Great location, unresponsive host
The host neglected to provide the entry code to the rental after I booked the property for our anniversary. I messaged Mr. Rafael letting him know that we would be arriving around 3am so he could send me the door code. No response from host. When we arrived at 3am after a long day of travel, we still hadn't received the entry code. Security, my wife and I called him multiple times over the course of 30-45 minutes. Mr. Rafael finally responded but gave us the wrong code. We had to call him again. He seemed upset and he told me he was going to walk me through the process of unlocking the door. After several attempts, Mr. Rafael unlocked it remotely. He later text me the correct door code.
The shower had not been cleaned properly and the shower knob fell off, so it made it a harder to operate the shower.
The iron had residue built up on it so my wife couldn't iron the dress she wanted to wear for our anniversary. She tried contacting the host and sent him pictures but didn't get a response from Mr. Rafael.
One of the mirrored sliding closet doors came off the track and almost fell on my wife.
The remote for the sliding gate never worked.
There is also mold in the corners of the master bedroom.
I sent the host a message through Vrbo outlining all the issues. It took him several hours to respond. When he did, his response was "You have the option of an early check out." There was no attempt on Mr. Rafael's part to resolve any of the problems we had with his rental.
