Peace, Privacy & Proximity! Entire 3 level house is located walking distance from Squaw Village. 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathroom *(with an extra loft area with a futon and downstairs rec area that has another futon bed).
Downhill and AT Skiing, dog sledding or snowshoeing steps from the Village. Hiking/biking from the front door into Shirley Canyon up to the Pacific Coast Trail with epic water falls along the way.
Open Kitchen with granite countertops, dishwasher and garage disposal. plus washer and dryer.
Hot tub located on awesome deck overlooking fabulous views of KT-22 *deck has an outdoor grill only during the Summer months.

Comfortable A-Frame Cabin

We absolutely loved our stay! The entire place is spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed cooking dinners every night and there was plenty of seating (there is a leaf in the dining room table, bar stools, and outdoor patio furniture). Can't beat the hot tub!

Comfortable and relaxing stay!

We found the property to be relaxing, comfortable, and in a great location! It was nice to be close to Truckee and the lake without all the traffic of being closer to the lake. The scenery is beautiful with Squaw out the back. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again!

Family vacation-mostly adults, a 1 year old, 1 dog

We pulled up to a quaint neighborhood overlooking Squaw Valley and the village. It was a cute A framed house with plenty of common areas, a hot tub, deck, open kitchen and family/dining area, with an upstairs we used as a master with a loft above that. Downstairs was another common area and 2 more rooms (1 with a bunk bed and additional bed the other with a queen/full bed). There were large windows with lots of light and a bear fence that could be turned on/off. The beds were comfortable and the house was a short drive to beaches and tons of activities. The kitchen was stocked with cooking pots/pans/etc, which is always a plus, as well as the the washer/dryer too. Dave was fast and easy to communicate with, I would definitely stay at his peaceful Tahoe cabin again!

Convenient large home but not luxurious

Comfortable conveniently located home on hill across from KT22. Home was well equipped with everything we needed but also filled with owners possessions. Drawers, cabinets, refrigerator contained lots of items making it hard to store our stuff - felt like we we staying in someone’s home who lived there instead of a VRBO. Many windows were not functional and missed window coverings (uncomfortable for ground floor bedrooms and very bright for upstairs bedroom. Upstairs bedroom was very hot even when running fans constantly (weather was quite hot). Owner was very nice and quick to respond.

I'm from Walnut Creek, live in Orinda CA full-time with my wife and 2 kids who all love skiing and hiking almost as much as I do ;-)
