Cute 3 bedroom home in perfect location in Cody. Easy walking distance to main street where you have top rated restaurants and attractions.

The house is located next door to the 'Mama Bear Cottage' property and can be rented together to sleep a group of 9. Rent along with the 'Baby Bear Cottage' on the other side and sleep 4 more for a total of 13!

Only 50 miles from YNP! All season activities including rafting, skiing, fishing, hiking and so much more.

Our stay at Papa Bear Cottage was enjoyable. The house was comfortable, met the needs of two couples and in close proximity of our activities. The host was very accommodating, helpful with Cody tips, and responsive. One thing to note is that house is located on a main road, so there may be some traffic noise late at night/early in the morning. We would stay here again!

This is a great home located in town. It was perfect for our family. The beds and pillows were the best part of it. We all slept great! We were worried about being on the corner of the street, but we did not hear any traffic noise while sleeping, just when sitting outside in the evenings. Amy was a great host and answered questions right away. I recommend this property for anyone looking to stay in Cody.

Wonderful location. Host helped with many suggestions for places to eat and see as well as prompt with answers. Quiet. Comfortable beds, nice kitchen and living areas. Parking adequate.

Getaway in Cody

Very cozy home, plenty of room for 4 adults. Used as our base for 4 days traveling around Yellowstone, Chief Joseph and Beartooth Scenic Highways. Great location for relaxing at the end of our travel days. Will note for our next stay in Cody!

The Front Porch to Cody

It was the perfect location for "everything" Cody and Yellowstone. We loved the front porch. Communication with Amy was great and she provided great information/suggestions in advance of our arrival. We had an awesome time!

Papa Bear Dreams

My husband, me and Uncle stayed at Papa Bear May 24-30, 2024 and it was amazing. I had a couple of questions during booking and called Amy; she was right there to help me through them. I addition, she noted if we got into Cody before check in time to call. If the VRBO was available, we'd be able to settle in. That's exactly what happened; it was nice to check in early after an 8 hour drive from Colorado. The corner property location is perfect, we could park our fishing boat with no issues. The house is very nice too! I'm glad we didn't stay in a hotel. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, a nice sized kitchen and living room. It was perfect for our group, with another room to spare. The house smelled and looked wonderful too (we girls notice these things, pretty much right away). Equally important was there was a washer and dryer, with a package to run a couple of loads- which was REALLY nice. The kitchen had everything you'd need to cook and sit down to have a family meal too- plus a dishwasher. I really loved that the master bath/bedroom door could shut off the rest of the house- we had a snorer. The back yard was pretty and spacious too. We didn't get a chance to BBQ, but will nex time we stay for sure. None of us have stayed in a VRBO in Cody but I would highly recommend Papa Bear, especially over a hotel. Our stay was perfect, in every way possible. Thank you Amy!!!
