Such a wonderful villa! The ladies were wonderful and cooked all week for us, as well as kept the place nice and clean. The food was amazing and they were so sweet. My only issue was a group of young locals who would hang out by the ocean/pool area most nights who ended up stealing some things of ours. It was the same little group in their teens/early 20’s that would be there every afternoon into the evening. The first few days of our stay they hung out at the villa beside us, but then moved on to our area kinda overtaking our pool area and just sitting there for hours, two of them practically making out and all over each other. But that wasn’t the fault of the staff there by any means.

Best holiday ever. Villa was better then photos online. Staff were just amazing and Gutta is still the most handsome driver in Bali. Karen, you must be so proud of your staff, absolutely amazing. We will be back.

Absolutely fantastic! We spent 14 nights at the villa. Our driver, Rio, was amazing! We had many day trips across Bali. Ladies cooked amazing food!If you are looking for a secluded holiday, away from many tourists - this is the place! It is a bit far from Ubud (3.5 hours drive), Seminyak etc. but totally worth it!!!We would highly recommend this property!Photos are exact representation of the villa.

Outstanding!

Right from the start of the booking, all the staff have gone out of their way to help and make our 16 day stay absolutely wonderful. The girls look after you incredibly well and cook all the meals you require. The pool is amazing.The manager and drivers are brilliant.We didnt want for anything.Totally recommend this place.

A great getaway place to relax and find quiet refuge.

My husband and I stayed for 1 month and had 2 sets of friends visit during that time. The house is set up so well for that with everyone having their own space. Our driver Juta for the entire month was wonderful - a safe driver and good local guide. And the ladies taking care of the house and the cooking were terrific.

This villa is a slice of paradise

Can’t say enough good things about our stay at the villa. Everything exceeded expectations, especially the staff. The food was fantastic and never disappointed. We took advantage of the driver and car and he helped us to plan many exceptional excursions. The grounds and pool were kept beautiful. We enjoyed excursions to snorkel, explored waterfalls, swam with dolphins, explored temples and had a wonderful nature/ cultural walk through the rice terraces, not to be missed. The communication with Karin was superb throughout the booking process right through checkout. We can’t wait to come back!

Nothing but amazing

Our stay at Villa Bima Sene was one of the best vacations we have ever had. The staff are all amazing. Everyone is so warm and inviting and really make you feel at home. We spent a lot of time with our driver, Jutta. He was so helpful setting up any excursions and getting us anywhere we needed to be. He went above and beyond. The Villa is fantastic. Looks just as good as it does in the pictures. The location is not in a busy location, , which is exactly what I was looking for. Meals were all a 10/10 Our host Karin was so helpful and always available to help with any questions. We really fell in love with this country and the people that are lucky enough to live there. I can’t wait to return

Fantastic villa experience

Previous reviews were very accurate. The villa is breathtaking and the staff is outstanding. The meals prepared at the villa are delicious. We ate out only one night as 20-30 drive to restaurants. Definitely need to have the driver and car for all the days. 40 minute drive to a great dive shop if you want to dive

The Perfect Getaway!

We loved every minute of it. The home was beautiful. Having our own bathroom was a big plus. We loved the patio, where we ate every meal, watched every sunset, played cards in the evenings and had our first cup of coffee in the morning. The pool was inviting and the yard immaculately kept. Epi & Ayu made delicious meals and kept the house clean & neat. We loved them! The massages were amazing, almost a daily treat. Juta, our driver, was so accommodating and knowledgeable he suggested things we might not have done, like cooking classes and the new moon ceremony. Both amazing and unforgettable memories. Thank you to all the staff who made this vacation a dream come true❤️

A little piece of Heaven

This was such an amazing place to stay. Where to begin ??, the house and property are beautiful. The bedrooms are comfortable and spacious. The patio was very comfortable. The pool and beach were amazing. The trees & plants were so pretty. Best of all, we experienced NO BUGS! The 2 ladies that took care of the cooking & cleaning were beyond amazing. I felt like royalty. Every single meal was prepared like a 5star restaurant would. We also took advantage of their massage services and were never disappointed. HIGHLY recommend this! They provide security every night and that was very comforting. The property manager was wonderful and checked in on us periodically. The weather was also perfect. Hot but manageable with the breeze off the water and the pool. We hired their driver for our 2week stay and that was the best idea ever! Juta made our stay there 10x better. His driving was great! The roads in Bali are like non I’ve experienced and without him driving I would not have enjoyed my time there nearly as much. He also arranged all of our outings from snorkeling & scuba diving, to waterfall jumping, the monkey forest, to visiting Temples and rice terrace and a few dinners out. Everything we did was GREAT! He knows where to bring guests for the best experiences. I can not say enough great things about this trip. Also our host Karin was great. She responded to every message I sent prior to going, right away and while there. I loved every minute of my experience this property.

True Bali

We were thrilled to have stayed in this Villa for a month. It is beautifully located in the northern part of Bali, right on the beach. The Villa itself is great - lovely garden and pool, which we enjoyed everyday. The true treasure of this Villa is the staff. Ayu and Epi were amazing cooks. They were always prompt and extremely personable. They did a great job keeping everything spotless. We loved getting to know them! Juta our driver was so wonderful. He was available at all times to take us wherever we wanted to go. Driving in Bali is crazy, so having an extremely competent driver is essential. We had a few places in mind that we wanted to see, but he suggested and took us to places we would not have thought of. He’s always in a great mood and he really made things fun. Do yourself a favor and stay here. It’s a great combination of R&R and exploring Bali. What a beautiful island !!!

