Discover Rustic Mountain Cabin- a beautifully remodeled mountain cabin perfectly located off the Chief Joseph Scenic Byway, just minutes from Cooke City, Montana and the Northeast Entrance of Yellowstone National Park. Enjoy easy access to world-class wildlife viewing, hiking, fly-fishing, and the breathtaking Beartooth Highway, often called the most beautiful drive in America.
This stylish and welcoming 2 bedroom, 1-bathroom cabin combines modern amenities with rustic charm — perfect for families, wildlife enthusiasts, and outdoor adventurers. The high-end kitchen, large dining table and bar seating makes meal prep and enjoyment a breeze. The living room features a stone wood-burning fireplace, smart tv. comfortable seating and additional sleeping space with a sofa sleeper and built in banquette seating. Newly added Starlink Internet will keep you connected while surrounded by nature. The sunroom is a guest favorite with dining area, comfortable recliners and a ping pong table for a little friendly competition. A full size washer and dryer add to the convenience of your stay.
Bedroom 1 features a king size bed and ample space to relax. Bedroom 2 with two twin beds feels like going to summer camp. The bathroom features a step in shower and large vanity.
Outside you can enjoy cooking up dinner on the outdoor grill, eating meals outside on the picnic table, or gathering around the fire pit to roast up s'mores! This is one of the most sought-after locations for exploring Yellowstone's Lamar Valley, known for wolves, bison, bears, and elk.

Amazing Experience

For just a few short days, we spent in the cabin, it was perfect. Great cabin, very clean, easy, check-in, friendly staff. Had a wonderful experience and would definitely book again.

Perfect snowmobile getaway

Amazing spot next to the bear tooth mountains. Porch area perfect for hanging and drying gear. Beds were comfy and plenty of blankets. Had a 24’ trailer and driveway had plenty of room

Great getaway

Our stay at this cabin was great. The sun room was a perfect place for us to play games and eat meals together. We hoped to use the fire pit one night, but the mosquitos were pretty bad so we decided otherwise. My husband and teens enjoyed being able to walk a short distance to access the river and fish.

2025 Snowmobiling Trip

Great location for trailering up and snowmobiling daily at Top of the World. Ideally, a couple more beds or bunks to sleep group of guys on sledding trip. Maybe a TV upgrade. Unable to find remote for volume. Super nice place with lots of room for hanging out.

Yellowstone vacation

Nice cabin and good area. Wi-Fi didn’t work well and could not make calls out so hard to communicate with owner and family back home. Water pressure in kitchen sink was really low. Washer would not work unless you used it on clean cycle only (all other options would not produce hardly any water). I notified owner and was told a plumber would come by but that never happened. Beautiful area with great scenery and nearby river (but no access to river without trespassing).

Good Place to Stay

Beautiful location and home. Ping pong table was perfect, house looks great on the inside and out. More information could have been provided related to finding garbage at end of stay, internet very slow, and starting the washer for towels should be removed from rules of staying. More instructions on how to find the River would have helped as well. Overall very enjoyable experience.

Loved it!

Our family really enjoyed our stay in this cabin. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed… and more! We really enjoyed watching the wildlife from the windows. Highly recommended!

Great cabin!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay! This cabin is perfect for being cozy in the mountains! The kitchen is a dream and the living room and sunroom are great places to lounge around. Would definitely stay again!

Close to Yellowstone

Great modern cabin located near the east entrance to Yellowstone. Scenic drive to Yellowstone - we saw a large moose approximately 20 yards off highway about 10 minutes from our cabin. While cabin is in a little subdivision with a 10-12 other cabins it was very quiet. It is not right on the river and does not have river access but still has the secluded, forest vibe. Only thing that would have made the location any better is if the southeast loop in Yellowstone would have been open. Would definitely recommend!
