An extremely beautiful and interesting place.so much history and quality, space and atmosphere. The swimming pool very popular with the children. Plenty of places to get together , play or cook, but also to be quiet and read a book! We liked the absence of screens and generous supply of fans too!A v minor request would be a full canopy over the outside table by the BBQ, and a better supply of spices as not many in the shop.We have also put a sink plug in the kitchen, and appreciated the compost buckets! A glass disposal container might be good too.Parking is a bit of an issue and should probably be mentioned on the website.This was an important event for our family, it had far more character than the website revealed and Gaby was always friendly and helpful .

Wonderful week in Lagorce!

We loved the house and we loved the owner, Gaby! The bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen was beautifully stocked. We all played table tennis/ping pong and enjoyed the gorgeous pool which was just the thing during the heat wave. Gaby was such a genial host, on site when you needed her, but invisible otherwise. She steered us toward terrific outings and would have been happy to help us arrange a catered dinner or in home massages (Sadly, we ran out of time for both-next time maybe!) The village of Lagorce is extremely picturesque and has everything you need—an épicerie, à pizzeria, a fine restaurant, vineyards all around. And the people who live there are so kind. I cannot say enough good things about the house—the outdoor areas are great, the views are spectacular, and the furnishings wonderful. If you are looking for a house rental that is off the beaten track, this is it! BONUS: THE WIFI WAS GREAT!! It enabled several people to work remotely at the same time.

Notre séjour du 23 août au 30 août 2025. Groupe de 10 personnes. L'hébergement est conforme aux détails de l'annonce. Les pièces spacieuses, très bien équipées (literie et vaisselle). Maison ancienne très rustique et confortable.Nous avons eu un accueil très chaleureux par la propriétaire qui est restée à notre écoute pendant la durée de notre séjour.Région très agréable à visiter (Ruoms, La grotte Chauvet 2, Vogüe, Le Pont d'Arc....).Location à conseiller très vivement.Attention pas du tout accessible pour les personnes à mobilité réduite;

Une superbe et grande maison chaleureuse

La maison est très grande: nous étions 12 et n'avons jamais manqué de place. La maison comprend beaucoup d'endroits où s'isoler et se reposer. La décoration est très belle pour cette maison en pierre. Les sanitaires sont très bien. Le jardin est un havre de paix avec légumes et herbes. La piscine est l'endroit idéal pour se rafraîchir et pour les jeux des enfants. Le village de Lagorce est beau et agréable. Enfin, les propriétaires sont formidables. De vraies belles vacances en synthèse.

Ein wunderbarer Ort ❤️

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in dem Haus. Es ist mit viel Liebe hergerichtet und ausgestattet, mit vielen gemütlichen Ecken und schönen Zimmern. Neben dem Pool war unser Highlight der Pizzaofen! Gaby ist eine sehr netten Gastgeberin mit tollen Tipps und immer erreichbar - danke dir! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder .

Wunderschönes Haus

Unser Aufenthalt mit 4 Erwachsenen und 5 Kindern in der ersten Juliwoche war wunderbar. Das Haus und besonders auch der terrassiere Garten waren zauberhaft schön. Die Vermieterin Gaby ist überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit gewesen.

Vacances/randos entre amis

Séjour mi-vacances, mi-randos entre amis (13) super agréable. Les paysages decouverts lors de nos randos ou sorties touristiques sont superbes, nous avons rencontrés des producteurs et artisans locaux et admire quelques jolis villages typiques de la région La maison louée est spacieuse, la literie est bonne, la vaisselle est très adaptée au nombre de personnes hébergées. L'accueil de Gaby et de son compagnon est fort agréable. Ils sont disponibles et répondent toujours rapidement à toute question. Nous les remercions encore une fois.

Fantastisch familiehuis!

Vanaf de eerste tot de laatste minuut hebben wij (ouders met 3 volwassen kinderen met partners en 3 kleinkinderen) genoten van het geweldige huis! Mooie authentieke details, leuke slaapkamers en badkamers, geweldige (!) keuken waarin niets ontbrak, kamer met terras eraan, schitterende trappen naar de tuin met het leuke, beetje frisse, zwembad. De ruimte waar de pizzaoven staat is idyllisch. Gaby is een schat en Lagorce en omgeving erg leuk. Kortom een super vakantie in Bellegarde gehad .

Stunning House!

We were a party of 6 and had a wonderful week at this property. Gaby was attentive, helpful and there whenever we needed her. The house is rustic and elegant; we had wonderful evenings on the terrace with the mountain view and in the covered terrace with its pizza oven. Authentische Unterkunft im Bergdorf

Wir haben mit 9 Erwachsenen (je 4 Eltern mit5 erwachsenenKindern) und unserem Hund eine wunderschöne Woche in Lagorce verbracht. Das Haus hat eine sehr individuelle authentische Atmosphäre, einen wunderschönen Pool, viele verwunschene Plätze im Garten, Feigenbäume zum Ernten. Wir haben uns sofort sehr wohlgefühlt. Lagorce ist ein ursprünglich gebliebenes Dorf. Im Ort gibt es eine leckere Pizzeria und ein sehr gutes Restaurant, nicht zu vergessen: tolle Croissants in der Epicerie. Unbedingt sollte man auch dem Seidenraupenmuseum einen Besuch abstatten und auf dem Sentier botanique wandern. Frau Chudalla hat alles noch getoppt: eine ganz unkomplizierte Gastgeberin, jederzeit mit Tipps, Empfehlungen oder sogar in der Organisation eines Arztbesuchs behilflich. Man fühlt sich sehr willkommen. Einchecken und Abreise war ganz unkompliziert. Wenn man eine authentische Unterkunft in einem Bergdorf sucht, keinen Urlaub von der Stange, ist man dort genau richtig. Wir können das Ferienhaus nur empfehlen.

