2 day getaway

We had an amazing time at the pool house. House was beautiful and clean, we had plenty of room for all 5 of us. Ken was easy to get ahold of with questions and responded quickly. The property was beautiful with amazing landscaping. We enjoyed lounging in the pool. We only wish we could have stayed there for more days.

A Beautiful Slice of Paradise

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! Ken and Deb were so accommodating with travel, ideas for places to eat, and provided some snacks and food for breakfast in the morning. Our daughter loved the treehouse access, pool access and the bedroom upstairs with its spiral staircase and chalk wall. Toys were even upstairs for her to play with! I recommend this place to anyone! Thank you guys again it was great!

Loved it

We had a perfect short stay. Deb and Ken went above and beyond to make our time with our family special. We will come back and stay for longer next time! The kids talked about the house the whole way home :)

Clean and quiet

Overall, place was very clean and quiet. Easy to get to and secluded, but not far from the highway. Great stopping place on the way to your destination and would definitely stay again.

The property was a “10” as described. It is obvious every detail was thoroughly thought through for comfort, safety and convenience. I would most accurately describe it as Serena and Lily meets Disney. Super comfortable for adults and magical for kids. The “sparkling” tree and treehouse were storybook magic. We will find an excuse to stay here again!

Resort like exterior

First impression-resort vibes because of the beautiful pool, flower garden, and music (what sounded like Caribbean music). Pretty porch for sitting outside and relaxing. We went for a wedding with the venue within an 8 minute drive. It was perfect for that. Interior was very clean and well decorated. Would be a great stop on the way to your vacation destination, wedding near by, or Troy football game. Location was perfect because it was just off the main highway.

Fantastic spot.

Picture this…. Trip starts off with no one ready to leave on time. Kids in back seat the whole trip pulling hair, bickering, fighting over seat cushion territory. Wife packed in a hurry. Can’t find anything. Gas station pump half didn’t work. Guy on interstate cuts you off at the exit. Then you pull up to this place. Kids see it and get giddy, wife pats you on the back and says “you’re a good dad”. All is well with the world because this is the kinda place that turns it all around. Highly recommend

Traveling with a wheelchair user

My oldest friend (who uses a wheelchair) and I stayed at this property. It was a real pleasure. This rental is NOT completely wheelchair accessible. There is a step up into the house. However, we were able to make it work with my friend transferring in and out of her chair at the door. If there were a short ramp added to the front door (even something removable when not needed), that would make all the difference. We also had an issue with the height of the bed but the host was SO KIND, responsive and helpful, we were able to make it work. It's a beautiful spot and a well-stocked little house. It's not private since the host home is just on the other side of the pool, but that was fine with us. Thanks, Ken!

Highly recommend!

My family and I are traveling to the beach and we like to find a place to stop around halfway to make it easier on the children. I found this little stay and couldn’t be happier! I had some questions before booking and the host replied very quickly. They were so nice to us and truly made us feel very welcome. The house was immaculate and had everything you could think of. Plenty of complimentary items and the pool was beautiful and clean. All of the details to make our stay feel comfortable and cozy did not go unnoticed. We would absolutely stay here again! Amazing!

This property is more than described! Upon arrival, you are welcomed with snacks, a welcome sign, and a few drinks as well as ice in the freezer! The hosts were super friendly and made sure our stay was amazing. While the house is next to the host's home, we truly felt like we were at a private resort! The rest of our family stayed elsewhere and were blown away when they stopped over. The hosts truly thought of everything! If ever going through the area in the future, this location will be our first choice! Thank you!!

Always a favorite!

This was our third stay and it was amazing as always— the only sad part is it’s gotten so popular, we can’t come as often as we wish we could!! The best VRBO experience is off the highway in Ramer!!

One night stay- THE BEST

My family and I stayed for night as we were passing through. The house is BEAUITFUL. It is one of the cleanest places I have stayed. My 8month old could crawl all over and her hands feet and knees were not dirty. Ken and Deb were very welcoming and great hosts! Their pool is beautiful and perfect for all ages. They had many floats for our family to use, even an infant one. 10/10 would recommend and we hope to stay again if we are ever this way again!

Amazing!!

We stopped and stayed and night on the way to Destin. We wished we would have had time to stay another night. The kids loved the pool and the loft area. Comfy beds, so clean, beautiful and the easiest check in and check out. We had everything we needed!

I'm a retired Air Force Satellite Systems Operator. If you've ever used the Global Positioning System (GPS) then I've served you before. Deb is a retired CEO of the Lewis Family, and previously a small business owner and VP, Sales and Marketing at Asgard Press. Eventually, Deb and I moved home to south Alabama in 2019 from Colorado Springs CO. We love it here. Southern hospitality is alive and well. We have three grown sons: Chris (Sheriff Deputy), Nicholas (Classical Pianist, BM Performance Belmont) and Joshua (Nuclear Physicist PhD candidate, UCI). Chris' wonderful wife Hannah and our two munchkin grandsons Oliver and Desmond. God is so good! So part of our hearts are still in Colorado and now California.

God blessed us with an amazing property and the open door to own and manage a short term rental here. It's a little resort and we love it when guests are amazed. From fine furnishings to manicured landscaping, we're just making it better every day. What we didn't expect is, how blessed we would be from the guests we've had here. There are some amazing people on this VRBO platform. If you have a few minutes, I'd love to share the history of this house and the historic history of Ramer and Pine Level Alabama. While Deb and I live in the Farmhouse across the pool, we can say hi but we will respect your privacy so you'll have a resort style time! If you are considering visiting, please do.
