This cabin sleeps 6 people MAXIMUM.

CELL SERVICE: My Verizon cell service works "ok" for calling or texting. Data usage is not the best but the Cabin Wifi works great.

FIREPLACE: For obvious reasons, the fireplace is non-operational during warm weather months. The fireplace is operational October 15th through March 15th.

PETS: Sorry, we do not permit pets.

There is no smoking or vaping of any kind permitted inside the Cabin!! You will be charged for the cleaning fee and damages from this. Take it OUTSIDE!! Cleanup your cigarette butts.

The cabin is set up with a starter set of coffee pods, paper towels, toilet paper, dish/hand soap and supplies. Additional supplies are the guests responsibility.

The cabin is in the woods. You will likely see and hear critters. The roof is metal. There is no attic. If a squirrel crawls on the roof you will hear it. If it's raining you will hear it.
If you see a bear during your stay whether in the park or in the driveway do not feed it. Stay away from it. They are dangerous. Bears are RARE!

Great cabin rental!

Enjoyed our stay at the Black Bear Loft! Check in was super simple, cabin was clean, and location was perfect! Spent the days visiting both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and enjoyed a day of just relaxing at the cabin. Highly recommend!

Christmas family vacation

This cabin was beautiful to stay in and had all the entertainment for my three teenage children. The hot tub and the jet tub in the master bedroom were well kept and clean and provided a relaxing time after being in the city all day.

Pre-Christmas getaway 24'

My wife and I* stayed at the cabin and very much enjoyed the home. It was clean, well represented in the ad, and was simply beautiful. The rain the last night on the roof was very relaxing to listen to as I drifted off to sleep. I will consider this cabin next time I stay in the area! Owners are very communicative, without being intrusive. Very much appreciated.

Great cabin vacation.

We had wonderful stay. Very comfortable accommodations. The host and housekeepers went above and beyond and it showed. Great location close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge yet still felt very secluded and private. The drive up is a little steep and has limited visibility at times. Could be a problem in inclement weather though they do seem to maintain the roads very well. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and utensils. Gaming tables were great even as adults we enjoyed them. Highly recommend.

Perfectly located

Loved the cabin and the beautiful drive going to it. We did see some bears and they definitely made our stay so enjoyable. It was a clean place. It had most of the things you need. A lot of beautiful memories. We thank the owners and God bless.

Breathtaking!

Exceptional cabin, well stocked with all amenities. Only minutes from Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. Couple of miles up the mountain to a little taste of paradise.

Perfect spot for family getaway!

We absolutely loved our stay! The cabin is in a great location. Very clean and perfect layout for families with kids! We loved the little touch of having coffee pods available! The kids loved the games upstairs and begged to stay. We absolutely plan to book again!

New getaway spot!!!

Our expectations were exceeded in every way. The cabin is well equipped and very organized which I find appealing. Plenty of seating space and there is a tv in every room. Plenty of entertainment options, great WiFi, great hot tub, and great communication with the host. We are making this our new place to stay in Gatlinburg!

Wonderful clean cabin

Cabin is as listed. Very clean , nice location between Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge. Close enough to all the attractions but away in quiet area. Would stay again.

Great cabin

Great cabin in the Smokies, very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed it alot. We even seen a bear walk right by the front porch one evening! Close enough to all the attractions but still felt secluded. The host communications were great and obviously they care a great deal that guests have a good time and have a good experience. Highly recommended.

Nice Getaway

The cabin is very well maintained, and offers everything you would expect from a cabin. Beautiful views, comfy atmosphere for evening porch sitting. Some nice to knows: if you have a smaller vehicle you could struggle to get up the mountain road, we were only provided one dish towel and wash cloth, and 4 bath towels/wash clothes for our 4 night stay with 4 adults (there is a washer and dryer with detergent provided). Overall, we had a great time and really enjoyed our stay. We were able to cook breakfast every morning, and sit back every night and watch TV before bed, several subscriptions are available like Disney Plus and Hulu.

Wonderful cabin in the woods!

Just what our family wanted for our trip to the smokies! Clean, cute cabin deep in the woods. My 3 kids ages 9-15 loved the arcade games and the foosball, played every second we were at home. Hot tub was amazing after hiking all day. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. The drive can be intimidating at first but became the talk of the trip. We Loved this place!

Mountain Living

The property was great! Our kids loved the loft area. We had several intense games on the foosball table. The beds were comfortable, loved the room darkening curtains too. We had several bear encounters but thankfully we stayed close to the porch to get inside when needed. It was a great place and only about 20 min to all the fun in town stuff too. We would definitely stay again!

Great cabin

We enjoyed staying at the cabin, it was as described and had what we needed. Especially enjoyed the hot tub after long days of adventuring. Communication was great, no issues. Upstairs deck was very peaceful for morning cofee or an evening drink. Just the right size for our family of 3 (2 adults and our 18 year old son).

A nice family retreat

Really enjoyed this stay. Beautiful home, whether soaking in the hot tub before bed, or enjoying coffee out on the porch in the morning, playing games inside, or just snuggling up to the tv. It helped to have all those things to cover the interests of the whole family.

Black Bear Loft

It was just as described and the reviews all said. Clean, everything you would need, quiet and the host Scott was great to work with. The roads getting to it were certainly interesting. Would not hesitate coming back again nor referring a friend or relative.

Cabin on the Mountain

This cabin was an excellent choice for us. Our daughter, 16, loved the loft and deck. We all enjoyed the hot tub. Some furnishings have been updated from the photos in the listing. The drive to the cabin has tight corners, narrow roards, and hills that feel like a drop off. Drive slow and you'll be fine. We did see 2 bears, 1 on the way to the cabin and 1 on property, a neighbor did not lock up their trash properly.

Smoky Mountain Retreat

Our family of 4 stayed 5 nights. This included two young boys ages 6 & 9. The cabin is perfect for a family. Plenty to keep the kids occupied; a retro arcade cabinet, a touchscreen board game setup, and a foosball table. Both beds were very comfortable. The host provides more than I expected, including K-cups, laundry detergent, paper towels, etc. We brought supplies with us, however more than enough was already provided. We ran into an issue where the washing machine stopped working and Scott had a technician come out the next day. We were back up and running in no time. I Highly recommend staying here! Scott is an attentive host and he has the cleanest cabin I've been in. Thank you!

Absolutely Loved It

We came into town for a wedding and decided we would stay a few extra days for a little get away. We needed to check in a couple hours early to have time to get ready for the wedding and Scott was gracious enough to allow us to do so. Scott checked on us daily to make sure all was going well. While we were there we were visited by a momma bear and two baby cubs which was amazing. The cabin had WiFi and a games for our 12 year old in the loft bedroom that we all enjoyed together. The cabin was clean and very nice, everything you could need while there. Great place and we highly recommend staying here.

Welcome! We are a couple from New York with one little boy and decided to purchase a cabin in the Smoky Mountains after one fun filled visit. Both of us love to travel and do so often. My wife and I are both college graduates, her being a school teacher and myself a firefighter in NYC. We love being outdoors, skiing, hiking, rafting and much more but also love a good movie and time to relax and enjoy. It makes us happy to be able to share our home with you as it's a great joy for us and we are confident you'll love it!
