What a great little weekend we had here celebrating my 49th birthday with friends and family. Everyone enjoyed the huge back porch with breath taking views of the sunset! Great little getaway. We'll definitely keep this place on our list for a return visit!

We had agreat time, but the road to the vacation home was very rough. The pier is very unstable.

The house is Gorgeous!! The property manager , Mrs Freida was so sweet and helpful.

Beautiful home, wonderful host

We asked special permission for my brothers Celebration of Life to be held there with immediate family and few old friends. Fredia was a gracious host and said yes. It was exactly what he would have wanted. The home is fully furnished, the lot is gorgeous overlooking Lake Darbonne. We had no issues other than the road was a little bumpy, due to recent rains, that was out of anyones control. It is after all a rural location not far from town. It is a very quiet location, we saw a fox in the front yard which was so awesome. We grew up on the lake, it was just as i remembered. Perfect! Also if you know anything about Louisiana, you know about the mosquitos, not a single one! I came prepared, never saw a single one, that was an unexpected surprise. The back porch was a favorite place, we just enjoyed the evenings and shared memories. Thank you again for all of your help. I highly recommend this location, property and the host were wonderful. Communicated with me on everything. No issues.

Cozy, Beautiful Stay by the Lake!

I absolutely loved everything about this stay! The home was beautiful, cozy, and had such a peaceful vibe. The lake was stunning and the deck made it even better—perfect for relaxing. Fredia,was incredibly kind and helpful. She answered all my questions quickly and made sure everything was perfect. I 100% recommend this place and would definitely stay again!

Love It

This is our second stay and it checks all the boxes for what was needed. The property manager allowed us an early check in as we were traveling from Texas. The property is always immaculate. The road is very rough with hills, but it doesn't have anything to do with the property. The property has all the amenities needed. I would stay again.

This place was amazing!

We took a late vacation over fall break this year and our family had a blast at the location. We fished, played games, cooked lots of yummy foods, and just had a great time relaxing. Definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to get away!

Beautiful property

My family and I had a blast this weekend at this beautiful lake front home. The only bad part was knowing we had to leave. The kitchen and living area is so spacious and great for entertaining. The host was so helpful, and answered my phone calls every time i had a question.

Lovely lake house

We had such a good time at this lake house. Since we love art, we were delighted as we opened the door and were greeted by a red, white and blue metal fish on the counter, the blue and red dog painting, various scenes from New Orleans and the New Orleans Saints. Our grandkids loved "the ballroom". (Pool table). The furnishings were kid friendly and there were toys for them. I love to cook, so I was so pleased to see how well stocked the kitchen was. It had just about everything we needed, including a big refrigerator/freezer and a smaller one in the laundry room. The highlight of our trip was catching fish right off the pier. We were all so excited and caught enough to have a fish fry. The sunset on our last night was beautiful! When sickness came up and we thought we would have to cancel, the owner allowed us to change our reservation. She was friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this house and hope we can return some day.

The home was beautiful, we loved the decor! Had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The house was a little hard to find but other than that we had no problems whatsoever. The host was so sweet, very responsive and accommodating. Will def stay again!
