4 bedroom/2 full bath country home on 4 acres with mini farm located in Pembroke VA, this is just about 25 minutes outside of Blacksburg Va. (Virginia Tech Campus). Easy access to property, by route 460.
You are footsteps away from great fishing on the New River, rolling mountains, riverbank access, creeks, waterfalls and good hiking trails!

4-bedroom 2 full baths country home which includes 1 king, 3 queen beds and 1 twin bed, 1 roll away twin beds and 1 porta crib if needed.

Private HOT TUB ON SITE (no extra use fee)

All linens, lots of extra blankets, towels, Bathing towels, and hot tub/ beach towels provided.


All kinds of cooking pots, utensils, pans, keurig, baking items, air fryer, small crock pot.

House is located on 4 acres. The neighboring houses are not on top of you. There is plenty of space, and don't worry if your dogs bark, you're in the country!
You are welcome to venture out on all the property! Property is completely fenced in. The property is divided up into yard space, a completely fenced dog lot space with gate, and a field with several gates. The goats are super friendly! Newest to the farm are 3 ponies! please lock gate.

Goat Crossing is 1 of 2 properties that I own and rent out; the houses are each located less than 1 mile away. The 2nd property is called The Pit Stop. (4203248) I mention this if you are traveling with a large group and need extra spaces.

When you are ready to instant book, I do allow 3 payments prior to check in. So upfront total cost is not due at instant book!

Great farm property

Had a wonderful stay. Nancy was most accommodating and extremely responsive to messages. House very pleasant. Was most entertaining to sit in the evenings on the porch and watch the goats battle for sleeping places.As an aside, as it is a farm, there are outdoor cats so if you have a cat allergy just be aware. They do not come in the house at all.

Family trip for VT Football game

Great stay at Goat Crossing! Easy check in and check out. Great communication with Nancy. Hot tub worked well as did everything at the home. Fun to be out in nature with the animals. The goats and ponies are adorable.

Beautiful Place to Stay for Our First Virginia Tech Football Game!

We had a family trip to our first Virginia Tech Football game so we chose this place 20 minutes away and such a beautiful drive this time of year with all the Autumn colors. Linda thank you from the bottom of our hearts for hosting us you have a very unique, peaceful, and special place. The farm and all the animals are just what we needed to relax away from all the city noises. 5 STARS all around!!!

Had a Great Time

Very nice mini-farm property. Loved the Disney themed decorations. Ponies, Goats, and Chickens for entertainment. Host was great and we would definitely stay again.

Fun Farm house close to Tech

Nancy Lynn was amazing with her communication and help/ working with us. She was so easy to work with! Great Hostess. The house is about 20 min from Va tech, and was a great adventure for our student and our family. Goats, chickens, Ponies, and a zipline were all greatly enjoyed. Beds were great, and house well stocked. Will likely stay again!

Adorable Farm Cottage in the Mountains

This cozy farm home was perfect for our 2 sets of family with our daughters spending the Tech family weekend with us. We enjoyed all the amenities including a firepit very night and use of the hottub. The girls also enjoyed playing with all the farm animals. Nancy was a lovely host and was super attentive to all our needs. Will definitely be using this property again.

Great day!

Nancy, the hostess, was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. Check in and check out was extremely easy. We were visiting with a group of eight of us for a Virginia Tech football game and it worked out perfectly!

Nice Place to Get Away

We stayed at the farm house for our son's graduation at VT. Nice accommodations, and we had everything we needed for a long weekend. Owner provided extra treats to make our stay very enjoyable. Being able to bring our dog was a plus as well. Would definitely stay again.

Great Stay!

This is the second time we've stayed at this property, and it did not disappoint! Just 20 minutes from VT, but a world away, if you are a nature lover this place is for you. The house is comfortable and well appointed, well stocked, and clean. Plenty of room for our group. Beds and furniture are comfortable, and the the hot tub is fantastic. And then you have the animals- goats, chickens, ducks and 3 cute ponies, whom my daughter got to know well. The teens and college students loved running around and interacting with the animals and cruising down the zip line, while us older folks enjoyed coffee or an adult beverage or two on the front porch and the great view. The hosts are supe kind and responsive. We will be back!

Great place for a family weekend!

We had a great time here! The kids loved seeing all the animals and playing on the zipline. The back patio and hot tub were really nice and relaxing. Nancy was super friendly and easy to communicate with. We would stay again!

Fun farmhouse in the country!

It was a great stop-over point from our return from the beach. Perfect space for multiple families with kids. They really enjoyed feeding the goats, riding the pony and zipline! Nancy is very accomodating and friendly. A great hot-tub for the adults after kids go to bed!

Perfect!

Our family stayed at this house for our daughter's graduation from Tech. There was plenty of space, inside and out for our family to enjoy. A few other families joined us one afternoon for a grad celebration. Everyone enjoyed all of the outdoor sitting areas, visiting with the goats, kitties & other critters, and testing out the zipline! The kids spent a day at the cascades. Nancy and David are amazing hosts, we felt like we were staying at a relative's place. We are planning on coming back for our neice's graduation and maybe a few football games! Thank you so much!

Goat Heaven!

Very clean and comfortable. We were three families and felt very comfortable here. Plenty of space for everyone and quiet spacious neighborhood. The backyard was a wonderful covered space with a hot tub and gas fireplace. We were blessed with the birth of two baby goats and they were adorable! Nice quiet place for our Hokies to decompress and reconnect with the parents.

Wonderful stay in a country/farm setting

We were in the area for a local family reunion and Nancy’s place was a perfect overnite stay for our four families with 4 young kids. We had plenty of room including space for local relatives to visit us in the evening. The kids loved feeding the goats and the closed off front porch was a perfect area for them to play with minimum supervision. Nancy responded to our needs and questions quickly and was a perfect host. Would definitely stay again for future reunions or visits to the area!

Memorable getaway

Our family had the most wonderful time at Goat Crossing. Nancy was so kind and welcoming and our kids loved learning all about the animals. There was plenty of room for our family to spread out in the house and to enjoy meals together in the kitchen. We enjoyed the nearby hike to The Cascade waterfall!

Great stay at Goat’s Crossing

Goat’s Crossing was an amazing stay! We stayed here one night to break up a drive, and it was wonderful. We were greeted by two beautiful willow trees when we pulled into the drive. The house has everything we needed and more! We didn’t need to put anyone upstairs, and all the beds on the main floor were really comfortable ! We all slept so well. My kids and I adored the cats that live on property. The goats were so fun to watch too! My kids played outside well into the night because there was so much to do Nancy was a pleasure to communicate with, and she answered all of our questions about her animals. Her house exceeded our expectations. My kids are already asking to go back!

Awesome Farmhouse

Great quite location only 20 min from Blacksburg. Close to cascades falls and mountain lake resort. Farm animals in your backyard were a bonus. Couldn’t have asked for a better host than Nancy and her husband.

Amazing stay

My friends and I stayed here for New Years weekend. Everything was great! It was clean, had extra towels and blankets if needed. We enjoyed the hot tub. Nancy was great at communicating with us when we had question. We brought our dogs with us and they also loved it, fenced backyard.
