My husband and I throughly enjoyed our stay at the place in Rangeley. The chalet and the setting were perfect. Very private with a stunning view off the back deck. The kitchen is so well stocked with everything one could want or need. Beautiful sites to see and visit close by and hikes for all levels. Thanks so much Tom and Alina for sharing your fantastic place!John and Paula

Tom was wonderful to communicate with! And his home is lovely- spacious, yet cozy and very clean. We enjoyed the house games and watching classic movies on the TV/VCR upstairs, and use of the smart TV on the main level after our adventures in the area. The location was perfect for a quiet stay with proximity to all the essentials - grocery store, downtown and beautiful sites. I would highly recommend!

Lovely private cabin in Rangeley, ME

This is a lovely, private cabin in a beautiful wooded setting. Close to town and the Rangeley Lake attractions. Great communication with owner. My husband and I could see the Milky Way at night off the front deck and we enjoyed the sunrise in the morning off the back deck and in dining room. The only downside we had was there were flies we had to keep taking care of in the house, but from what I read that’s usual for this area. Although, would be nice if the owners could put more fly tape (or other options) around inside the cabin.

Thank you for the nice comments Kathy, but sorry you were inconvenienced by the flies. It is an issue this time of the year in that area of Maine. They are called cluster flies, and they try to find their way into houses in the autumn when it gets colder. Last year was much worse. This year, in effort to be pro-active, we paid $500 to have an exterminator spray the cabin a few weeks before your arrival. We stayed there ourselves the weekends before and after you did, and the flies were negligible. But, we take your comments seriously, and apologize for the issue. Thank you for renting with us.

Beautiful clean cabin in a secluded setting. Well stocked kitchen with lots of dishes and cooking equipment, plus some herbs and spices in the cabinet, always appreciated. Spent some time on the deck at night stargazing in the very dark sky.

We had a wonderful time, the location is just fabulous, tucked away, but close to town for any needs. You felt nice and isolated, nice, beautiful, quiet evenings the cabin is adorable, well appointed, and the rooms are spacious and inviting. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Awesome Stay! Will Try to visit again!

I want to thank Tom for being a great host, quickly responding to my questions, and truly taking care of the property. The chalet was clean and extremely well set-up. It had everything that we needed and more. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything I needed for cooking. The place was very quiet and relaxing. The town of Rangeley is 10 or so minutes away by car. There is a nice grocery store and a gas station right nearby. Tons of hiking trails and swimming spots (Rangeley lake, small falls, tumbledown mountain -- if you can climb it :-). Overall, this was my favorite vacation this year. I will see if I can come there again. Thank you!!!

Chalet near Saddleback

My family and I had a wonderful experience at this rental. The property was very clean and had everything we needed. It is located a few miles from Saddleback, so we appreciated the out-of-town location at a very reasonable rate for 4 adults. We enjoyed using the woodstove after skiing and the full sized washer and dryer was a plus. Thanks for reaching out, Tom, when the power went out in the area to make sure everything was okay and for making our stay great. We hope to be back in Rangeley in the duture and will definitely look into renting here again.
