Beautiful Lake House! 4 Bedroom, 3 Bathroom

This beautiful lake house is practically two houses on top of each other, both floors have kitchens and big living rooms! Plenty of room for activities and enjoying the beautiful view of Donner Lake. Take a warm rest from the nearby slopes in the winter and enjoy the beautiful lake in the summer. The cabin is located less than ten minutes from town, which has lots of shops and various boutiques and places to eat. Less than a ten minute walk to the beach and a ten minute drive to town and the slopes, can't get any better than that! Free Wi-Fi and cable is included, we ask that you please smoke outside and treat this home as if it was your mamma's.

Great for 2 families

Great for kids to have a separate space downstairs. Beautiful view! My only complaint is there was only 1 wineglass (but 3 wine openers…LOL). (We adapted…)

Fun time in Truckee!

Great house, great location with BEAUTIFUL views! Spent the end of January with my family of ten (ton of snow), and we all were very comfortable in this two level home. Loved the fire pit on the spacious balcony, while star gazing...and the view of Donner Lake was to die for! Short 10 minute drive to downtown Truckee, 5 minute drive to Donner Memorial, and a 15 minute drive to Boreal ski resort (where we snowboarded all Saturday). The house was also very clean, no problem with hot water, and the beds were quite comfortable. 5 out of 5!

Needs Improvement

Unfortunately, my wife and I were disappointed with this cabin. There were only 3 of us. So, we only occupied the upstairs. The master bedroom had 2 twins acting as a king and was extremely uncomfortable, as well as the pillows (no one slept well). There was no dresser to put away clothes, and the showers were either hot or cold. The kitchen was decent, but the dishwasher was not fixed and would tip over. The living room couch was small and a bit dirty. It definitely needs some updating, especially for what we paid. Other than that, the view and location were great.

Wonderful memory

We really liked the property and the place. The lake view and the mountains view from the house was mesmerizing. Kids really liked the house as it had two floors. It kind of gave them and us some privacy and fun time. The heater was great for the weather. Backyard with snow was great fun kids and us. The property owner was very responsive to our queries.
