Welcome to Woodhaven Hideaway, located directly across from the beautiful Woods Pond Beach. The beach is known for its amazing sunsets and the pond itself is a serene setting for kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing and swimming. It is also nestled in the mountains with views of Shawnee Peak, and only minutes from downtown Bridgton , where you can take in an afternoon of perusing the unique shops and a variety of options for grabbing a bite to eat. (just google Beth's Cafe or Vivo Italian Kitchen :D) There is a beautiful park preserve smack dab in the middle of town called Pondicherry Park, that is perfect for a leisurely walk or an adventurous snowshoe. And if you're looking for something a little more challenging, I can guide you to many nearby hiking trails, and of course Shawnee Peak Ski Resort is only minutes away. Naples is also another summer hot spot located just 10 minutes down the road, where Long Lake, Brandy Pond and Sebago Lake all connect, giving you 28 miles of shoreline to explore. Sign up for some fun when you hop on the Songo River Queen for a ferry ride or rent a jet ski for the afternoon. You can also shift directions to the city of Portland and many coastal beaches, which are an easy one hour drive for a great day trip. Whatever adventure you decide, Woodhaven Hideaway will be a warm and cozy welcome, when it's finally time to wind down.

Dream Hideaway

Shenia’s little hideaway was everything I needed and so much more! The cabin was adorable, clean and all of the little decorative touches did not go unnoticed. Communication with Shenia was a breeze, she was very attentive to messages and reached out to be during my stay to check in. She also left me a box of goodies from the local bakery, it was such a thoughtful gesture. I would definitely recommend this rental to others and I would also love to stay again!

Great Getaway

This was a beautiful place for a perfect getaway weekend! From the location to the decor, it was very peaceful and relaxing! Shenia was amazing and even left us a yummy treat! Would definitely recommend!

Ineffable Respite

Shenia was an excellent host! Very responsive, layout, and description were on point. This was a much needed getaway, and she provided endlessly regarding the care, detail, and wholesome energy put forth to this quaint little cabin. Upon opening the door, I was instantly at ease. She was even so thoughtful to provide lovely treats from the local bakery with a handwritten note! Above and beyond for sure! Will ABSOLUETLY be looking to return! Thank you

Honeymoon

I rented this sweet place for my newly married son and his wife. They absolutely loved it! They want to go back again as soon as they can. The owner very helpful and picked up flowers and goodies to make their stay extra special! It was greatly appreciated, and would highly recommend this place for a cozy getaway!

Beautiful and clean space, great location

Shenia was a wonderful host and her space was absolutely gorgeous! Super comfortable and cozy and a beautiful view of the lake across the street. Super close to downtown and other fun attractions as well. Definitely booking this house again in the near future!

Just perfect!

This cabin is all that and then some! Shenia was easy to get in touch with and very responsive, she even left treats for us upon arrival. The place is decorated just perfectly, I never wanted to leave! The bed in the loft is so comfortable I would rent this again just for that alone. Thank you!!

Lovely getaway

We enjoyed our time at this beautiful property. So relaxing we did not want to leave! We would love to come back and stay again. Very clean and well cared for, and the treats left for us by the host were a wonderful touch. Cannot say enough good things.

The best little get away EVERY!

Shenia is an incredible host! She has created the most quaint, comfortable and dreamy little cabin. The energy the moment you drive in is tranquil and only gets better once you get in to the cabin. It was the best escape our family could have ever had. The cabin is VERY clean and organized. I am so glad that we found this place and look forward to returning and making more memories!

A relaxing oasis!

This was the perfect place to relax after a day at Shawnee Peak! Shenia is a wonderful host. She is quick to respond and also very welcoming, making sure I knew the ins and outs of the place. She offered the use of her snow shoes and left some sweet treats from a local bakery. She has impeccable taste; I felt like I was in a home that you’d see on HGTV. It was super cozy and cute and I can’t wait to come again! Thank you Shenia!

