Could be great with repairs, but won't stay again

Positives: garage (very tight neighborhood with little street parking), spacious, living/dining room/kitchen were nice, washer and dryer available, great air conditioning, liked the location. Negatives: lack of communication from host (he said he was out of the country but didn't respond even once he returned), very musty smell throughout house (which host tried to cover up with numerous car and other air fresheners), terrible shower in need of repair (hot and cold knobs just spun around, showerhead's broken, mold), toilet paper/dish soap etc. not stocked for our 4 night stay, camera (or something electronic) in living room hanging by wires from wall with plastic bag over it, 2 breakers had tripped so no kitchen lights (which we finally figured out on our own after searching for the breakers because owner didn't respond), supposed to be a queen bed in attic bedroom but it was 2 twin beds.

New to PA

Our family of 5 used this BNB until our house was ready to move into. I was very well furnished, plenty of amenities. The only thing is the broken garage door. We used it to put our SUV in (barely fit) but we were so worried about it breaking on us. Also wish there was a fan on the 3rd floor as it got really hot up there and we were told not to adjust the thermostat lower than 68. The noise outside was pretty loud at night, but we managed. All in all it was a pleasant stay.

Spacious, yet cozy!

The house was more than accommodating for our needs. Lots of space to spread out. I wish the weather had been better so we could enjoy the backyard. A big bonus to be able to park in the garage as well. They were great hosts, and always there to check on things and make sure we were comfortable.
