Multifamily Fun House 3 Miles to BelleAyre - Large game room/living room loft

Very rare large home, close to all in the heart of Catskills. Open floor plan with large second floor loft that provides a separate space for the kids (or adults), keeping everyone happy and entertained. Five bedrooms, three baths (all on the first floor), two living rooms, game room and two additional private sleeping areas in the loft provide space and flexibility. There are also fun sleeping/hang out cubbies as well. Includes a home office in a quiet part of the loft with large monitor and strong WiFi. Game room loft keeps everyone occupied - Ski ball, shuffle board and poker table.

Large TV with cable and internet channels (Netflix, Hulu, Amazon), additional TV in the upstairs loft. DVD player with movies, board games, cards, dice, etc. Also, have extensive collection of outside games.

A cooks kitchen with large island is fully stocked for those large family meals or to bake cookies.

Hardwood throughout, leather and wood surfaces keep it easy to clean. Space is modern but feels warm and friendly. Fireplace is a major attraction for all. Wood is provided and the fireplace will be cleaned in between.

We just recently updated the inside to make it VBRO friendly for our guests. We have also added a new driveway, volleyball court, firepit and basketball outside. While we are on Route 28, the front part of the house is a separate (and empty) owners apartment - adding more privacy. The back of the house has the stream and mountains with 3 acres on the side for the kids to explore/play.

If you are looking to ski or need a much larger space to be together... this is the perfect house for you.

Front apartment is empty and may be available for larger groups for an additional fee.

Great stay

Great House for 3 Families Going Skiing

The house and location were perfect for our three families with a 5 minute drive to Belleayre. The hosts were easy to communicate with and we love the "welcome snacks" they provided as well as how well stocked the house was. We will definitely stay there again.

Surprise Birthday Ski Party

This house is AMAZING! The best stocked rental I have ever experienced, the owners provide so many amazing touches to this property. Kitchen, laundry room, bathrooms, game room all fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. Plenty of towels, sheets, pillows, blankets, board games, coffee makers, crockpots, cutting boards, serving dishes, spices, stocked mini fridge, bottled water, so much more. I rented the place to surprise my husband with a birthday ski weekend with friends. We had 13 adults staying comfortably at the house, plenty of space and beds. The owners left an overstuffed welcome basket filled with goodies and a special treat for my husband. Belleayre is 3 minutes down the road, perfect location for a weekend full of skiing. The views are amazing, we took a walk back by the fire pit and saw some wildlife. The fireplace inside is beautiful, great chill atmosphere with full shuffelboard and skeeball in the loft. The owners are very responsive, so incredibly easy to work with and overly accommodating. On the day of checkout it had snowed overnight, they were there bright and early plowing the driveway and shoveling walkways. I only wish I could give this place more stars!

Perfect ski getaway with kids

We loved this house so much!!! We had 3 families, which included 6 adults and 8 kids...we had more than plenty of space!! The kids loved playing in the loft. The kitchen was well stocked with spices and pans etc. 2 different coffee machines and coffee cups were provided. The kids loved the welcome basket of snacks which we also used to carry along while skiing at Bellyeare. Location is so close to the mountain which really helped when you have little kids. Fire pit to make s'mores was awesome and the owners even provided smore sticks! Laundry machines were great. Nest thermostat made it easy to use. Zero complaints! Would love to come back here!!

Wonderful family retreat

We had our whole family together (our children and grandchildren) and the house was very special. The owner provided anything you could think of and was in touch with us. A great family stay in a wonderful house.

50th Anniversary Family Celebration

"We had eight adults and a 10 year old grandson. There was more than enough room for all to be comfortable. Checking in was seamless. The house was spotless and so well stocked. Eyes lit up when the goodie basket was spotted! Too much really. There were games galore, more than we could possibly play. Sitting around the fire eating s'mores, making meals in the kitchen which had any gadget you could want, grilling on the deck.....all things we enjoyed. We hiked, rode the gondola, played minigolf and enjoyed the beautiful mountains. Thank you Dorothy."

Wonderful property

My family stayed over the weekend of June 10th for a family wedding nearby. We could not say enough great things about this house. We were greeted with an amazing basket of snacks and goodies and just a great feeling of warmth. If you are looking for a place to stay in this area you will not find a better house than this. The owners were attentive leading up to our stay and responsive to any question. Everything was just perfect.

Excellent multi-family house for Belleayre skiing

Loved it. Stayed with 3 families with many children. Everyone had a wonderful time. Nicely updated kitchen, well stocked. Lots of bedrooms for people to spread out. Indoor fireplace and outdoor firepit. Lots and lots of games for the kids to play. 5 minute drive to Belleayre for skiing. Dorothy was a very organized host. Would love to come back!

Amazing Ski Trip Location

Overall we had a great stay and we were amazed by how fully stocked the home was with not only the basic essentials, but much more. The close proximity to the mountain resorts made it an easy commute to maximize your time. Will definitely recommend this home to anyone trying to have a nice weekend at the slopes.

Well stocked and a great location

Stayed with friends and families while skiing belleayre mountain. The location is incredible, maybe five minutes from the mountain and right on the highway, no steep, icy driveways like so many other houses in the area. The house was spacious and very well supplied including a huge welcome basket of snacks and candies provided by the owner. We had a little trouble with the fireplace but that might have been because of the insanely cold temps while we were there. Still, despite thirty below wind chills the house was warm and comfortable. We hope to return.

Great ski house

Great for our ski weekend with another family. Plenty of room, great toys for the kids, and a nice great room for hanging out. It's super close to Bellayre and good for take in or cooking.

