We stayed two weeks in August with very hot days, still very pleasant due to the near forest and shadowy trees on the very nice and green area that belongs to the house. People who like life at the country side with the sound of nature around will love this wonderful place. The little house is very cute and equipped with everything you need for a vacation. At most, you might run out of spoons before the dishwasher has finished its next cycle. The use of the rooms is slightly different in the photos. There is now a dining table by the large fireplace, and the living room has been moved to the rear area, which is also more practical. Besides, the outdoor area was mauch greener than on the pics :-)For shopping, restaurants or visits/museums you will need a car, as they are all at least some kilometers away. For a bath in the sea, we chose Trouville which is a good 45 Minutes car ride away.Communication with the owners was cordial, straightforward, very quick, and always helpful. Super easy check-in and check-out.We enjoyed every day!Just a hint: garbage collection seems to happen on Fridays, not on Mondays, as indicatetd in the info folder in the house.

Lovely well kept old house in a beautiful area. Very complete and cosy interior. Good quality beds! 3rd bedroom is a sofa bed in the hallway.

Fabulous place for a staycation or to day trip

We had a spacious, well presented and clean gîte. The home is tastefully decorated, lots of interesting decor! The kitchen was incredibly usable for making full meals or sides to accompany grilled meats - we did leave BBQ tools for other guests to take advantage of! We knew the bed linen was afresh as it was left for us to make up the beds and that was a nice touch! A lovely place we will visit again with our

Un Week-end d'anniversaire au top

J'ai loué la maison durant un weekend pour fêter mon anniversaire avec des amis. C'est une maison agréable, très bien équipée avec des petites surprises qui font la différence (vélos, console de jeu, platine vinyle). l'endroit est reposant et propice aux soirées barbecue ! Enfin, Johanna et Julien sont des propriétaires charmants, arrangeants, qui donnent envie qu'on revienne passer un weekend dans cette maison !

Excellent séjour au calme en famille

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, la maison est très bien équipée et décorée avec goût. L'immense jardin, sa balançoire et le barbecue ont fait le bonheur des petits et des grands! Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir!

N'hésitez pas, foncez!!

Une petite maison typique normande mélangeant une décoration à la fois traditionnelle et moderne. L'extérieur est au top pour les enfants et pour les animaux. L'environnement est ressourçant, apaisant et rythmé aux chants des oiseaux. La maison est super bien équipée, on ne manque de rien. Johanna est gentille, serviable et disponible. Vraiment foncez aussi bien pour les petits que pour les grands séjours cette maison fera votre bonheur. Nous reviendrons c'est une certitude! Encore merci pour tout.

Wonderful and calm

We loved our 5 night stay at this charming cottage. It was quiet and peaceful, warm and welcoming, well-equipped and conveniently located to explore Normandy. Joanna and her husband were great hosts and we her personal recommendations.

dog friendly accommodation

The owners were very friendly and helpful. The charming house was very clean. The huge fenced off garden was perfect for our dog. The small balcony perfect for chilling out in the evening. One small disadvantage for less mobile people is that there is no upstairs toilet and it is a quite steep staircase. But so peaceful, no noise at night, perfect to rewind the batteries. We recommend it . M&H&N

Lovely accommodation in peaceful setting

As well as the friendly and helpful welcome from our hosts, the property itself is lovely. Spacious accommodation for the two of us and extensive grounds, with so many things to make our stay comfortable. From the well equipped kitchen, including a coffee machine, to the sun loungers, and from bikes available to use to the bluetooth music system to play our own music. The area itself is well worth the visit, with several lovely local towns and villages, some with weekly markets and the lovely Abbey at Le Bec-Hellouin. We travelled with our dog, who enjoyed her special welcome treats from our hosts, and there were lots of lovely walks by the river and along the Voie Vert old railway line.

Paisisble et confortable

Nous avons été très bien reçus par Johana. Elle nous a même laisser du pain et des oeufs frais, un vrai délice. Le feu de cheminée le soir et les repas sur la terrasse ont fait de notre séjour une totale réussite. Nous reviendrons certainement.
