Cozy and relaxing, on a private drive, all on one floor, right on the lake with private access to it.

Brand new 2020 build with all new and modern amenities. Fenced in yard, lake style decor all mainly from Old Forge and local shops. You won't want to leave during your stay!

-Kitchen: Fully stocked for all cooking, meal prep and baking needs. Keurig (k-cups and all add ins), Regular Coffee pot and folgers. Kettle and tea.

-Bathroom: All necessities plus things that could have been left at home. First aid kit.

Sleeping: All linens are provided.
-Queen Bedroom: Flat screen TV, dresser.
-Bunkbed room with dresser and closet.
-Large sofa bed in the living room.


Walk around the lake (2.3 mi) and take in the sunset from inside or out! The view is nothing short of breath-taking. Bald eagles like to nest here and if you're lucky you'll see one.

Bass, perch and trout fish are plentiful and the lake is great for swimming. You'll have it all to yourself to enjoy with family or friends!

*Please note the kayaks will have to be carried down steep stairs or a bank to get to the dock to put them in the water.

5.5 miles to town for groceries, restaurants, shops and Colgate University.

You can venture out to nearby breweries, wineries or even a distillery. Choose from a pub style or fancy restaurant in town, or just get a pizza delivered. Nearby Ray Brothers BBQ is the best BBQ in the state!

Visit family friendly Critz Farms to do blueberry, pumpkin or apple picking! Take a hike at Root Glen. Visit with the wolves at nearby Wolf Mountain Nature Center. Take a trip to lake Ontario for a fishing charter of a lifetime! (contact us for more information). There is so much more to explore and it's all in the Welcome Guide book you can enjoy reading with your coffee or tea.

In the winter time you can enjoy outside next to the propane fire, ice fish, cross country ski or ice skate!

*In the winter there is a plow that maintains our short road and driveway if it snows 2+ inches. All season tires are recommended.

For your safety and security of the property, the home has outside video and audio recording cameras along with carbon monoxide detectors and fire extinguishers.

Start packing your bags, all you'll need to bring additionally is your food, loved ones and fishing gear!

Please wash, dry, and put away all kitchen items used. Please remove shoes. No one is allowed on the boats at any time. Pick up after your dog.
Quiet time 10pm-7am. Please stay off the raised septic in the back of the house. No fires left unattended and must be extinguished with water.
Please leave beds unmade and used towels in the bathtub so we know what to wash. Take all trash to the shed and place in barrel.

Great place to kick off summer!

This was the perfect place to relax on the water! Everything you need to enjoy the lake life- kayaks, tubes, a paddle board, and a clean swimming area; fire pit and fire table; plenty of seating on the porch, deck, and dock; and gorgeous, private views. The house is very clean, furniture as described, and comfortable for our family of 4. Close enough to Hamilton NY, but still feel like you get away from it all. We hope to be back, thank you for letting us stay!

beautiful lakeside property

This home is lovely, very picturesque setting with a view of the lake from the lovely fenced in back yard. The home is beautifully decorated, with a nod to the lovely lakeside setting, kitchen was well equipped, the beds were extra comfortable. The outdoor area is perfect for entertaining, with plenty of seating in the back patio as well as closer to the lake. Sarah was a wonderful host. Would highly recommend this home! Just what we were looking for, and only 10 minutes from the Colgate campus.

Family friendly with beautiful lake views

Adorable, well stocked, clean home with gorgeous lake views and a great family friendly lay out. Sarah the owner was very responsive, helpful and left so many thoughtful items throughout the house like toiletries and a welcome gift. We loved the fenced in yard for safety and enjoyed the firepit, fire table, outdoor griddle for breakfast (!), kayaks and paddle board. A great kitchen to cook in and clean bathroom. Just wonderful overall. Will absolutely be back for more great family memories. Thanks Sarah!

Great Lake House

This cozy lake house was the perfect place to stay for my daughter and me in the lead up to dropping her off at college. Peaceful, great views, and close to everything we needed - 15 min from Colgate and Hamilton NY with grocery stores and everything you might need. Also close to antique centers - Bouckville and Madison + Barbeque and live music at Ray Bros. The house is best for a couple or small family as the second bedroom has twin bunk beds. And the owners have stocked the house with board games, stuff for tubing and if you run out of reading material, plenty of books to chose from for relaxing reading on the deck. I think we hit amazingly perfect August weather - even cool one day, but the ceiling fans keep things at a good temperature on warmer days. I am looking forward to a return visit.

Great little place to stay. Cute and cozy!

Was a very pleasant experience overall. We thought from the picture of the bunk bed in the listing it was a double bottom bunk that would sleep two people. We should have clarified this beforehand as it was only for a single adult. Location would’ve been amazing but a little tough during a snow storm. We would definitely stay again though just at a different time of the year.

Beautiful home!

The house was gorgeous. Everything is new, clean, and very tastefully decorated. The view of the lake was beautiful. Everything was very comfortable. It was nice and close to Colgate, where my son goes to school. Would def stay here again.

Charming Lake house

We came up for a weekend visit with our duaghter, who attends nearby Colgate U. The house is about a 10-minute drive through the country and is situated right on top of the Lebanon Reservoir. The home is quaint and tidy, with a well-apportioned kitchen. The reservoir is beautiful and there's a small dock to fish from. The lower deck has both a grill and a griddle, which we really enjoyed using for breakfast!

Wonderfully Relaxing Lake Vacation!

Sarah & Matt's home is absolutely lovely! Very clean, well stocked with plenty of cookware & utensils and plenty of comfortable places to sit and hang out. The covered porch is probably the best seat with the view of the lake and the propane fireplace at the ready to warm up a chilly night. We entertained my family who live nearby for a cookout and the only drawback was not having a picnic table outside to seat everyone. Other than that, the place is perfect for a small family as it has a queen size bed in one room and a bunk bed in the other. We thoroughly took advantage of the lake by bringing our own floats and using the kayaks provided. Perfect sized lake for paddling around and cooling off on a hot day. We even walked around the lake everyday to catch all of the early morning animal and bird activity as well as get some exercise in. Highly recommend this lovely, peaceful home. You won't be disappointed! Thank you again for a wonderful week we won't soon forget!!!

Perfect lake vacation

This lake house was perfect for our family of four. Tremendously clean and perfect spot for fishing, sitting outside by the fire and playing games. Close to the town of Hamilton which was a great little town with lots of restaurants and farmer’s markets. Highly recommend to anyone
