Beautiful, modern 2/2 19th fl condo with secure access and 24/7 professional front desk security. Walking distance to grocery, banks, universities, embassies, shopping mall and Barrios Escalante & California famous for its many restaurants & night life. Modern furniture and equipment throughout. Hi-speed fiber optic internet over 100/12 Mbps. The living room is bright, has a full-size sofa bed and gives access to 19th fl balcony where you can enjoy beautiful mountain and city views. On-site Property Manager to assist you before and during your stay.

The space
Condo is on the 19th floor of professionally-managed, family-oriented, modern high-rise condominium community in one of the best areas of San Jose. High Speed Fiber Optic Internet, over 100/12 Mbps. There are 2 good size bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, each with a "rainfall" shower. The master bedroom comes with king-size bed, air conditioning, ceiling fan and private bathroom and walk-in closet with PC-sized safe and gives access to 2nd balcony. For the 2nd bedroom, guests have the option of either (i) 1 king-size bed (king conversion) or (ii) 2 twin-size beds. Includes ceiling fan and large closet. The living room has sofa bed, pop-up laptop-friendly coffee table, ceiling fan and balcony access. Living room balcony has chairs and small table to enjoy incredible valley and mountain views. Kitchen is fully equipped to make a gourmet meal. Personal amenities include hair dryer, hair straightener, curling iron, clothes iron and steamer. Shampoo and body wash dispensers in each of the 2 showers. Three (3) TV’s, each with premium cable (HBO) and Amazon Fire Stick. Living room TV 55” QLED 4k Smart. Parking for one car on 1st floor of connected secure parking garage. Condo not suitable for the use of wheelchairs, due to space limitations. No children 12 years or younger, due to two 19th floor open-air balconies. No pets. Nightly room rate reflects price for up to 4 adult guests with no extra per person charges, which is great value. 3-night minimum stay. Weekly/Monthly discounts. On-site property manager provides assistance/recommendations before and during stay.

Guest access
Full access to condo unit. For common areas, condo rules allow only registered guests (no visitors) at tempered pool and gym areas. North and South (BBQ) lounges available for guests with more than 30 days stay.

Other things to note
The Condominium Community, including my guests, are required to abide by the Condo's Board of Directors and Administration rules. Rules will be included with the short-term rental agreement. Condo Association rules require me to provide them at least 3-business day advance notice of my guest(s) arrival, with required quick-to-complete (i) completed & signed short-term rental agreement, (ii) front desk/security form and (iii) copy of passport picture page of all guests. Rental agreement and security form provided at the time of confirmed booking. Please note that I am not able to accept any bookings within three (3) days of arrival, since I am required to provide my condo association three (3) day advance notice of arrival.

Great place to stay. The apartment was clean and spacious and sitting on the balcony watching the city and mountains was a great way to end the day. Plenty of restaurants and grocery stores within easy walking distance.

Great place to stay! Had everything we needed, very clean, grocery store with in walking distance. Super easy to communicate with the owner and the property manager. They even checked on us during our stay!

Lovely location in San Jose

Very nice condo in a nice area of San Jose. Easy walking to the main sights in the downtown and very close to Barrio Escalante for terrific meals out. Safe, clean and highly responsive. Great stay!

First time in Costa Rica

We could not have been more pleased. Communications with owner and on site representative were prompt. Location is convenient to shopping and Barrio Escalante with a convenient Uber pickup location. Amenities were very nice. Building is quiet and secure with a beautiful Mountain View.

The pictures and amenities listed were accurate. Everything was great. Loved the rain head shower. View was excellent! Only negative is the chairs screech on the floor in the kitchen when moving them.

Great Stay!

I had an amazing stay thanks to Ed and his property manager, Javier! From start to finish, their communication was excellent—they were always quick to respond and incredibly helpful, making the whole experience smooth and stress-free. The apartment itself was absolutely perfect—spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and even better than the pictures. It had everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The location was ideal, and it’s clear that Ed and Javier go above and beyond to ensure their guests feel welcome and cared for. I can’t recommend this place enough and would gladly stay here again. Thank you, Ed and Javier, for your hospitality and for making my trip so memorable!

The most amazing condo ever

I stay in rental condos all over the world 200 times a year this by far is the best appointed and managed property ever! The owner is extremely attentive and the property manager goes above and beyond what I have ever experienced before. The location is in the most upscale community in San Jose, the gym is fully equipped I have been in, the pool is heated which is necessary in SJ. There are many charging cords, smart tv's, great Wi-Fi

Stunning Property

Absolutely fabulous property. Everything you need to feel right at home. Javier met us at the reception desk and walked us through the condo and explained how everything worked. He gave us great recommendations on activities to do and sights to see and every one of them was spot on! The restaurants he suggested were all wonderful. The property was white-glove clean, the beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchen has everything you could need. The views from the balcony are amazing. I’ll definitely stay here next time I’m in San Jose and recommend it to family and friends.

Oasis of peace and tranquility

Spectacular view of mountains surrounding San Jose from every room. A great apartment- very comfortable, with dishwasher, clothes washer/dryer. All furniture is new and well-cared for. Apartment very clean. Don't miss the National Theater, Jade Museum, National Museum of Costa Rica - all a very short taxi ride away (around $3). We particularly enjoyed dinners ordered in from Pane e Vino and Curry Kingdom. Our heartfelt thanks to the owner for making arrangements for us on very short notice, and to Javier, who was so helpful to us throughout our entire stay.

Perfect location in San Jose

If you are looking for the perfect location in San Jose Costa Rica this is it! You are a 20 minute walk from downtown and the markets. A 10 minute walk from the Barrio Escalante which is an area with dozens of great restaurants. The condo itself is on the 19th floor with a great view. It is clean and has everything you will need. The condo owner, Ed, and also the manager, Javier, will text you periodically to see if you need anything. I will highly recommend this place to stay when you visit San Jose!

Exceptional in every way

This condo is literally perfect. It is an understatement to say it is immaculate. I always say I leave a place better than I found it but that may not be possible here. The accommodations are just wonderful - clean, comfortable rooms, modern city living with all the comforts (including two balconies with a stunning view of the city and mountains, high speed internet, pool and fitness level). If that were all, it would be five stars but the communication, care and concern from the owner and property manager were second to none. I truly felt like a special guest despite being a stranger. I've used VRBO a lot and I don't hand out five star reviews unless they're earned. This has been a very memorable and in every way pleasing stay. Much Gratitude - I hope to be back!

My modern 2/2 condo was built in 2017 and has been listed with VRBO since 2017. I have had over 70 reviews with 5 star ratings, which did not transfer over when I changed property managers. Guests enjoyed my modern secure condo, laptop-friendly with hi-speed internet, 19th floor city & mountain views and walking distance to everything you need, including a Starbucks across the street and close to over 50 restaurants & bars, grocery store, indoor shopping mall, universities, embassies and much more. Condo common areas include tempered pool and gym. Indoor secure parking for one vehicle.

Before and during your stay, I have an on-site property manager that will be available to answer your questions and provide you restaurant, transportation and sightseeing recommendations. Condo unit is on 19th floor. My on-site property manager lives on 11th floor with his family. You will receive his contact info at time of booking. Prior to your arrival, he is available to answer any questions to assist you in planning a most enjoyable visit.
