One block from Savannah’s largest and most beloved green space, Forsyth Park, sits the charming Big Blue House. This historic home offers six bedrooms and four bathrooms, comfortably accommodating families or groups of friends. The entire home is yours during your stay.
Please note: this is a century-old Savannah home, full of character and charm. It is not a luxury hotel, and with age comes quirks—including original features like old door knobs and sound that can travel—but that’s all part of the authentic Savannah experience.
Other Things to Note
We are dog-friendly and allow up to two dogs with a $150 non-refundable pet fee. Cats are not permitted. Dogs are not allowed on furniture or beds. Evidence of dog hair on furniture, excessive hair on linens, or stains may result in additional cleaning charges. If a security deposit is collected, all or part may be retained to cover pet-related cleaning costs.
Because the home is over 100 years old and sound does carry, this property may not be a good fit for dogs that bark frequently.

We focus exclusively on properties in Savannah and Tybee Island because this is our home, not just a market. We’ve each lived in Savannah for over 20 years and still live here today—working, playing, and spending our time downtown—so sharing this city comes naturally to us. We decided to rent our first home as a vacation rental because we wanted guests to experience Downtown Savannah the same way we do.
