Over thirty years ago, I moved to the United States and have been blessed with an amazing life. My husband and I have been happily married for 29 years and have raised two wonderful children. As a family, we've always loved spending time outdoors—fishing, boating, hiking, and cheering on our kids at countless sporting events.

Like many families, we worked hard, saved, and dreamed of one day owning a lakefront home. That dream became a reality in 2017 when we found Decked Out on beautiful Smith Lake.

Over the past few years, we've poured our hearts into making this home even more special. We've updated furniture and mattresses, refreshed the décor, replaced all of the kitchen appliances, added riprap along the shoreline, built a new circular concrete driveway, and recently completed three brand-new lakefront decks. Every improvement has been made with one goal in mind—to create a place where both our family and our guests can enjoy the very best Smith Lake has to offer.

Some of our favorite moments are the simplest ones: enjoying coffee on the shaded deck as the lake wakes up, fishing with family, exploring the lake by boat, watching water sports, and ending the day on the dock as the sky changes colors over the water. Those quiet moments remind us why we fell in love with this place.

When we began searching for our dream lake house in 2017, we had a very specific wish list. We wanted crystal-clear water, breathtaking views, easy access to marinas, restaurants, grocery stores, and medical services, while still enjoying the peace and privacy that make Smith Lake so special. Most importantly, we wanted a property with very few steps to the shoreline and a wide-open view of the main channel.

The moment we found this property, we knew it was exactly what we had been searching for.

Decked Out is conveniently located on the main channel of Lewis Smith Lake between Arley and Duncan Bridge Marina, making it easy to enjoy boating, fishing, dining, and shopping without long drives. Whether you're renting a boat, grabbing groceries, or heading out for dinner, everything you need is just minutes away.

One of our favorite features is the stunning, unobstructed view across the lake to Bankhead National Forest. Because the shoreline across from us is protected, you'll enjoy peaceful scenery, spectacular sunrises, incredible sunsets reflected on the water, and some of the cleanest water you'll find anywhere in Alabama.

As owners who personally care for and manage our home, we're never far away if you need us.
