this place. My family of 6 loved it.

The staff was very helpful with booking tours and answering questions for our trip. They were very great with helping me get a flower arrangement for my wife and having it wait6at the property when we arrived. We celebrated our 5th Anniversary hear. The villa is located conveniently to town. Lots of birds and catching the spunds of some howlers in the distance. There are some Giant Toads that will visit you on the back dek at night. They mind their own business tho.

Loved our stay. Close to town but not right in it so got to enjoy being in nature with monkeys playing in the tree across the street. The pool was great and house had everything we needed.

Great house only 10 mins from downtown!

We really enjoyed our stay in Villa Tropical! It was clean, check in process was easy with Mario meeting us at the property and showing us around the house. The backyard was wonderful and relaxing with the pool and lounge chairs. Beds were comfortable, we felt safe and saw lots of wild life in the yard. Frogs, birds, geckos, monkeys high up in the trees and a toucan! Was conveniently only 10 mins into town! Would definitely recommend.

La Fortuna Adventure

Our stay at this home was excellent. The host was very accommodating and the house and property were clean and well kept. The TV in the living area didn’t work which was a negative and none of the bathrooms on property had water that was very hot. Warm enough to shower but not hot by normal standards. Overall this property was great and I would certainly visit again!

We had a great time staying here. The pool is amazing and everything in the house was very clean. We felt safe and enjoyed how close we were to town. The kids ages 6 and 4 had a blast.

This house was my favorite stay in Costa Rica! It was so cozy and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The hosts were great to work with, it was clean, and had everything we needed like towels and wash clothes, soap, AC in every room was so nice for each person to decide how they wanted to sleep. My favorite part of this house was the pool and yard! It is 100% worth its stay! I would go there just to hang out in the yard. The lighting and secure fencing in the yard made us feel safe too! Would definitely come back! And send friends here.

Beautiful Home!

Can't say enough good things about this property. It was so nice to have separate rooms and beds for our family of five, and a pool to let the kids play in after long days of adventure. Extra clean, and the kitchen had all of the implements that we needed to make daily meals. Most impressively, the hosts were extremely responsive and had the best discounts in town for any possible activity that you could desire. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

This was a beautiful property. I loved the location and the peacefulness and beauty of the surrounding area. It was very clean, and functional. We LOVED the pool and patio area. The outdoor bathroom and shower was awesome to have. We were very pleased with this home and would definitely consider staying here again. Very short nice drive to downtown La Fortuna.

It was a great location close to town. It was easy to get to restaurants and nice to come home to a quiet place with a beautiful backyard and pool to enjoy. The host helped us arrange activities and gave us restaurant recommendations. I would definitely stay here again.

Wildlife oasis

The host was responsive and showed us the property at check in. The property was beautiful and we had all that we needed. Wildlife on the property with all the beautiful landscape. And you can walk down the dead end road to see many different bird species, howlers monkeys and a sloth.

We are Eder & Allen, two good friends that have more than 15 years of experience working in tourism in La Fortuna, we grew up in this little town and decided to work together creating Home Vacations La Fortuna on 2015, our main goal: Make things easier and simple to our guest.
On 2018 we create The House of Tours to provide our guests the best experiences during their stay in La Fortuna/Arenal Volcano area, we have the best tour and transportation services/rates in the area.
We manage/own about 30 properties in La Fortuna, we have a wide variety of options: private bedrooms, apartments, cabins, homes and villas up to 25 people some of them with private pools, hot tubs, nice opens areas, creeks nearby and more facilities. Over this years we have met lots of people which is one of the best things about working in tourism, every day we work very hard to make our guest happy so our business has been very successful thanks to the good reviews that we get.
Adding The House of Tours we hire ALONSO which is a expert tour guide and he works with us in the office so we can offer anything you need in La Fortuna, we have an office in downtown La Fortuna where we meet our guest so you don’t have to go around looking your property just get to our office and we will guide you to your place. Once you book with us you will have access to our Drive Carpet with Check In information, general information about La Fortuna, restaurants recommendations, amazing discounts in all activities, special packages, rent a car with Adobe (The best one in Costa Rica), shuttles services from anyplace in Costa Rica and more detailed information to make things easier for you; if you have questions of anything you need just send us a message a we will get back to you very soon.
