The Golf
If you love golf, you'll relish in the fact that the PGA Center for Learning and Performance is based here. Attend a workshop to perfect your swing or take a round of lessons. Whether you’re a novice or not, make sure to take advantage of their technology to improve your score and golf like the pros.
The Baseball
Baseball fans have their own reasons to love it here. They will enjoy the spring training activities at Clover Park, where the New York Mets undergo their pre-season workouts. Along with baseball, this stadium can seat 7000 visitors for local festivals, art shows, and concerts.
The Beaches
Port St. Lucie is part of Florida's Treasure Coast, which spans the distance from Sebastian to Stuart. Port St. Lucie is just above the southern tip. The Treasure Coast is famous for its beaches, which means you can enjoy all the sun and surf you want. The area was nicknamed Treasure Coast because early explorers got caught in storms on their way over from Europe, and their precious cargo sunk to the bottom of the ocean. In the 1960s, some of that treasure was discovered, and the Treasure Coast name was born.
Port St. Lucie is a great place to visit. If you enjoy subtropical climates and wearing shorts just about every day of the year, you'll love Port St. Lucie. Compared to larger cities in Florida, it's not hectic or packed with tourists. The lifestyle is laid back, relaxed, and quiet.