Bridgton Cabin

OMG! This cabin is so cute, and a perfect getaway for a couple. My boyfriend and I were so cozy, and were pretty close to Shawnee Peak and Pondicherry Park. We explored, and were right on the water. I would highly recommend staying here, Shenia is a great host and provided us with a little box of goodies when we got there!!

Even cuter than the photos!

We had a great time staying here. It is certainly cozy, but we expected that! The lake across the road was fun to xc ski on. The firepit and back yard were also fun for kids to play around on. Shenia was very responsive and left us yummy cookies from a local bakery!

Happy place - twice is nice!

We've been eagerly counting down the days to our 2nd stay at Woodhaven Hideaway! The cabin is even more quaint and cozy than we remembered and just as magical as our first visit. Shenia is a fabulous host and we are beyond grateful for her hospitality and attention to detail. We are very cautious when it comes to cleanliness/COVID precautions, and I cannot speak highly enough of how impeccably clean and safe we felt during our stay. Shenia made us feel right at home, which enabled us to escape for the weekend with peace of mind. We look forward to coming back again!

Valentine Getaway

We wanted to get away for a couple days to relax and enjoy some snowshoeing and hiking. The Woodhaven Hideaway was everything we wanted and more. Shenia’s cabin is beautiful; thoughtfully decorated and immaculate. She goes above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable and easy as possible, even leaving a delicious treat from a local bakery. The location is great, as well. We were able to walk across the street and spend the morning snowshoeing on Woods Pond. Woodhaven Hideaway is an absolute gem that we can’t wait to go back to!

Cozy cabin

What a beautiful and comfortable cabin for a weekend away! We spent just two nights there with our family and did some skiing nearby at Shawnee peak. It was a frigid weekend in Maine so didn’t get to explore outdoors as much as we would like, but we were happy to be inside and spend time together in the cabin.

Great, cozy cabin

My wife and I spent a long weekend here. The place is very cozy! The gas stove easily keeps the entire cabin at a great temp, decor is nice, wifi works great, and the location is perfect for exploring the foothills and lakes of western Maine. The area around Bridgton is great for hiking and the White Mountains National Forest was an easy day trip. Seems like a great spot to enjoy during any season! We might be back in summer :)

Perfect getaway even better host

Stayed here for a weekend getaway with my partner. Beautifully decorated and cozy cabin excellently cleaned and tidy. Comes with all essential and more! Netflix and Amazon video included. A lot of love put into maintaining this cabin and making sure we were well provided for, even going to the length to gift us a bottle of wine! For every and any potential negative/concern you’ve gone out of your way to provide a thoughtful solution such as. Leaving a space heater just for the bathroom that gets a little too drafty. The running water does have a noticeable amount of iron in it, but you went out of your way to purchase and leave jugs of fresh cold clean water for our use! We would have a hard time finding a more passionate host! Can’t wait to visit during the summer!

Great Couple Retreat

My girlfriend and I stayed here for two nights and it was a wonderful getaway. Very peaceful, quiet, and was smooth from the start. Shenia was an incredible host and is very responsive. I would recommend this to any couple for small group looking for a time of relaxation.

Amazing Stay!

I took my fiancée here for a quick getaway for his birthday and we loved the place! We were so impressed with how clean it was. It’s the most beautiful little cabin with nice touches. AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL, CLEAN, COZY, I could go on and on!!!

This place is absolutely AMAZING! From the moment we drove up the driveway we were in love. Shenia is an outstanding host! There was a welcome note with delicious homemade cookies from a local bakery ❤️ The cabin has everything you’d ever want and most of all an unbelievable cozy feeling. We spent the weekend relaxing, snow shoeing, playing games, watching movies, laughing and making memories! This is the best part of our entire holiday season; said by everyone in our family!! We really can’t wait to return. P.S. There is absolutely nothing but great things to say about this place and our experience 😊

I was born and have lived in Maine my entire life, and recently moved to Bridgton to renovate this little cabin. I love beautiful spaces, natural or hand crafted. My perfect day is spent out on the water or in the woods, followed by a delicious meal shared with the best of friends and topped off gathering around a toasty fire.
