Carbon Valley Ranch is a stunning 9000 sq ft home on 5 acres located in the valley, overlooking Kneehill Creek. The property lies in the outskirts of Carbon, a quaint village with beautiful views and tranquil trails.

Our ranch is an ideal getaway and entertainment space, it is incredibly versatile.

Featuring a theatre room, dance floor, gym, spa bath, and large open garden. Everything you need is right here!

The space:

Carbon is a small and vibrant community located in the heart of the Canadian Badlands. Just 40 km west of Drumheller and one hour from Calgary, as well as a half hour drive to Three Hills or Rosebud. The 'Village in the Valley' is known for its beautiful landscapes, particularly as the picturesque Kneehill Creek runs through the area.

*Swimming in the pond is not allowed. Ice skating in the winter, on the pond, is permitted based upon the hosts assessment and authorization.

Access to the whole house will be available.

The only areas that will be locked off will be the host's attached apartment, the pump room, and the garage. It is politely requested that you don't park in front of the garage doors - you are welcome to park anywhere else on the property.

Bachelor party - Success

This property was kept in perfect condition. Amenities were exactly as described. We could not have hoped for a better time at the Ranch. Staff were also incredibly helpful with locating a lost wallet after departure; they even sent it priority mail to the guest. Thanks CVB, its been a pleasure.

Modern mansion was a dream come true

Three generations, including three married couples so all our 3 granddaughters had their own room. We were there over Christmas and it was nice to have the tree and other decorations done by our hosts. The dining room was large enough for the 9 of us (but would have seated 12). The 2 dishwashers and huge fridge with freezer were essential and there was another fridge in the basement. During our 5 night stay we used almost all the amenities - theatre room, pool table, arcade basketball, sauna and other spa features. We had one dog with us and there were many places outside of the property to walk her (and ourselves). For the price, I don't think there is another place in the province of Alberta that is this large and with this many exceptional features.

Family time together

As a family we were very happy with all the different aspects of the home which met many different interests within our family. We were also comfortable with the fact that the hosts were on site yet not visible to us. They were also very quick to respond to any questions or concerns that we had. Thanks for the wonderful experience we were able to enjoy.

Cool property in the prairie

This was a great experience for our family - the accommodations were enjoyed by everyone. We had some 14 people and there was plenty of space for everyone to hang out during the day and evening around the fire pit. Spectacular prairie scenery.

There are simply no words to justify the versatile, heart-warming, wholesome experiences the ranch provides at any time of year, inside and out. The breath-taking scenery of the Kneehill Valley goes on for miles beyond the backyard, with not a soul to be seen - it feels yours to explore. The ranch is built with 14 foot windows, so you're never far from a stunning sunset, endless varieties of wildlife and frequent meteor showers.

Inside the property there is something for everyone, independently and together. After a long walk, swim or skate along the creek, you can let loose in the Japanese Spa whilst the kids are in the theatre room, then come together around one of our two kitchen areas and fireplaces for some dinner or a game of scrabble. Why not have a dance party with our built-in music system, dance floor and disco lights?

That's the thing about Carbon Valley Ranch, you're guaranteed to leave with life-long memories. Whether you're a couple looking for a rejuvenating getaway, a family looking for a mind-opening stay-cation, or even a business group seeking an adaptable retreat spot, your stay will always be extraordinary.
