Modern Luxury Ocean Front Home

Nestled in the quaint fishing village of Princeton by the Sea, just a mile north of Half Moon Bay, this stunning property is the perfect destination for your next coastal retreat. The two-bedroom, one sofa bed, two-bathroom beautiful space sleeps up to 5-6 people and features spectacular views of Pillar Point Harbor and Half Moon Bay throughout the common areas and bedrooms. This is the ultimate coastal luxury, featuring modern appliances and an open floor through all the common areas.

Each of the two bedrooms is on the same floor and has 1 King bed per room. In the common area, there is a sofa that turns into a bed. The property sleeps a maximum of six people.

There is no elevator, and the living areas are up one or two levels from the ground level. In some of the photos, a decorative ladder is visible. However, the ladder is not accessible to guests and is blocked off. We have regular staircases between the first, second, and third levels.

Like many properties on the Half Moon Bay coast and SF area, the house does not have air conditioning.

Absolutely loved this home. Close to our favorite places. Saw seals and pelicans daily from the deck. Home is upgraded and amazing.

This place is an architectural work of fine art! The top floor feels like an open sunny treehouse on the beach. The exterior walls and windows are placed to capture the beauty of the surrounding area without peering into your neighbor's space (with one exception; there are 2 houses on this property and some windows make you feel like it's actually only one house, but there are shades to prevent that). It took us awhile to figure out how the lights, electric shades and push-open fridge worked, but we eventually got there. The location was PERFECT! I mean besides proximity to Pilar Point, what can be better that walking to a brewery and distillery in about one minute. What an exquisite home! Well worth the price. Next time we'll rent both houses and bring the whole family.

Quick Getaway

Great house and location. We walked to get coffee in the morning and to dinner a couple of the nights. We were looking forward to having a bed that had views as it shows in the profile picture but the profile picture is of it's twin property that is next door. But the other pictures seemed accurate to this property. We would stay at this property again.

So NICE!!!!

I rented this property for my parents and brother(and his wife and baby) so they could have a place to stay close to where my wedding was. I got married right next door at mavericks house and this property made it super easy for my family, who visited from the Philippines) to get back and forth if they forgot anything for the baby. The property itself was super clean, really incredible views, and had everything you need for a nice comfortable stay. Unfortunately I may have lost my keys but the hosts responded within an hour of me reaching out to them🙏very easy entry to the property, and just a fantastic overall experience!

Lovely property!

The house is incredible. Within easy walking distance to Maverick’s Beach & downtown. Amazing views of the bay. The beds were comfy with nice pillows & bedding. All seating was very comfortable. We even got to witness two weddings from the balcony next door at Maverick House. There is a lot to love about the property but my FAVORITE thing is the Toto toilet. Nothing like a toasty heated seat for your bum. We did book this specific property based on the listing which showed a hot tub on property which is not accurate. I did have some trouble initially communicating with the host who ended up being out of town. There was an alternate number that we were eventually able to receive contact for my questions. Tv had streaming services & WiFi was adequate. We all had work & zoom’s and it was functional for the calls. Turn the water heater up a smidge, even on full heat it wasn’t quite hot enough for 50° coastal weather. I do not think this property would be acceptable for children since there are delicate sculptures everywhere & kids would easily knock them over. Make sure to check out the glass stair lights. Totally took the ambience up a notch after dark.

Best on the harbor

This home was immaculate inside and out. Definitely the nicest home in the harbor. It was spacious and bright inside. The pics don’t do it justice. Our honest feedback, tho not a complaint is we wish there’s was a little more amenities for the price such as more outdoor patio furniture, bbq and even bikes would make this property perfect.

Modern Luxury Home with Stunning Views!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time in this gorgeous, modern home. This home is a tri-level home. First floor is the game room, second floor are the bedrooms & the third-floor is the kitchen, family room, and the outside deck with amazing views.The kitchen has everything you need to cook your meals, however my husband and I took advantage of the restaurants being literally five minutes away. There were times we took food home because our view was better than any restaurants’ view.. The bed was luxurious. It was very comfortable with soft, hotel sheets. The modern bathrooms were definitely beautiful and the rain shower made me want to just shower all day. Lol. This home was comfortable, clean and we highly recommend it. The host is responsive and readily available to answer any questions. We definitely felt taken care of. We are so grateful that we were able to have this opportunity to enjoy this beautiful property just minutes away from home. We will definitely be back. Thank You. :)

great location in Half Moon Bay

beautiful property, just like the photo...great thought and detail went into lighting, ammenities, fabulous deck. Bedding very comfortable. A bit strange that the exit went through the master bedroom, and the master's bathroom was in hall. Wish for more seating on outside deck, and possible firepit to ward off the morning and evening chill. Owner communicated promptly and we loved walking to morning coffee, listening to the seals and fog horn, easy walking to best restaurants. Highly recommended

Spacious modern property right on the water

This 2 story house was perfect for a weekend getaway from SF. Loved that you could open the doors to the balcony all the way to make it feel like an indoor/outdoor space overlooking the water. Also the sea lions right outside were pretty exciting to see (though you could also hear them all night). Loved that it was walking distance to a few restaurants so we didn't have to drive anywhere if we didn't want to. Amenities were all modern and clean. Highly recommend!

Off the beaten track

A beautiful house in an unlikely area but proved to be a perfect little getaway with friends. Princeton-on-the Sea is a quaint fishing village and the house has a gorgeous view of the bay and the marina. It was very peaceful to sit on the patio or in the living room with the folding doors open, watching and listening to the tons of birds in the water, the sea lions close by and the lapping of the water. Our favorite place to eat was Barbara's Fishtrap - don't be deceived by it's appearance - the best calamari and fresh fish ever! Our three days were spent exploring the area and relaxing in our pristine, modern and beautifully appointed home. Be aware that you will be in an area that appears commercial and somewhat delapidated but when you look out to the bay, that is all behind you (literally and figuratively). A fun little adventure that we all enjoyed.

Heavenly 2-Day Escape

This is an ideal get-away spot with a spectacular view of the harbor and ocean. It's location is within walking distance to restaurants, a microbrewery and a distillery and ICE CREAM; something for everyone. The walk to Maverick Beach was a bonus with sightings of herons, seal lions, terns and other wildlife. The design of the house and it's interior is superbly layed out with impeccable design and amenities. We will definitely stay here again with the intent to bring more friends to stay in the adjoining and matching house.
