The beautifully renovated Lyndon Guesthouse is 3,800 square feet of the perfect combination of rustic farmhouse and sleek modern industrial. A sunken living room, full kitchen, twin dining rooms, and game room accentuate the five suites exquisitely. Relax inside, or unwind on the charming front porch or the inviting patio while the little ones enjoy the large shaded backyard. Taking a short walking trip downtown, you'll find a lovely coffeehouse and bookstore, among other restaurants and businesses. Just nearby are two federal reservoirs, beckoning you for a walk through the trails or a day out on the water. Make your trip one to remember in the superb Lyndon Guesthouse in the small town of Lyndon, Kansas.

Our family greatly enjoyed our stay! Very cozy living spaces... loved the ping pong table... loved that each bedroom has an en suite bathroom... especially appreciated the close access to the lake/Eisenhower State Park. Carla was incredibly responsive and helpful!

We booked the place for our friends' getaway--8 of us. We were SO pleased with this house! Having two big tables allowed us to eat at one and keep a jigsaw puzzle going on the other. The seating options in the living room gave us all a place to sit and visit together. The rooms, especially the king-bed rooms, were so spacious. Each bedroom has an attached bathroom--fabulous! The weather didn't allow us to enjoy the firepit, but that area looks great, too. We loved it and will definitely be back!

Great home for a big family

We stayed at the house for our son’s wedding at the ranch. Everything about the house was better than expected. Beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. Comfortable beds and pillows. We would stay again.

Beautiful home!

This home worked so well for our annual work retreat. Having on suite bathrooms for each bedroom was wonderful, and the home is so spacious yet cozy! We can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful home near Pomona Lake

We had a wonderful family gathering at the comfortable, spacious house in Lyndon. Very clean, bright and welcoming. We loved having three king beds for our gathering and really appreciated that each bedroom had its own bathroom. Great kitchen. Lots of room for visiting. We also enjoyed the fire pit.

Perfect venue for our gathering.

We were looking for a place to gather to do team building and remove ourselves from the chaos. This place was lovely! There were 5 adults in gi all had a very comfortable and spacious bedroom with a private bath. The gathering spaces both inside and outside were great! Highly recommend.

Best house!

I rented this house for my bridesmaids and I to stay in the night before my wedding and then we go ready for the wedding the next day here. The house is so beautiful and great for a larger group. Location was great. Carla was always responsive and so great to work with!

Friends Weekend

This house was perfect for our Friend group of 10! Plenty of rooms and it was so nice to have a full bathroom in each room. Spacious and well decorated. I do wish the kitchen had more pans, bowls, etc for cooking purposes when you have such a large group. The town was cute and everyone was so friendly!

LOVE THIS HOME!!

We stayed here 3 times so far, and loved it MORE & MORE each time we stayed! Or guest LOVE this home as well, and feel so at home when they are there. Plenty of room to spread out, AMAZING host, and LOVELY HOME.. what more could you ask for? We will continue to pick this home to stay when we’re wanting to have a family get together or getaway. Perfection!

We were on an extended road trip and I found this lovely property that was not too far from Topeka. It was worth every second of the extra drive time. This home was spotless and beautiful. We wish we had more time to spend in this home as it was truly beautifully designed and so much attention paid to details! Thank you for a lovely time spent in your home!

This home was very clean and comfortable. It looked just like the pictures on Expedia. We were warned about the steep stairs, they weren't kidding. We loved having so many bathrooms for everyone to get ready for the wedding at once. The only thing that would have made our stay better would be if the fireplace worked. I'd love to gather the family there for Christmas sometime.

Beautiful Home - Gracious Hospitality

We had a group of 7 women. Everyone slept comfortably. We utilized the firepit area a lot throughout the weekend to gather and get work done. The neighborhood hen visited and hung out with us for a while. The living and dining areas fit us all and were very welcoming. The house was beautifully decorated for fall and was a nice added touch. Thank you for all the beautiful work you put into this old house. We enjoyed it immensely.

Lake Vacation

This house was phenomenal! Plenty of room for 3 different families. It had lots of games to choose from, plenty of gathering space in several different rooms! The best part was each bedroom had their own bathrooms! Made getting around every morning so much easier! We would recommend to anyone! We even had a flat tire on a vehicle and Carla went above and beyond to help us get it fixed when the shop was normally closed.

I grew up in Melvern, Kansas, but am currently residing and have chosen to make Lyndon my home. One of my greatest passions is fixing up old homes, which I had the pleasure of doing with the Guesthouse. I have a strong drive to improve my community and thought that bringing the Guesthouse to town was one way to help my town thrive. I have decided to take a break from renovations and enjoy my oldest son’s senior year of high school with my two younger sons as well. If you are travelling through the area, I hope you choose to make my hometown your home away from home in the Lyndon Guesthouse.
