A nicely furnished 2 level, 5 bedroom, 3 bath vacation rental home on Lake DeSoto with 2 furnished decks. The entry level has a large living room, dining room, kitchen with separate dining area and utility room with full sized washer and dryer. The entry level has a queen guest bedroom, king guest bedroom with a guest bathroom with tub/shower. The master bedroom has a king bed with a walk in shower and tub in the master bathroom. The kitchen, living room and master bedroom open onto the upper deck which has a gas grill. Downstairs are two bedrooms with queen and twin beds and a third bathroom. Each bedroom opens to the downstairs deck. There is a walkway down to the lake.

Very large house with great views

This house is huge. Could sleep 13 with bed sharing or 7 with no bed sharing. It's a little tricky to find the driveway and a little bit steep of a drop to the house. We probably stayed on an off week for the cleaning crew, but the outside of the house (deck & entry way) was a mess.

4th of July

The stay on the lake was amazing and we were able to kayak to the beach. We had fun fishing off the lake and had a great time. The stairs to the lake were horrible and some of the bricks were loose. The landscaping needed a lot of work. The house had bugs inside. The whole thing needed updating. The house wasn’t stocked well, there was a washer and dryer but not laundry soap. Things were broken including lights. There were nails and hooks on empty walls. It was a large house but needs a lot of work

Something Rank

When you first pull up, the house is beautiful. We walked through the front door and were overwhelmed by the smell of moth balls. The furniture is taped together and not enough furniture for our large family. The downstairs bedrooms were very spacious! Unfortunately, we couldn't use one of the rooms because there was something dead in the wall that was disgusting!! The management company sent someone out. He wasn't able to find it in the crawl spaces so he saturated the carpet with Febreeze and left the almost empty bottle with us.

needs some improvement!

The location was great, however the kitchen faucet was like being on a ride at magic springs. Have a towel handy because you will get soaked! The landscape was like being in the movie “Jumanji”. The sheets on the beds were not clean and could have used some TLC. The washing machine gives an extra rinse so you clothes comes out clean but dripping wet. Be prepared to wring them out by hand. It could definitely use some updates. 3 Stars max.

Lake Living Property

The property is everything you,see online. There are somethings that could be done to upgrade the property. ( mini blinds, new furniture ect.). Things that people have left therein the house need to be taken out of the house. We did Not have hot water in the kitchen. All shower heads need to be replace. Replace light bulbs in some of the rooms.
