Peaceful Retreat - Lake & Mountain Views - Private Pool - Great for the Holidays

This spacious house sleeps up to 12 adults and children in the main home (*and there is also an ADULT ONLY - Private Modern apartment FLEX SPACE that can be rented for an ADDITIONAL COST, where 2 more ADULTS can stay. Ask for more info if interested. The last several pictures are of the apartment). This is a wonderful space to spend any season with your family or friends, there’s always lots to do.

With its breathtaking views of Douglas Lake and The Smoky Mountains the home is the perfect place for your next retreat. VERY RARE, LARGE PRIVATE OFFICE with panoramic views to make the work day fly by...which helps make working from home time not too bad! Wifi throughout to keep you connected if needed.

High style luxury provides 2 amazing kitchens that are fully equipped for making those delicious meals your whole family or group of friends will always remember. Also, a large theater room, outdoor grill, a salt-water *heated pool and spa, extra large lounge deck, 2 fire pits, and plenty of space for guests to relax and rejuvenate. Your group will also have plenty to do nearby such as hiking trails, boat, jet ski, kayak, and paddle board rentals, golf, water parks, amusement parks, shopping, horseback riding, white water rafting, and lots of antiquing.

This house is perfect for 8-10 adults, for retreats. And the sleepers can accommodate children or a couple of smaller adults. We allow up to 12 booked persons total in the main house (and IF THE FLEX SPACE IS RENTED...then there is allowed 14 Total, NO EXTRA GUESTS ALLOWED ON PROPERTY…NO EXCEPTIONS.

NO SMOKING ANYWHERE ON PROPERTY.

Relaxing for big family vacation!

This was a last minute switch in vacation plans and it was what our family needed. The home was comfortable, nicely decorated, many gathering spaces, perfect lake views, and inspiring spots inside/ outside the house to meditate, pray, read, and/ or do yoga. The pool was huge along with the hot tub. Many amenities were provided from corn hole, board games, floats, pool table to 2 coffee bars with a bag of locally roasted coffee beans (nice touch from the owners). No direct access to the lake except through a community trail that is somewhat overgrown and not easy to find. Manicured landscaping and in an established neighborhood. The theater room was a hit for the 17 year old boys! Using recommended Chef Jamie from the area was a hit and the food was delicious. Have to give the owners credit for providing 2 full kitchens and a bar, ALL appliances were provided (even 4 ways to make coffee)! Overall a great place to connect with loved ones and just relax together.

50th Wedding Anniversary

This was the perfect place for our family. The hosts were amazing! They were so helpful and such a blessing to our family. The views are incredible from almost every window in the house. We have never had a rental with everything you could need. They have thought of everything. It’s spacious and a room for everyone’s needs. The house was clean and decor was beautiful. It’s close to so many attractions. The neighborhood was very quiet and friendly. The downtown is full of history and fun shops. Five star for sure!! Thank you Mike and Kimberly for your hospitality and sharing your beautiful home with us.

Perfect family getaway

This place exceeded expectations in every way: clean, fully equipped kitchens, including a great ice maker and two coffee bars. The movie room was perfect for our group - from kids to adults! The views were exceptional, and there were plenty of comfortable sleeping spaces with homey touches, like sound machines in the rooms. A whole house sound system and outdoor cafe lighting made for special nights at the pool and hot tub. TWO outdoor fire areas and an absolutely sprawling floor plan made for tons of space for everyone. We did not want to leave! Kim was responsive and helpful, helping us making sure the kids were safe around the pool - an alarm system and special door locks let us sleep soundly. This place was absolutely perfect. The hosts know how to do things right, taking no shortcuts. Would certainly stay again!

Family Getaway

We had such a wonderful time at The View! The home is beautiful, truly a place to relax and enjoy all that it has to offer. There was an issue with the hot tub, but Kimberly and Michael were able to get it resolved quickly. Thank you for a wonderful place for our family to gather!!!

Last Minute Vacation

We luckily found this place just a few weeks before our vacation. Gave plenty of room for spending time with family. Kids loved the pool. We watched some movies in the theater room. And plenty of table space for board games together as well. The location was within an hour from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. So we also had a good week having fun at Dollywood and other attractions in that area. The owners/managers were really great. They made sure to text or call with any information or issues. They made sure we understood the doors to the pools so that our kids would be safe and we really appreciated it. Would definitely stay again!

Working in the airline industry since 1989 and being vacation rental host since 2013, we have stayed in all types of places and have decided we like comfort over camping :-) We thought many others would too. We bought this home with the expressed desire to see people who are weary, discouraged, and just needing some refreshing...to be able to come away and rest. We set it up as an adult retreat, knowing personally many people in full time ministry or missions who need a peaceful place to rejuvenate and to regain perspective. As followers of Jesus, we learned after going through a very difficult time of illness, that He loves people and He calls us to come away, be still, and KNOW Him: His peace, His rest, His comfort, His HOPE! Come and see for yourself, refresh, renew, get new perspective in a place that is set apart from the busyness of the world around us all. We'd love to host you and your group. The views are SPECTACULAR!! And you will notice the peaceful nature of the property as you drive in and it will only get better as you walk into the home. This is a truly unique property that is unlike any other in the area. First you have space and serenity that many other homes don't have. You will have 2 full kitchens, 2 coffee bars, tons of parking, a 900 sq. ft theater room with a 135 inch screen. The pool table is situated in one of the rooms with the best views...you might just want to hang out and eagle watch since there are so many pairs located right on Douglas Lake (I've watched in amazement many days!). There are so many locations inside and out to be alone to meditate, read, or chill...yet there's space for group gatherings that won't leave anyone out. You have the option of having the private salt-water pool heated April 1-Oct 31 for an added charge or just use the spa/hot tub in those cooler months which over looks the lake and mountains. All four bedrooms have private bathrooms which make it great for couples getaways. Two lead directly out onto the pool deck. This home will accommodate up to 12 total in the main home (and we've added a brand new modern apartment that can be rented for an additional charge, but the apartment if for ADULTS ONLY. If interested in the apartment ask for more info). No additional guests permitted. If you want to go to Gatlinburg or Pidgeon Forge you can go, but when you want peace and space...you are just minutes back to the house.

This house is located in a beautiful neighborhood without steep, narrow, or winding roads. Only 5 minutes to a nice grocery store, starbucks, ice cream and snow cone shop, nail salon and a cute downtown shopping area. A restaurant with live music on the deck outside is 6 minutes away. And 7- 10 minutes to golfing and boating. We LOVE this location! Also, unlike many lakefront homes in the area, you don't notice the drastic drop of the lake every spring, fall and winter, because we are positioned high above the water line where you just see the beauty. And because the location is higher, you don't hear all the boat noise typically found in properties close to waters edge. Some of you know what I'm talking about. Come see for yourselves, we believe you'll love the difference and book again and again like many others.
