The Natchez has privacy, comfort, and wonderful accommodations with a lovely front porch with rockers. This is a cozy log cabin with a Pennsylvania fieldstone wood burning fireplace. It has 2 bedrooms with queen beds and one and one half baths. It has 2 televisions, DVD player, DirectTv satellite, and WIFI (wireless) internet. A cute dining area with access to the living room and a fully equipped kitchen. It also has a full laundry area. The cabin has keyless entry. All access information will be communicated on the day of arrival.

Wonderful stay!

We stayed here after helping our daughter and grandkids relocate overseas and needed a calm place to decompress. This home was absolutely perfect—quiet, clean, beautifully stocked, and full of thoughtful touches. The fresh linens, snacks, wine, and cozy atmosphere made us feel truly cared for. We’d definitely stay again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Natchez last week! Ken and Debra are the ultimate hosts, and the word I would use to describe the property and amenities is “Plenty.” There was more than enough towels, blankets, condiments, equipment, movies, supplies, etc. if you needed it, chances were it was there in duplicate and an extra flavor to boot! Thank you for a memorable stay. We enjoyed it immensely!!

Amazing experience! Everything was clean and so well stocked. The kitchen had everything little that we needed for our stay! The host stopped by to welcome us and was very kind. Beautiful area and not too far from charlottesville where we were attending a concert. Would definitely love to come back to the area and spend some more time here and when we do I would definitely book here again! Or maybe we’ll end up re locating to the area in a few years!

Beautiful cabin

This was our 2nd stay at the cabin for thr Thanksgiving weekend. We had an equally good time this year and the cabin is well kept with many extras.

Great cabin

The cabin is beautiful, well maintained & fully stocked with everything you need & just about anything you could want. It was my cousin and I only. Not sure how comfortable it would be for 4 adults. Would rent again.

A Gem of a Cabin

We had a great visit at the Natchez. The Penningtons are thoughtful and attentive hosts. The Natchez is comfortable, cozy, well stocked with everything (including snacks and a complimentary bottle of wine!!!). A perfect, relaxing stay for the Charlottesville area.

Excellent Rustic Cabin

This cabin was a true gem in the Ruckersville area. The location has excellent access to local food, antiques, and vineyards while being removed from the busier areas in a quiet enclave. This will definitely be at the top of our list for our visits to the area. I would and already have recommended this place to others.

Welcoming hosts who made the stay easy and comfortable. Very thoughtful detail and amenities. The hosts made sure we had everything we needed to get in and settled- a very personable experience. Would definitely go back!

Cozy getaway

My husband and I went to Charlottesville to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We found this charming little cabin and booked it. Our hosts were very nice, and Ken worked so hard to shovel snow out of the drive before we arrived. The cabin was perfect for the 2 of us. It was a bit farther out than I realized when I made the reservation, but the bathroom is on the same level as the bedrooms, and that, along with the fireplace, sealed the deal!

Absolute gem of a property. Cottage was perfect in every way. Well maintained, immaculate condition, clean as clean can be and the owners are just the nicest most accommodating folks. Nice easy drive down to the UVA area to see our daughter and catch a football game. Would not stay any where else when we visit the area!

Cozy Cabin in Perfect Location!

My husband & I spent 3 nights here. The cabin is the perfect size for two although can sleep 4 comfortably. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We loved the real fire place. Wood was supplied by the host. Cabin is easy to find and feels secluded even though it is very close to walmart and restaurants. We used it as home base and traveled to Front Royal, Skyline Drive, Harrisonburg and Charlottesville. Host has thought of everything you may need.We would stay again for sure. Cozy, Comfortable, and Convenient

The Natchez was perfect for our long weekend of exploring Shenandoah National Park. Ken and Debra thought of everything - plenty of coffee, snacks, cooking seasonings, pots, pans, and utensils. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed sitting out back at night gazing at the stars and spending our mornings sipping coffee in the rocking chairs. 30 minutes to the Swift Run Gap Entrance, 5 minutes to Octonia Brewing, Walmart, Blue Ridge Cafe, and Jacks Shop Diner. 60 minutes to the amazing Luray Caverns. Highly recommend!

The Cabin is very nice. The owners have done a very good job of providing items you wouldn't expect - coffee, bathroom items (shampoo, etc.), towels, paper towels and best of all a welcome basket of cookies. We left early due to the weather. All we had was rain. The things we had planned to do were all outdoor so we came home.

Beyond ecstatic!!

My fiance and I were beyond estatic with our stay at The Natchez! The owners were so hospitable and kind! The cabin was very clean, incredibly homie feeling, and the location was perfect for the relaxation we were looking for. Wildlife everywhere you look. We as a couple and young family love using vrbo and have used it for years. This property and owner combination was cream of the crop! We will most certainly recommend this place to everyone and will definitely look here first when we plan another trip to this area! Thank you so much again!
