Escape to our cozy 4BR farmhouse in Big Bear, perfect for large groups & families! This pet-friendly retreat comfortably sleeps your group and features a hot tub, game room, and fire pit. Located minutes from ski resorts and The Village, it's an ideal mountain getaway. Includes a Level 2 EV charger, a fully fenced yard, fire table on the Red Trolley Line with easy access to all of Big Bear's best attractions. Your unforgettable adventure starts here!

Step into a spacious, single-story farmhouse designed with an open-concept layout perfect for groups. The split floor plan offers privacy, with two bedrooms and a bathroom on each side of the central living space.

Living Area: Relax on comfortable leather sofas and enjoy the 65" large flat-screen TV with Roku & DVD attached.

Kitchen: A fully equipped kitchen ready for everything from quick breakfasts to large family dinners. With GE/Samsung appliances, gas stove/oven and microwave and several small appliances like the Forman Grill, CrockPot, rice cooker, mixer, blender, Keurig coffee pod machine, Mr Coffee all to make life easier.

Family-Friendly Extras:
Pack ’n Play/travel crib, high chair, kids’ dishes, toys, and movies to keep little ones happy.

Bedrooms & Game Room: Four bedrooms, including a fun zone with two sets of built-in double-sized bunk beds, life-size games, soft darts and toys. A detailed floor plan is available in the photo gallery. Thee of the bedrooms have large 55" flat screen TV's with Roku built-in.

Convenience:
High-speed WiFi, washer/dryer, and a Level 2 EV charger (J1772) for easy vehicle charging. Located on the Big Bear Red Trolley line for free local transit.

Outdoor Oasis: Your private, cedar-fenced yard includes a jetted hot tub, a cozy fire pit, and a BBQ grill for memorable meals.

Guests will have private and exclusive access to the entire 4-bedroom home, the private fenced yard, and all amenities on the property, including the hot tub and game room. Enjoy a seamless arrival with our easy self-check-in process. Detailed instructions will be provided prior to your stay.

We respect our guests' privacy and offer a seamless self-check-in experience. While we will not be present at the property during your stay, we are always available and happy to assist with any questions or needs via the booking platform messenger.

Pet-Friendly: We are happy to welcome your furry friends! All guests must provide pet information through our partner, BetterPet Passport, prior to arrival. Please note that a few breeds are restricted.

Winter Travel: Big Bear often experiences snow and ice. While our road is plowed, tire chains may be required by law during storms. We highly recommend considering travel insurance for winter bookings.

Security: For your security, the exterior of the property is monitored by video cameras.

NO parties, there is a strict ORDINANCE in Big Bear regarding no parties and quite hours between 10PM to 7AM.
No-Smoking. We are a pet friendly home, Pet must be booked with a pet fee and send copy of valid dog license, must pick up after your dog.
Any trash beyond a one can or keeps it from closing tight must be taken with you. Trash cans must be fully closed and locked down at all times.

Lovely house fir family get togethers

We loved staying at this house. It was clean and comfortable. The kids loved the game room with bunk beds and we enjoyed the jacuzzi. Hoping to stay there again!

Cool house in Big Bear

We had a great time at this house during our latest stay in Big Bear. It matched the description perfectly and the property manager/owner was kind, fast and helpful when we needed her during our stay. The cabin was very cool temperature wise which is a plus in the mountains. Thank you for a pleasant stay, we look forward to returning.

Juan I am so sorry to hear about your experience, I wish I knew during your stay so we could have addressed it for you. There has been no other concerns with hot water since you checked out and we had a handy man out today to inspect and he confirmed there was nothing wrong in either bathroom. When it’s snowing and the weather is very cold outside the pipes may take longer to warm up than expected, mountain living is quite chilly. We hope you give the cold pipes up here another chance and we can host you again in the future!

Great trip!

If you are looking for a kid/ family friendly location, this is it! The house is adorable and the kid room kept our kids occupied when it was too cold to be outside. The property manager/ owner of the house was very kind and always available. When we ended up getting stuck due to weather they extended our stay so we wouldn’t be out, trying to figure out what to do with our young kids. Would highly recommend!

Perfect for a family with little ones!

We stayed in this cabin for our first family trip to big bear! We had three 5 year olds and a 6 month old. This was the perfect place for them, beds for everyone and tons of games to keep them busy. We came prepared with snow clothes for the kids but they actually had snow gear you could borrow if needed. That’s so thoughtful! Check in and check out was easy peasy. We went to explore the downtown area and it wasn’t too far of a drive at all. Definitely recommend!