Une grande maison de rêve

Un accueil chaleureux, dans une maison pour 14 personnes, jeunes aussi bien que les grand parents ou tous trouvaient la space, soit dans la très belle piscine, la table de ping-pong, le jardin pour se dévertir et en même temps assez de possibilités de se détendre dans un coin plus calme! Notre famille a eu une vacance splendide dans ce très beau cadre... Félicitations pour les propri étaires!

Week in lagorce

We all enjoyed staying in this roomy , relaxed and beautiful house in small village, which had been rented by two separate families we knew. . Lots of space and shady corners inside and out and small but fresh pool , both very necessary in the intense heat Gaby was very welcoming and accommodating , and i would certainly recommend the house to others

Wonderful house in a quiet corner of the Ardeche

Bellegarde is a lovely characterful house which is spacious and comfortable, set in an attractive village in the Ardeche. It was August and hot but we had fun times by the pool, swimming in the Chassezac river, going on hikes, visiting Thines with its 12th century church and a market at Joyeuse. Gaby and Kiril were delightful and friendly hosts.

A great place for a family reunion.

We were a family of 14, a mixture of adults, children and 2 dogs from the UK and the US. Gaby was on hand to help with everything and able to advise us of some good places to go and things to do. We loved relaxing and playing in the pool and the garden was a great place to explore. We spent a day at the river, jumping off rocks and swimming as the water was warm enough, we walked to a local winery and tasted and bought some lovely wine. The walk we did with the dogs every day was a fun hike. We made great use of the pizza oven with some delicious pizzas, as well as the local bakery for morning croissants. Thank you Gaby, your place is great, we had a really lovely time.

ein bezauberndes Haus, ein verwunschener Garten - viel Potenzial

Das alte Landhaus liegt in einer Gegend, die an Möglichkeiten aktiv zu sein nichts zu wünschen übrig lässt: Wandern, Paddeln, Höhlen und hübsche, alte Städtchen besichtigen, bunte Märkte, canyoning, mit einem Esel wandern, gut essen und trinken ... Unsere Gastgegeberin Gaby, die nebenan wohnt, gab uns begeisterte Tipps und reagierte gerne und schnell auf unsere Wünsche. Ja, wir hatten Wünsche: Nicht alles funktionierte von Anfang an, die Handtücher waren alt und einige hatten Löcher, die alten Möbel passen zwar nett in den verwunschenen Garten und in das alte Haus, sind aber nicht komfortabel und manche kaputt. Wir empfanden einen Unterschied zwischen dem Anschauen dieser Dinge, teils Trödel, und dem Darin-wohnen. Highlights sind die Terrasse mit einem freien, weiten Blick in die Landschaft, der saubere und genial eingebaute Pool, das geschmackvolle Bad im unteren Stockwerk und die prächtige, voll funktionsfähige Küche; das konnten wir genießen. Vielleicht hatten wir etwas Pech: In den Wochen zuvor hatte es viel geregnet, so dass die Mücken aktiv und wir zerstochen waren. Die Handtücher sollen nach Auskunft von Gaby für die nächsten Gäste gegen neue ausgetauscht werden. Wir waren 1 Woche vor der Hauptsaison dort. Wir Mieter und unsere französischen Gäste wünschen den sympathischen Eigentümern viel Erfolg mit der Perfektionierung ihres Hauses und einen Ruck, den einen oder anderen liebgewonnenen Trödel loszulassen.

Traumhafte Tage

Wir haben 14 traumhafte Tage verbracht. Die Vermieterin ist ein wahrer Schatz. Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen.Garten und Pool laden zur Entspannung ein. Die Ruhe ist wohltuend. Alles in allem steht fest, dass wir es sehr empfehlen können und immer wieder gerne dort Urlaub machen. Wir freuen uns auf 2018. Liebe Grüße aus dem Ruhrpott.

Beautiful house in lovely village

We stayed for a week with my whole family (15 of us) and his house was just perfect. Space for everyone with places to be together and places to find your own little nook to read or chill out. The kitchen had everything you would want to cook up a storm and more. Gaby was a great host - there when you needed her but not intrusive. The village is charming with an epicerie where you can get fresh bread and croissants (delivered fresh every morning if you put in an order the night before), and plenty of other local delices. The restaurant / cafe is excellent and the whole place surrounded by a mixture of olive groves, vineyards, pasture and woods. A short drive to the nearest 'big' village where you can buy any thing else you need as well as the departure point for canoeing and exploring the Ardeche River. Really a delightful stay and we hope to return one day.

Danke für eine tolle Woche!

Liebe Gabi, die Woche war einfach super! Vielen Dank für die geführte Wanderung zu den schönsten Ausblicken, die Organisation der Einblicke beim Ziegenkäse-Hof, den tollen Steinofen-Pizza-Abend und das leeressen des Feigenbaumes! Wir haben die Woche sehr genossen und das tolle Haus mit dem tollen Garten und Pool war der beste Platz für uns 10+Baby, um den Urlaub zu verbringen. Viele Grüße von den Schwesternhäuslern aus Hannover!

Que du bonheur ...

Le charme de cette maison est vraiment authentique, une véritable évasion. Le jardin est une pure merveille pour les petits et les grands. Et cerise sur le gateau le village de Lagorce est charmant et permet de rayonner facilement aux alentours. Nous reviendrons, ça c'est sur !
