This 12-acre property is truly unique, with so much to do on site you will never want to leave. Perfect for a family or several couples wanting to get away from the city. Wilderkill includes fields, a fire pit for bonfires, paths through the woods, a stream, a pond, a cedar jungle gym with swings and a slide, a sandbox, a tennis court, a heated outdoor pool (open May-October). The barn has two decks, incredible mountain views, a private outdoor grill, a private outdoor fire pit, a private hot tub, and a private sauna. Inside the barn, there are custom furnishings throughout. Upstairs you will find an enormous rec room with a pool/ping-pong table, a baby grand piano, multiple workspaces, and lots of space to relax or host a dinner. Also upstairs in the barn is a bathroom with a shower/bath; the kitchen space, which is replete with a Scandinavian wood stove and sitting area; and two bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with two twins. Above the two bedrooms is a large loft space that can be used for relaxing or for sleeping additional guests, since it has a queen bed. Downstairs in the barn you will find a home gym/screening room with an elliptical machine, a weight machine, a projector and bean bags. You can use the space to work out, do yoga, or screen sports games, movies, and exercise classes. Also downstairs is a private bedroom with a queen bed, desk, and couch; a bathroom with a shower; and a massive garage space with a refrigerator that can store ski equipment, hiking gear, and extra provisions. The Wilderkill Retreat shares its 12-acre property with a beautifully maintained Dutch colonial house. Renters will have access to all the facilities on the property except this house, which may be owner-occupied when renters visit. Renters will have priority access to the shared facilities.