Family vacation

The people we rented from were easy to contact when we needed something. They had all toiletries available which was nice so we didn't have to travel with them or purchase them. The house was very nice and clean. The only issue we had was that you can't be in the hot tub after 10 pm. We were gone all day and by the time we got back to the house it was too late to get in plus it was too hot to get in it during the day.

Thank you so much for the review! It does suck that the city is so strict about rules around noise, parties and groups. We have the same concerns when our family stays at the cabin. I understand the locals not wanting to hear noise every night but also wish we could enjoy our property fully. We do our best to navigate around local complaints and still make the best of the trip. Super cute home, but plumbing and heating systems need an upgrade

Pros - the house was super cute, the property owner was easy to reach, very nice and easy to work with, the kids playroom and all the games provided were AWESOME! Cons - a slight plumbing problem (the guest bath had a constant drip) and the sounds of the heating system kept a few of our guests awake throughout the night. Those who slept in the front bedrooms had to keep their doors open, so the sounds of the dripping bathtub and the heater kept them awake. They tried closing the door the second night, but their rooms got cold as the heat is primarily in the hallways and in the main living areas. Even with the cons above, we all still had a great time and the kids room was the place where we all loved to congregate and bond.

Thank you so much the feedback Michelle, things happen in the house and we rely on your feedback to fix it! Bathroom all fixed and we have added a message at check in to remind everyone where the extra plug in heaters are in case they didn’t see it in the house manual and to start the house heater earlier in the evening when the sun sets to get the whole house warmed up before bedtime. The temperature drops so significantly when the sun sets in the mountains we forget to get ahead of warming up the whole house in time. Your feedback helps others and us to keep getting better and better, I appreciate it! We look forward to hosting you again in the future.

Family friendly stay

This property is great for young children. Our kids (ranging from 2-10) LOVED the playroom and bunk beds. It kept them very entertained. House was clean. Bathrooms have been updated. The communication I had with owner was responsive-no issues. If I had to offer anything constructive I would note that for large parties there was not enough towels, hand towels etc no problem for us because we brought our own. We like to eat so we felt there were some essentials missing- mixing and serving bowls (salads, sides etc) just comforts we enjoy and wish we had. The other thing is that there are outdoor cameras front and back. Totally understand the need for an owner to have but I felt a bit uncomfortable having the cameras in the back where we were hanging out-it was uncomfortable for me personally. I did rent knowing there were cameras. Overall great family place!!

We appreciate the feedback, we will use it to improve our guest experience and look into adding more cooking amenities for future guests. Regarding our exterior security cameras, our insurance company explained it as, hotels have cameras for their protection and so should you, to protect your assets. We do utilize our cameras in the self check-in process to verify headcount at check in / check out, to compare with the reservation booking and county compliance. Based on our photo verifications prior to your check-in I counted at least 25 towels stocked for your stay with 12 people, our laundry room is also stocked with supplies should guests feel a need to refresh the towels. Thank you for bringing these points to our attention! We enjoyed hosting your group and look forward to having you again in the future!

We would absolutely recommend to families and large groups.

We had a great visit to Big Bear! The place was very clean and smelled great when we checked in. Felt like staying in a huge hotel. Check in was simple and we were given an extra hour at check out. The host was very easy to communicate with and very responsive. The house was well stocked and well taken care off. We were left a goodie basket of snacks, oatmeal, waters, hot chocolate, coffee and mixings and wine. Fully stocked kitchen, cable tv, board games and kids toys. Our kids had the best time and can’t wait to return here! We enjoyed the spa and fire pit very much and so grateful for the experience.

Super great host

Mandy was a great host. Communication with her was easy with quick response to my questions. Upon request she even allowed for early check in and extended check out. We enjoyed the hot tub, outdoor patio with grill. And the kids had a great time playing in one of the kid friendly bedrooms. Thanks for the hospitality Mandy !

LOVE IT!

We stayed here for a short get away with the family and we loved it. It is an older home but it’s very well kept and you can tell they’ve been doing upgrades. We don’t ever expect a home to be perfectly put together especially as a rental but this exceeded our expectation. The kids LOVED the bunk/game room, the house felt very cozy for us and I feel like they had every small appliance our ‘speciality item’ we needed and more. We have family that lives close by that came over for dinner and there was plenty of space with the extra table and chairs provided. I love the shabby/farmhouse decor too. The house is off a main road but is tucked back. My 2 and 5 year old had a great time playing outside with no issues. It’s close to downtown and the groceries were convenient. The host is very gracious and responsive. We’ll be back for sure.

