Cottage #8 King Creek Resort & Marina

NEW GETAWAY RATES!! April 5th to April 15th rate will be $105 a night for two people.
If you like to boat, fish, relax on a beach, paddle boat, row a boat or just relax on the large covered deck and look at the lake, this is your welcome place at this cottage. This can sleep up to 4 people with 1 queen and 2 twin beds. Golf courses and Land Between The Lakes Recreation Area are just a few minutes away. This is a perfect place to get away from it all at the lake. Enjoy your screened in porch, super lake view and the bugs are on the outside of the screen.

We also have a 62 slip marina on site with pontoon and fishing boat rentals, boat slip rentals and gas. As always first Bombfire wood is on us, cottage has its own fire ring

Comfortable.

Place was very clean. Quick response from management. It’s a cottage that fit our needs. Nothing fancy, but had it had basically everything needed.

August Lake weekend

We enjoyed the weekend. We really enjoyed the pontoon day and the open communication with marina property managers. I liked they were calling me by name the whole weekend. Hopefully that was a good sign 😂

It was amazing and well organized and friendly

My family really enjoyed the stay. The lodging was clean and very well kept. Organized and the host was very helpful. Told us some great places to go eat and also fishing spots on the lake.

Family fun

We had a blast! Easy access to everything - marina, cabin, boat we rented. Cabin was clean, ac worked great, patio was amazing, loved the fire pit. We rented a boat & tube for 2 days at the marina. The managers were very informative & we had a wide area available of the lake. They even had golf carts available to rent. We will definitely be going back!

Very relaxing stay

Property was great, easy to get around, well maintained. The cabin was clean and well stocked. Owner (Jim) was very friendly, helpful, and always available. Laundry on site was nice too. The only thing that could have made our vacation better was if the fish had been biting! Thanks Jim, we hope to return next year!

Very relaxing trip

Had a great getaway at this cottage. Very clean. Property manager was very accessible and helpful. We thought of one suggestion of the table/ chairs on both deck and screened in porch be maybe changed to bar stool height for better view of lake while outside there. But that is minor. We had a great time. Just enough things to do in the area to allow for plenty of relaxing time as well as seeing sights.

Great place to stay on Kentucky lake.

This place was a great place to stay location was good and the property owner was very responsive and polite. The only problem was all the beds in the house were horrible my wife and I both had problems sleeping on these beds.

As Described

Lodging was just as described. All the workers at the campground and marina were very friendly and helpful. The trailer was very clean and came with a good assortment of cookware. We were close enough to walk to the marina and were lucky enough to get a boat slip for the weekend, unfortunately it was uncovered and no electric, but it was nice to keep it in the water and not have to pull it in and out every time we went to the cabin since there are no curtesy docks. Besides that we have a great weekend and would put this on our list to revisit in the future.

Had a good time, far less traffic on lake during week. Weekends were busier but not too bad. Fishing slow due to water temp.

Very courteous staff trailer was very clean

We enjoyed our stay. Pricing was reasonable. Trailer was very clean, plenty of space for parking . Fish cleaning station on dock. Air conditioning worked great.

The house was a perfect size for our family of 4. The area is quiet and has direct lake access. The home had everything we needed for our three night stay. Check-in was quick and efficient. Would stay again!

Nice location on KY lake

The cottage was excellent for our short fishing trip to Kentucky lake. It's located at the back of a cove so the marina was easy to get in and out of without dealing with tons of boat traffic. The hosts were very accommodating and helpful. The cottage was spotless and everything was in working order.

FISH CAMP

It truly was a fisherman ‘s dream. I never did see the beach. None of the sheets would stay on the bed, because they were flat sheets not fitted. The porch and screened in area were so dirty, you didn’t want to sit out there. Sorry, but not my idea of relaxation. Oh yes, you only had “6” TV channels. Would not go there again.
