Amazing week in corolla at four seasons

Home is clean, well stocked, in good working order, close to ocean and amenities and very comfortable. Our family ( 4 adults and 6 kids ranging from 1 yo to 14) would return in a heartbeat.

Perfect getaway

As we were making plans for our trip we started looking at everything Corolla had to offer and we were excited. We never left the Corolla resort (except to food lion and farmers market). We walked everywhere and it was awesome. The kids absolutely loved the pool and the house was a 3 or 4 minute walk to beach and playgrounds. We would totally stay in this house again.

Great home, Great location!

Big, beautiful home with nice layout. VERY close to the beach! Great community amenities and we felt safe while we were there. Would DEFINITELY rent this home again. Also, the owner’s communication was phenomenal, even so far as recommending local photographers to take our pictures on the beach, when I asked.

New construction, great amenities

Our family really enjoyed Four Seasons. It had everything we needed including a hot tub, pool, spices, good beds, and plenty of space. Will definitely be booking this for next year!

Just fabulous!

Spotless upon arrival...bright, fully updated, great open kitchen w/high end appliances. Porches on both front & back, guaranteeing choice of sun/shade throughout daytime. Been coming to CL for years & best home we’ve stayed in...private pool was great...will stay here in 2021 hopefully!

We were very pleased with this property. The kitchen was amazing! Loved the pool! Had a wonderful vacation.....until the last night. Knowing Corolla Light is a gated community, we felt very safe! However, a bicycle was stolen from our property! Kind of a bad way to end a vacation. Is security not as prevalent in the off season? So disappointing!

Loved this house!

Two families consisting of 4 adults, 1 preschooler, 1 pre-teen and 5 teenagers. Loved the wide open top floor with kitchen/dining/great room, loved the private pool and hot tub, loved the super-close location to the beach and amenities. The kitchen was fully stocked, didn’t end up needing any of the “necessities” I have learned to bring over the years to cook in our beach rentals. The two bunk rooms are perfect for younger kids but we realized this week that our teens are getting too tall for them. Corolla Light is my favorite place to stay because of its many amenities. It was a fantastic house, a lovely stay and we were sad to leave it all behind!

Phenomenal!

Clean, bright, well decorated. Well equipped. Pool was perfect for adults and for toddlers. Hot tub came in handy too. Did some serious cooking and kitchen and equipment did not disappoint. Will be back!

Wonderful Stay in Corolla Light Resort

We thoroughly enjoyed our week stay at Four Seasons. You could tell the home had some great remodeling done. Great spacious kitchen with all new appliances. Top floor has views of the ocean. Ocean was just a few hundred feet from this house. Off road beaches were a couple miles to the north where the wild horses roam. The county owns a beautiful park up the road within walking distance right on the Currituck Sound. There you have the lighthouse, a historic home called the Whalehead Club, a wildlife museum, and the village of Corolla. The beaches near this home are some of the widest on the OBX. The resort has 3 oceanfront pools and they operate an indoor facility with workout facilities and equipment, indoor tennis courts, and a indoor huge swimming pool. We were never bored. Hiking/walking/biking trails throughout.

Great Family Home

We have stayed in this location before but this property has been recently updated and the new updates are fantastic. Our family enjoyed the convenience of the Corolla Light location and the amenities of the house. Everything was clean and in good repair on our visit and the home owners have put a lot of effort into making the house a very comfortable place for a family to stay. I love the changes to the kitchen. The pool was perfect for the kids and the home is tastefully designed and well taken care of. We will definitely consider staying here again on our next visit. The house is located a short distance from the beach path, so it is easy to walk. Corolla Light is an excellent place for families. Our children enjoyed the basketball tournaments and t-shirt making events that the community was hosting. It is also very safe to ride your bikes.

Beautiful home! Had a great vacation!

The Four Seasons cottage is great. The upper level kitchen, dining room, and living room area were recently remodeled. I have kitchen-envy!!! It's beautiful and fully stocked with everything you could want in a home away from home. There were two families on our vacation. The bedrooms and bathrooms are well appointed and comfortable for all of us. The bunk room was perfect for our younger kids (8, 10-year olds) and the pyramid room worked great for our teenagers. The cottage was a short walk to the beach and the playground, and we loved the pool. We can't wait to go back to the Four Seasons next year!

Wonderful home away from home

The "Four Seasons" was just what we were looking for. It's a modern, well-maintained, cozy home within a short walk of the ocean. The pool is perfect for small kids (3-year-old granddaughter loved it) and for cooling off after a day in the sun. We highly recommend.

Happy beach bum

A wonderful week spent with family and friends at the Four Seasons! Clean, comfortable, very accommodating atmosphere. Pool was a great hit with 5 boys as well as all the events in the resort. Very close to the beach, lighthouse, and walking/bike path. We highly recommend this house, just like home.

Four Seasons Family Vacation

I cannot begin to express fully the amazing vacation we had during our stay at the Four Seasons home in Corolla! The house was clean and welcoming and exceeded all of our expectations. It felt like home from the moment we entered its door. The very last thing my daughter said as we tearfully had to leave for home was "I'm going to miss this house". I want to express our heartfelt gratitude to Kevin and Leslie for giving us the most wonderful family vacation, one we will never forget and always look back on with joy! Thank you so very much! We cannot wait to come back.

We stayed in this home the week of Sept. 11-18, 2011. The location of this home within the resort is wonderful (ocean views - distance to the boardwalk and a glimpse of the lighthouse). The home itself is showing some signs of it's age (according to the owner's it was one of the first homes to be built in Corolla Light - 1985). The second level has some nice upgrades but the living area of the home could use some sprucing up (the carpet and vinyl flooring in the kitchen). We also had 3 small children (all under 3 yrs.) and it was a constant concern about the railing on the top floor (the rails are spaced far enough apart so that an unsupervised toddler could slip through). We have been vacationing at the Outer Banks for at least 25 years and this was my first experience using VRBO. One of the reasons we chose this home was the claim of the property manager that we would be staying in the cleanest and best maintained properties on the Outer Banks - SHOULD HAVE KNOWN!! This home was not the worst one we have arrived at, BUT BY NO MEANS was it the cleanest and the bed linens that were to be provided - well that's was a whole different matter.

we stayed here on vacation from may 22nd to may30,2010. this house is amazing. the pictures do not do the house justice! it was so much better than we expected. working with leslie thru her rental co was simple and easy- no hassel. this home is convient to everything in the resort- you will love all corolla light has to offer. the house has everything you need and then some- you will not be dissapointed. we had 11 people total ags 5-75 and all were happy. we highly recommend you try this place. donna russell
