Excellent Stay and Wonderful Time

We have stayed in numerous VRBO rentals around Ely and in Northern Minnesota and all were excelent but this is the one we enjoyed the most. The house is great in all ways and the deck, yard, and firepit were perfect for us as was the location near the BWCA. Hosts were great to work with and we intend to visit again.

This is a lovely home, very well appointed for a VRBO. The photos and descriptions were accurately representative of the property. The outdoor spaces accommodated water front activities and campfires and camping opportunities.It afforded a very special time for three generations of family!

Very happy with our stay! Perfect back deck view of the peaceful, quiet lake. Well stocked & organized kitchen. Kids loved swimming in the lake and canoeing. Saw loons, eagles & a black bear near the property. Close to town & tourist attractions, yet far enough away to feel like a remote getaway. Had a great week!

The Boundary Waters Fall Lake home proved to be a wonderful vacation home for my family. It was big, beautiful, and stocked with everything we needed to make our visit great. Kial was a delight to visit with and responded quickly to all my inquiries. The view was perfect and being able to catch fish right from the dock was so fun.

Beautiful Lake Home

We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful lake home (can't really think of it as a "cabin")! The photos in the listing are good, but don't totally capture the spaciousness, views, and attention to detail here. There are so many indoor and outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy! We rarely heard any neighbors and really couldn't see them at all. We also appreciated all of the storage available (huge closet inside the main door, great pantry area, cabinets in the bathrooms, etc.) unlike most rental properties.

This is a beautiful, well-maintained home that far exceeded our expectations. The location was ideal for accessing the BWCA and Fall Lake fishing spots. We were very pleased with the layout of the home. The screen porch and expansive deck were favorite spaces.

Great family get-away

We had a great 4-generation get-together here, and it was everything we were looking for--a nice location with woods and water, close enough to Ely and to a wide variety of outdoor activities. The hosts made everything easy for us and were responsive to our questions.

Beautiful cabin on Fall Lake

This cabin is absolutely beautiful and sits directly on Fall Lake which is part of the BWCA! The cabin was very clean and well maintained. The deck off the back had direct views of the lake. The owner was communicative during our entire visit and helped restore the internet when a lightning strike hit the dish. We launched our kayaks from the dock and fished every day. There was even a fish cleaning station down by the water. I would highly recommend this cabin if you’re looking to take a trip to Ely, MN which the cabin is just a short drive into town.

Best lake experience ever

This is an absolutely wonderful house, with spectacular views and amenities. Dock and beach area are very nice, fire pit area was perfect and the overall feeling of the property is serene and beautiful. Best lake house we’ve ever rented.

Perfect getaway!

Our family of four had a nice relaxing time during our week long stay. Great location close to local shops and restaurants. House was just as described and all we needed to bring was clothing and food. Beautiful location. Highly recommend.

Quiet BWCA getaway with all the comforts of home. Great fishing and swimming. Room to spread out and relax. Wonderful views! We had a blast and will be back.

The Boundaries Lake Home welcomes you and your family to a truly unique and wonderful vacation. The 3 bedroom, 2 bath lake home has 2 floors for you and your family to spread out. With a full kitchen and gas grill, you can choose to do all of your cooking at the cabin.. The sunroom, deck, and large screened-in porch allow you amazing views of the lake while dining, reading a book or playing a game of cards. Fish from the dock or sit around the campfire down by the water's edge. A boat landing nearby allows you to bring your own boat.

We believe our cabin is unique in that you and your friends and family have direct access into the Boundary Waters right from our dock. Get your permit, gather your gear and supplies and put in from the dock. Then after a few days experiencing the solitude and pristine beauty of the Boundary Waters, return to the cabin for hot showers, soft beds and time to reminisce about the trip you just had. While you're doing that, plan next year's trip back to Ely and the BWCAW!
