Enjoy everything from this very convenient home away from home. Dinner, music, shopping, downtown, history, biking, trails, and fun. The Westerleigh's location boasts a 19 TransitScore ® with Minimal Transit required to thoroughly enjoy your freedom around Frederick. Bring your bike! There are so many trails and sights with great access for bikers. The building is directly across the street from the Historic District. The apartment is in a circa1990 building as you can see from the photos. It is set back from the street with private access, a private parking lot, and well-lit access to the entrances. Unmatched convenience in a historic setting. This space features everything you need to be comfortable with. You will have private access to the entire one bedroom apartment and the common area of the building, including the laundry room which is on the first level. There is a push-button entry door to the unit itself. The key to the front door of the building is in a key-box at the front door which you can access with a combination if you need to. The super is always available to let you in, or assist you, however!

Retreat Well Suited for Me

From booking to checkout, my experience was just what I was looking for. Frederick is a welcoming community with so many opportunities for social connection, spiritual growth, and recovery meetings. If all goes well, I will spend my winters here.

Good location, easy walk to town

The apartment was a good location, about 5-10 minute walk to get to town where the shops, restaurants and bars are.

Wonderful Stay

I needed to find a short-term place to live while during a period of transition. This apartment was just what I needed. Clean, quiet and close to everything that I needed. For those not local to the area, it is so close to everything downtown and very convenient. Lisa was available at any time I had a question or needed anything. Would definitely stay here again if the need arose.

nice and quiet

I arrived late in the evening, yet the property owner still met with me and made sure I got settled in, was exactly as I hoped for. The bed was comfortable, the house was clean. Check out simple. Lots of local attractions some within walking distance. overall, a nice place. 5 stars from me.

Ideal for long term stay

This property is clean, secure and close enough to groceries, drug stores and restaurants. Unfortunately many of the restaurants on S Market St were closed or only open for a few hours because of COVID. The building is secure. A key lock to get in then a combination lock/doorknob to enter the apartment. Full kitchen, comfortable queen bed in bedroom. Full bath. Large screen TV in living room. TV is streaming only. WiFi is good. Parking is never an issue. Dumpster is convenient to get rid of trash. Owner is friendly and communicates. We stayed a month while waiting to settle on a home.

Responsive Host

The air conditioner hose was being repaired as we were arriving and floor tiles were being laid to cover the black splotches in the utility closet where the unit was located. We soon learned the Sheetrock next to the unit was soft and the wall also had black splotches because rainwater was getting through the air conditioner outside vents. Lisa was quick to respond, very considerate, and had an employee spray the area with disinfectant, then use a water based paint so we wouldn't be disturbed by paint odor. I would recommend using the comfortable pull-out couch if you move a lot in your sleep. The bed consists of two queen mattresses on top of a full box spring on top of a queen frame. The sides are not stable enough to sit on and any movement causes noise. The neighbors were friendly and the super and his assistant were very helpful and kind. Parking was never an issue. When I found a short term lease much closer to the grandchildren, Lisa very kindly recalculated the cost of the stay and refunded part of my money.

Adequate

We came to fredrick for 4 nights for specialist appointments. We are from PA. The apartment is not in the best part of town. Still felt mostly safe, but the building outside door was never secured when we came back. Kind of a security issue. We always pullednit closed. Privacy was an issue, as there were no curtains, only plastic mini blinds. This apt is on the first floor. So curtains would have made a world of difference. It was mostly clean....we had to change the shower curtain, it looked grimy and moldy...so we went to the store and bought one. We couldn't shower with that one in there. Other than that. It suited our purpose. The downtown and parks are really great. Accepting of all ppl.

Wedding Weekend

We attended a wedding in Frederick and stayed here. Everything was in walking distance and the place was totally comfortable, having everything we needed. Would stay here again!

Close to everything

It was a Nice place to stay for our short stay. We will definitely be staying there again on our next visit. Best part of all was private parking right in front of the unit. Just like home away from home.

Great stay

We had a great stay at Lisa's place in downtown Frederick. We combined a visit to a new city with golf. We enjoyed everything in our stay. We played two great rounds at excellent courses. We found lots of nice eating spots especially Il Porto at the corner of Market Street. Lisa's apartment was very well accommodated, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Thanks, Lisa for making our discovery of a new place to visit a fun experience. Jimmy the Super was most helpful also and always prompt with help if needed.

Great Stay In Frederick

Stayed here for a few days with friends. The experience overall was great. Lisa, the renter, and Jimmy, the property manager, we're both great in being responsive and answering all my questions. The apartment is also less than 10 mins away from Downtown, a very nice area where all the bars and restaurants are located. Overall a great trip and a great stay.

The best thing about this apartment is the blend of proximity, convenience, comfort, and value. You are so near to everything you want to do and see. You can park your car and simply walk, or bring your bike and ride. The building is set back from the hubbub of the street, it's well lit at night, it has a private lot, and a video surveillance system for security. You can enjoy the big screen Smart TV, Wifi, electric fireplace, Ecobee Alexa T-stat, comfortable pillows and plush touches like thick towels and comforters. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to be immediately at home.