Great NYE skiing getaway

We really enjoyed our 3 days at Dorothy's home. The proximity to Belleayre Mountain made skiing there very convenient, and Dorothy provided several recommendations for local stores and restaurants. The space was perfect for our 6 adults, 4 teens and 2 children; the room layouts were very accommodating. Dorothy goes above and beyond with all that's provided in the home: food, toiletries, dishware etc. There is even a fully-stocked game closet and laundry room with ample supplies. We had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend this host/property!

Lodging for Wedding at Plattekill Mountain

I booked this vrbo for my parents and their family to stay while they came up for my wedding at Plattekill Mountain. The process from start to finish was so accommodating and efficient thanks to Dorothy! The information packet that was sent about the booking was so detailed and covered all our questions about the house. And when we did have a question Dorothy quickly responded. My parents and their family members were blown away by how clean and beautifully decorated the house was. Staying at this vrbo was a big highlight and comfort for my family during my wedding weekend. If we are ever in the area again we would definitely book this vrbo again ! Thanks for the great memories!

A Cozy and Comfortable Family Catskill Getaway

For our first time in Catskills, we were very satisfied and enjoyed our extended family vacation at this Pinehill property The house was very spacious and accommodating for a party of 11. The backyard view from house, firepit, was breathtaking. and peaceful. The girls enjoyed playing in the stream and field which kept them distracted and away from Rt 28. The property owners were very easy to work with and excellent hosts to ensure we got the most of our vacation. The welcoming gift basket of goodies was a hit and nice treat. The only suggestion we would have is to ensure you inquire or learn more about the property location before booking, especially for your first visit to Catskills.

Wonderful Stay!

We had a wonderful time here! The hosts Dorothy and Phil were beyond gracious - they thought of everything! The kitchen was better stocked than my own! Everything was new and having the skee ball and shuffleboard saved an on-off rainy day. The property backs up to a creek which was fun to explore, and the volleyball/badminton area and beautiful fire pit provided lots of things to do without leaving the comforts of the home! We had 5 families and all had plenty of space. Thank you!

Great place for a family vacation

This was a wonderful place to stay with our family of 3 generations and various ages. There was so much to do right there and nearby was a small lake with a beach and many other activities. It was absolutely perfect for our family. The host, Dorothy, is such a nice person and very lovely to communicate with. The kids in our group were so excited because she left a huge basket of goodies for them.

Perfect place for a group of friends' weekend away!

The property is absolutely amazing, has everything you can ask for. From a basketball hoop outside, to shuffleboard or a poker table or the various nerf guns indoor, there's a variety things to do / games to play on the property. My friends and I would absolutely come back if we are ever in the area again!

The name of the house says it all- Family Fun House- and it was!!!

Our host Dorothy was very responsive and helpful. Loved the snack basket!! We had 3 generations staying at the house and everyone had a great time. The outdoor and indoor games were a great hit with the young adults and us less young adults! Loved the fire pit and volleyball. We had so much room inside to watch baseball, play poker or just sit and read. Highly recommend for a long weekend or week stay. Thank you Dorothy!

Perfect Family Getaway

Everything about this listing was accurate and as promised. The house was warm and welcoming and we were surprised with a goodies basket upon our arrival. Family Celebration

This property was perfect for our large group - 8 adults and 6 children ages 2 through 8. Everyone had comfortable accommodations and the house was full of fun activities. We arrived to a basket filled with goodies for the little ones and a kitchen stocked with items that made it easy to prepare our meals and included items we may have forgotten. The proximity to skiing, hiking, and towns to explore made this the perfect place for our winter family reunion and celebration. We ate most of our meals in the house and enjoyed the camaraderie supplied by the gorgeous fireplace and the open kitchen. Children found places to entertain themselves and were never bored. Dorothy was very responsive to any questions/concerns and very helpful in suggesting local restaurants and attractions.

My dad purchased this property and mobile home over 20 years ago. Then he built the current home to have enough space to welcome all of his family and friends. We have spent New Years with over 20 people for many years. My kids grew up spending winter weekends/vacations there, both learning to ski in the amazing Belleayre ski school. Recently my dad stopped coming up and the kids are grown, so we decided to update the house and share it with new families to enjoy like we did. My husband and family still enjoy going up to breath the mountain air, eat at the amazing restaurants and walk around the quirky villages. Its the perfect get away from LI and NYC. Having lived on LI and worked in NYC, we recently moved up to the house and are creating a small owners apartment in the front (that we vacate when the house is rented) I love sitting in the family room by the fire and binge watch Netflix. We have great internet, so I can work from the small office on the second floor so I am not interrupted by any of our family/friends that may be visiting. We just welcomed our new granddaughter and am looking forward to her starting ski school next year

Large family friendly home. Plenty of space and so many fun things to do. Fireplace is amazing. If you are from NYC and are afraid to be deep in the mountains, our location is perfect. Mountains and stream, with easy access to all. Close to everything during the spring and summer. 6 acres with a stream running in the back. Large deck, patio with firepit.

Very difficult to find a large 5-7 bedroom house with open space, no less a game room and second living room at an affordable price (given the outside hasn't been updated/finished). The house is meant for large families and configured accordingly. You don't need to be afraid of bad weather, there is so much to do together inside. the gathering spaces, fully stocked cooks kitchen, open space make it easy to be together. The bedrooms are clean, comfortable and have blackout curtains. Air-conditioning and heat are plentiful. The hardwood and non porous surfaces make clean up easy, but warmed up with decorative touches and the most amazing hand built fireplace. There is a lot of property for the kids to play or for your pets to run. Stream that runs along the back.
