Pleasant 2 nights in Avignon
Apartment was enjoyable and exceeded expectations for quality and nice character of the apartment, including the AC which worked well. Value was good and would stay there again. That said there were a few items future travelers might be aware of: 1) when we booked the listing stated that the deal came with a parking spot. This was not true and city parking is 10 minute walk at 20 euro/night; 2) the key pickup and drop-off are a bit awkward and at a location that is 10 minute walk from the apartment and not easily accessible by car because it is inside the walled city with no parking nearby; 3) there were no paper towels or napkins provided and only one small kitchen towel so be prepared for that; 4) there was no bathroom soap and only a couple of drops of dishwashing soap available; 5) although nespresso machine is available there is no capsules or other coffee available so BYO; 6) three of us could not get stove top to work even after requesting assitance. Those were relatively small inconveniences for the pleasure of being centrally located in a nice place.
