Awkward room layout

The property was very clean. It was nice to have a kitchen area. The set up of the space was a little awkward- you need to walk through one bedroom to get to the second bedroom. This is probably fine for a family, but we were staying with another couple. Also the heat is difficult to regulate. The thermostat is in the main room, but the heat pumps directly into the bedrooms, so the main room was always cold, and the bedrooms a little warm for sleeping. Overall the location was great and it was well priced for the amount of space we had!

Overall Average

This unit served our family of 5 adequately. Having the two bathrooms, full kitchen and sitting area made it more comfortable than a regular hotel room. I think the rate for the value was appropriate. However, be aware that there is Not Much storage space for bags and luggage or for sitting belongings down really anywhere. There are no closets or cabinets in the bedrooms or shelves in the bathrooms. The bedrooms are cramped, not much walking space around the beds. Fyi, the mattresses are firm. There are a few things that need to be tended to. The toilet in the small bathroom is not stable...it rocks. The curtain in the smaller bedroom is streaked up with a black stain...needs to be replaced. The couch has an arm rest that is broken down. A window in the kitchen area is missing a blind. The refrigerator has some kind of leak on the inside. The tall kitchen table with stools is not child friendly! The table is a bit wobbly and just overall not very comfortable for anyone. Housekeeping serve was very nice and very good!

Great motel suite

The place was mostly as advertised. The location was great. The rooms were clean. However, I was not aware that this was part of a motel (maybe I missed this in the listing). Also, I sent a message to the contact person with a question a day or so before arrival and received no reply. The staff on site were helpful. Overall, it was a wonderful stay. We would definitely go back.