Inaccurate listing

Don’t just rely on reviews, do your own homework! This is the lesson we learned. 1. sqft is missing from the listing. Zillow shows 1,540 sqft which is much smaller than other 4 bedrooms rentals. Living room, kitchen and two guest bedrooms are very small. The dining table can only accommodate 6 people. The floor plan is weird. 2. The house is very close to Greenspot Blvd (highway 38). We can hear traffic noises in the late night and early morning. 3. The location is in Sugarloaf. It can take about 30mins to drive to major grocery stores like Vons when traffic is bad. 4. The house rules are NOT kid friendly. No jumping on the bed. No food or drinks in the game room. 5. Guest bedrooms can be really cold in the night. The heat can not go into those rooms as the space heater is in the living room. Even tried the tips from host by keeping bedroom doors open, it does not help much. 6.There are chips in the bathtub (not showing in the picture) which can use some upgrades.

To address your concerns on space, the bedrooms are standard sized rooms and we have done our best to make good use of the space to accommodate the number of guests allowed in our listing. As outlined in the listing and the house rules, there is an additional table and chairs in the closet that will accommodate the additional five people if needed at the dining room. The location is in Big Bear City and is not Sugarloaf. We are 4 miles from Vons, 6 miles from the Village and 6 miles from Snow Summit. The lot the home sits on is approx. ¼ acre and the home sits toward the back of the property, providing ample driveway space to accommodate up to six vehicles. This layout also allows additional space between the home and the street. Our home is cinderblock construction with dual pane windows and muffles any street noise very well. As written in the house rules also, there are space heaters available for the bedrooms if needed in addition to the new wall heaters we recently installed. The chipping on the bathtub is normal wear and tear. The tub is original to the home, making it 56 years old and we feel it adds to the charm of the cabin feel. The chips mentioned do not affect the function or sanitation of the tub in any way. Although we appreciate constructive feedback on ways we can make our home more comfortable for our guests, we do not appreciate guest that do not read the house rules and have little respect for others property. In this situation Betsy took advantage of our hospitality, disregarded our house rules and damaged our property. The box spring in the bedroom was broken from their children jumping on the bed and the carpets and mattresses were soiled with urine. Additionally, Betsy did not take responsibility for the damages by paying for all repairs and in turn left the review above. I have a large family myself and have stayed in this home and many other Vrbo’s on multiple occasions without damaging the property. I would hope and expect anyone staying in our home would treat it as their own and leave it in the same condition they received it.

Perfect for families

We stayed over Thanksgiving week. I have to say the host was great with communication from beginning to end. The kids loved the kids room and took advantage of all the games the room provided, not to mention the cool bunk beds !everything is just a short drive a way ! We definitely recommend this place to people with little Ones !

Excellent, clean, relaxing and must of all fun....

Me and my family had the most relaxing time ever. We had an early Thanksgiving dinner up here, all the necessities were in stock here in the kitchen. The kids played games all day that were supplied here at the house. There is nothing the host left out. It's like you we're at a 5 star hotel. All supplies were there. The home was a few minutes away from markets and Village. We will definitely be coming back real soon. Me & my family would Thank you for a wonderful visit 💕

Big Bear Birthday getaway

It was a great time, we went to big bear for my mother-in-law’s birthday just to spend some time out of the city and really just relax with each other in the home, it was a great experience being so close to everything in town just a short drive and we were able to have fun at the Alpine slide park and get lunch and dinner from nearby businesses.

Cozy Cabin

This cabin was just perfect for a short stay with our family of 6! Very clean, close to town, fresh linens and just an all around great stay! The cabin provided games and movies which the kids loved. We'll defintely be back this winter to enjoy the snow! Highly recommend this location!!

Great Experience!

Mandy was always a phone call away from when we checked in until we checked out. This was a comfortable place for myself and my wife to stay at as we visited the city.

Can’t wait to come again!

Easy to find, host was super helpful. Everything was ready for us and I immediately wished we’d brought more people because there is so much room and so many beds. Speaking of the beds, so comfy. I stayed in bed so long and didn’t want to leave. Would have been nice if there were snow, but it was July so… : )
