Degu Homestay is a local Homestay that offers a friendly environment for the budget travelers looking for a quality accommodation.Any one who comes to Omo valley Ethiopia is invited to special experience.To enter the heart of culture and to be hosted in jinka.Degu is a tour guide and tour operator ,so he can organize a tour for you around Omo valley tribes. There is also a TV situated in the outside seating next to the bar. The owner is from Jinka and speaks fluent/very good English. The property also benefits of having a back up water supply in times of water shortages, as well as a small generator for during electricity shortage .
Tribal gate is a family owen B&B located at very quiet and safe area close to the South Omo research Center Museum .. We offer clean and friendly accommodation close to the center of Jinka, within 10 minutes drive from Jinka Airport. We offer; free airport pickup service, free Wi-Fi access in all rooms, breakfast served every morning, laundry service, daily housekeeping, 24 hrs security service, Car Rental for different activities, Tour operators facility and many more.

Degu graduated with honors from Lion College of Hotel Management.

There's a rhythm to the land, where the seasons paint the surroundings in different hues, and the gentle presence of local wildlife—deer, birds, and the occasional fox—reminds you of the untamed beauty of the area. The community feels close-knit, though not intrusive, with a shared respect for the land. Whether it's an impromptu gathering by the fire or simply enjoying a solitary walk, the neighborhood fosters a feeling of harmony between the human and natural worlds.

The place where I am is in rural village which is called Ari village found outside of the city with panoramic view of jinka city.You can see and enjoy the village life.The Room are simple (not like hotel...)but it is clean ,there is shower ,comfortable place and warmy.
