Because while I adore basking in the natural beauty around The Lake House, I don't believe in giving up the comforts of modern life. Whether it's enjoying a cocktail by the fire, kayaking down the Wapsipinicon River (affectionately known as the Wapsi), or paddle boating around Goose Lake, my love for nature is matched by an appreciation for life's conveniences. Central air conditioning, wifi, a warm shower, and a queen-sized bed with quality linens are just as essential to me as the feel of sand between my toes.