Wonderful villa in north Bali

Just returned from a lovely week-plus at this property. It is lovely and just as described in the listing. The staff were wonderful - Sepi and Ayu are great cooks and went above and beyond making our stay great. Our driver Jutta was a wonderful guide and had great ideas for places to go. He acted almost like a concierge, arranging reservations for us as well.

The best way to experience Bali

Our stay at Karin's villa was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed the feeling of "being home" after our daily activities, Ayu and Sepi (The cooks) were wonderful, communication was excellent from start to finish, and hiring Juta(The driver) for the two weeks - worked out perfectly.

We had a great time - place was as described and we were well looked after. I asked a bunch of questions before we got there and the owner was quick to respond with really good comprehensive answers. Staff were extremely polite and helpful. The girls looked after us so well we did eat out but they cooked breakfast the whole time we were there and many dinners - all good . We had a driver the whole time we were there (Jutta) I highly recommend him and having a driver. We used the villa as a base and spent nights in Ubud and the south etc . If I come back to Bali I will come here again .

The best you could wish for

The long drive from the airport to the villa is worth every second. For a relaxing holiday the location is perfect along with the staff. Everyone connected to the villa could not do enough for us. A special mention to Ayu who cooked the most amazing food and was extremely attentive. We booked a year in advance and Karin the host was extremely helpful throughout. The whole experience of the holiday was superb and we would highly recommend this villa you will not go wrong.

Wonderful staff but a few issues

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were SUPERSTARS and really help make the trip memorable. The location is quiet and remote which suited us perfectly. We knew that it was a long trip from the airport but definitely worth it. The villa facilities overall were very good but there were a couple of areas that were disappointing. We were not informed of building work ongoing in the adjacent plot. This can obviously happen but it would have been appreciated to know this is advance. The noise was minimal, however, the builders can see into the outdoor shower room in one of the bedrooms. This was not ideal and prevented us from using it. The villa advertised satellite TV however this did not exist. Not a major problem but inaccurately described. We would stay here again but mainly as a result of the friendly staff.

Sehr gut Organisierter Aufenthalt, das Personal hat uns einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt beschert. Ayu und Sepi haben leckeres Essen serviert und das Haus sauber gehalten und auf Wunsch gab es auch eine Massage (€), Juta der Fahrer brachte uns überall hin und hatte auch sehr gute Ideen was man sich ansehen und besuchen kann. Leider war der weg zum Ziel manchmal sehr lang... ;). Buddi der Organisator im hintergrund löste Probleme und betreute das Anwesen so dass wir uns immer shr wohl fühlten. Gerne wieder

Simply paradise

The property was simply stunning. Located in a quiet village directly on the beach. The staff was a dream come true. If you are fortunate enough to be awake before sunset, you will want to walk to the back beach and watch the sun rise each morning. It is breathtaking. The colors are unreal; the quiet and stillness, and sound of the ocean all remind you of your good luck to be in Bali. The fishermen all bring in their catch at night with sounds of celebration. The ladies that tended to the home and prepared all of the dishes felt like family. They payed attention to every detail and were incredibly thoughtful and pleasant. The home was immaculately clean, the dishes prepared were so delicious, and the massages and pedicures are definitely a must-do! The driver, Juta, knew everything about the island. He knew the better places to go and the best time to be there in order to avoid the crowds! From sunrises over the mountains, to temples, to waterfalls, to traditional Balinese dancing, to recommending the best tattoo artist on the island…. he took me on the most amazing adventures and ensured that my trip would leave me with memories that lasted a lifetime. The manager of the home was incredibly responsive and kind. He was able to negotiate the best pricing while booking for us. He was in constant communication with the staff. The security men were welcoming- and very active with patrolling the property. I have already rebooked for next year!

Great quiet vacation spot, a jewel in the Nord of Bali

If you are looking for a quiet perfect place to spend your holidays, away from the tourists, this is the place to be. Great house, 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (outdoors) kitchen, outdoor dining and sitting area, private pool and a well maintained garden. View and sound of the ocean in front of the property. Relax and calm down from everyday stress. Two fantastic Ladies (Ayu and Sepi) will prepare fantastic meals, with local fresh food daily purchased at the local market. You decide how much or how little you want them to prepare for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They will cook the meals, serve it and even wash the dishes at the end. Once you’re done with the dinner, they will leave you for the night and arrive the next morning to prepare your favorite breakfast. French Toast, Omelets, Scrambled eggs with toast and the fresh fruit. No Duran, sorry, but sweet pineapple, delicious papaya, snake fruit as well as dragonfruit, just to mention a few. Try their spring rolls, cap cay, fresh fish and of course nasigoreng. Rooms are cleaned everyday and the spa treatments are very affordable and a must. All done in house, you just relax and enjoy. Budi, the property manager will welcome you with the rest of the staff and is always at your service. Our driver for the entire stay, Juta, loves to take you around and is a real champion driver. He will take you anywhere you want and was a real champion driver. All in all, a wonderful place to spend your holidays. A+
